The woman on the phone was nice enough, but I ordered at 11am and the delivery was to be about 2 minutes away - and yet it took over 4 hours for the flowers to arrive. When I called to comment that this seemed too long - the woman (who worked there) agreed it was probably the driver and for whatever reason he took an hour - probably drove all over the place and came to the closest location to the flower shop last. Bad call in my view. The arrangement was nice, looking a bit old a few of them, but that was ok. I am giving a 4 star to say that their delivery process needs to be examined. Other than that, it was an ok experience. I was going to initially give a 1 star but felt that to be a bit harsh. Then it was 3 when I started writing this, but then again - felt that perhaps their bad delivery shouldn't punish the entire business. I will try them again and see. If this happens again, I'll return to lower my rating and update my review.

Some family friends used Uptown Flowers to send me an arrangement after the sudden death of my husband. What Uptown Flowers sent out was dried up, half dead flowers that had mold growing in the leaves and stems. After calling to make sure I would be home (which I was) the flowers were left outside at my door. I am sure that was because the person delivering them was too embarrassed to hand me the half dead flowers. Needless to say they went straight in the garbage!

They have great options to choose from. Be it pre-ordering online or customizing your plants to your liking. The guy who works here is very friendly and cheery. He is also does the delivery in the afternoon and never forgets to bring his cheerful self to the receiver of the flowers.

Phoned in an hour before closing; I badly needed a flower delivery for my wife. The guy said he would make the delivery after work, on his way home. Not only did he come through, delivering on time, but the bouquet of flowers was well-chosen. The wife loved it. Way to go above an beyond. Well done.

Some people come here to buy flowers, and others to buy Romanian sweets and deli meat. I was so pleasantly surprised to see my country's popular sweets and spreads, at reasonable prices. The personnel are friendly. The Romanian traditional deli meat was fresh and delicious. Keep up the good work!

Beautiful custom bouquets of flowers made with love! Family owned business I found out through my boyfriend that’s located in New West. My first experience was a beautifully put together surprise flowers from my boyfriend in the first photo below. Weeks after I got my mom a personal bouquet for her birthday. I gave them a budget for $90 and they asked me if I wanted bright flowers and if there was any specific ones that were my moms favorites. They added a a couple orchards as it was one of her favorites. Nonetheless, my mom was surprised and it made her day so special! They also sell cards as well to write in and attach to the flowers. Very pleasant experience!

They have vanilla and cherry coke which is a plus. There is also a deli, another plus. However, I bought avocados here and when I got home they were all rotten.

We were very impressed with the delivery of this arrangement. The flowers were a lovely mix of daisies and snapdragons and roses, I just picked the supreme bouquet and they delivered! There was a mixup on my end regarding the delivery day, but I called and they fixed my error immediately. I will definitely be back and recommend to everybody.

Though some of the plants were nice they were over priced. Not to mention when I got some home one of them had spider mites all over it and now I'm having to check all my plants everyday to make sure they don't have it either. It looks like they're just looking for a quick buck and I'm very passionate about my plants and it seems that they are really not at all.

Be careful no returns no matter what. They were very nice in store but really rude when I called them back to ask a question. They also ramp up prices near the holidays so their product is so overly expensive. I suggest going elsewhere.

Failed to deliver the flowers that I ordered for my girlfriend on Valentine's Day (online order placed early on the 13th), despite the fact that I called them to confirm the delivery details. I also called on the 14th, when the flowers still hadn't been delivered by 4:30pm, and was assured that they were "on the truck" for delivery.... Thanks Uptown Flowers, you really made a Valentine's Day spent working away even crappier.

Do not go here! I walked in early to get flower for my first visit to my recently deseased friends grave. I didn't have any idea in what I should bring. As I asked for help and explained my situation, I was met with a condescending tone telling me I should get one of the premade ones because they're cheap. I can only guess because I look very young. Even then, there wasn't a smidge of compassion. I told them I wanted something else, something small and I liked the low standing vases in the back. She immediately pointed out those are more expensive, and I told her it's fine. She then asked what's my budget (which I know is normal) and I told her I'm fine with up too 100 dollars. I regret telling her because she went and made an arrangement in a huge, long pot that looked awful. All the flowers were really spaced out and you can see the foam from every angle. The total came to $110. I just wanted something small but beautiful. I feel like I was taken advantage of because of my vulnerability and lack of experience. Please consider supporting other florists who actually have a passion for their job.

I used to buy flowers here many times a year, however the last few times i've shopped there i was treated very rudely. Whatever you do don't ask questions about the defferent prices or you will be made to feel like an idiot.

Great service at this little shop. I'd grab things for my lunch often when I worked in the area. I forgot my wallet one day and didn't realize until I was at the till. The guy told me to take the food and just pay the next time I'm in. Holy cow. You don't come across service like this very often.

I require two things when I order flowers, 1. Alive 2. On the correct date They showed up alive, but a day early. Special occasions flowers are meant for the date selected. It's really not difficult. Great job on ruining a 30th birthday surprise. When I called she first said 'let me get a hold of the driver' and what take them back? Then asked 'what do I want'? I dunno at least the additional $15 you charge for delivery. Waste of $70.

They went to the trouble of postponing a delivery to a few hours later the same day, instead of doing only the minimally satisfactory requirement of leaving the flowers at our front door in the middle of an ongoing heat wave. That struck me as very thoughtful. Thanks, Uptown Florist.

First time ordering Valentine's flowers there for my wife and it was nice. A few weeks later, I unexpectedly had to order a funeral arrangement. I wasn't sure what to order and when to have it delivery so I went into the store. I told them my budget was $150-170, the lady helping me quickly grabs an order form and puts down $170 right away. She asked what colors I liked and what colors the deceased liked. We settle on pink and white. After delivery and taxes, it was just over $200. After I paid, I asked what it would look like. The lady grabs a binder out and shows me some pictures. Why didn't she bring it out when I was inquiring so I can see the options. She then asked if I would like to receive a picture text message of the flowers and I said, yes that would be great. Sadly I never got those pictures, so I'm unsure of what flowers I got for $200! I myself forgot about it until a family member of the deceased texted me and thanked me for getting the flowers. Needless to say, this will be my last time going to uptown flowers.

Overpriced, taking advantage of holidays to raise the costs of flowers and ridiculous $12 delivery charge even for just a few blocks away. Lady who owns it who took my mother's day order was rude too when I asked questions about the price selections. Confused where they got the good reviews from lol. Paid total of $42 for this lousy bouquet below with only 1 single rose and the rest are cheap carnations, not happy with this business and will spread the negative experience to everyone I know.
