Nice quality flowers, however when I introduced myself and told the salesgirl that I'm fairly new to town and always like fresh flowers in my home, she didn't seem to understand that I was hoping to build a rapport. She was just very impersonable, which is fine I suppose, but I was hoping for a more "community family" oriented experience.

DO NOT GO HERE!! This is a Chilliwack business I would not recommend going to, not only did they deliver wilted old flowers, I had to drive to the store on this hot day with my two little ones to be told it was my fault thats what flowers do, their was no such kind of apology, of course no refund, besides the wilted old flowers, it is unacceptable to treat people in this way and sell product like that, Im not the one who delivered old flowers and charged an obscene amount! this problem could have be resolved so simply, again DO NOT GO HERE their are plenty of other flower shops in Chilliwack!

I called a friend of mine in Chilliwack to recommend a place for me to buy flowers for my girlfriend. I did this after doing this Google search which turned up numerous results and I got a little confused on who to call. My girlfriend doesn't like funeral flowers (carnations) and anything with babies breath makes her vomit... I basically told the lady (who answered) at "That Flower Shop" ... and she said she understood. I called at 10AM and they were delivered to my gf's work 2 hours later... and she was ecstatic! They were perfect. Now, I'm a dude and I haven't seen them but I have to be believe that if the gf liked 'em, they're nice! Don't be put off by the "BJ" in the name... no idea where that came from... The Flower Shop in Chilliwack (on Vedder Road) comes highly recommended by this guy!

I am not impressed. I ordered a $100 meat and cheese basket and maybe got $25.00 in items. Not to mention I ordered it and was promised that it would be delivered to my husband before he got off work at 3:00pm. It was suppose to be a surprise and I ended up having to tell my husband about it because come 3:00pm it was still not delivered and my husband had to sit at work until it showed up. Not only that but the place is a 6 min drive from my husbands work and it took almost 7 hours to get there. This was the worst experience ever.

Some flowers weren’t fresh and some decorations for example the fern is in plastic. Definitely over-priced. I paid in total ( including taxes )72$; they could have done better.

Great service. My order was delivered on time and girl went to great lengths to include a hand drawing on my attatched card. Im in Sydney Australia and surprised how easy it was to get my order processed ad delivered locally in Chilliwack.????

They don't deserve 1 star!!! Update May 11 2020; Kathy the owner refuses to refund our $136.85 sent via e-transfer. She would not return our calls so my husband drove to the shop. Kathy refused to do the refund and said she will send a refund chq in the mail!?? Why mail it when my husband was right there??! TERRIBLE COMPANY!!! They don't deserve 1 star!!! DO NOT ORDER FLOWERS FROM THIS PLACE!!! My husband ordered flowers on Friday morning, May 8th for Mother's day. The flowers were supposed to be delivered that day, May 8th. My husband called yesterday, Sat to inquire and was told they don't accept M/C debit so he has to send an e-transfer, that wasn't made known at the time of purchase on Fri! An e-transfer was sent right away, still no flowers! Today, May 10th my husband was in contact with them TWICE assuring the flowers will be here, in fact he spoke with someone at 5pm and was told don't worry they're on the way the delivery truck just left. Now, at 5:48 pm the owner JUST called ME not my husband to tell me they "ran out of flowers and they won't be delivering my Mother's day flowers UNTIL TUESDAY MAY 12TH!!!" What kind of business do you run that you've made my husband wait 2.5 days for a surprise bouquet Mother's day flowers, assure him "don't worry they'll be there" THEN CALL AT 5:48 PM TO TELL ME MY MOTHER'S DAY FLOWERS WON'T BE DELIVERED UNTIL 2 DAYS PAST MOTHER'S DAY??!! Because we spent the entire weekend waiting for these flowers to show up, the plans my husband made to celebrate Mother's day were all canceled! So no Mother's day flowers AND no picnic in nature because we were waiting for the aforementioned no show! Worst experience EVER!! BEWARE DO NOT USE THAT FLOWER SHOP ON VEDDER!!!! Kathy the owner was very rude and didn't even bother to apologize! Thanks for ruining my Mother's day!

So thankful to the owner. We ordered flowers to Hope hospital and did not realize No deliveries on Saturday and when the mistake was realized she moved heaven and earth to get our flowers to our sick loved one on a Saturday. Thank you again I will recommend them anytime.

I don't recommend anyone ordering anything from this store!!! I paid almost 100 bucks to send my grandmother a mothers day gift and this is what she received. I called to complain (a number of times before I got through to anyone) and the staff member simply told me that there was nothing they could do and that I did infact receieve 100 dollar product. If you're planning on sending a loved one a gift from this store, I HIGHLY recommend you don't. This was an insult rather than a gift. Oh and it gets worst - they also delivered my grandmothers mothers day gift at 730PM in the evening. Don't waste your money !!! What a nightmare !!

Received a surprise bouquet from my boyfriend. I love the arrangement and the colours, very on trend! They wrapped it up nicely to keep the stems from drying out. The only thing is that there was no flower food included so not sure how long these will last. Also, the greenery is a little brown on the tips. Boyfriend said they were very friendly though!

We ordered 2 floral arrangements for a funeral on the phone. We are not from town and didn't have the opportunity to see the flowers. I worry about ordering things online. However, after calling the That Flower Shop on Vedder, Kiana was so nice and was knowledgeable which made me feel better. On the day of service we were very pleased to see and also hear how beautiful they were. Thank you for the beautiful arrangements and for the spectacular service.

Waited hours on mother's day for flowers I didn't receive at all, instead my pregnant wife recieved her flowers two days later where she still had to wait until the late evening (well after dinner time) . When I inquired about it and why it was so late I got the pandemic excuse but they were more than willing to take my money and time. With how long my wife and I waited I could have simply shopped elsewhere for better value and better customer service. My flowers were wired to stand up right, and it was not in a vase. If you're looking for quality and good customer service you are looking in the wrong place never have I ever been this disappointed in something I paid for.

Don't ask for delivery from this shop, it's extremely unreliable. The staff in store are great though. A bit pricey, but they'll work within your budget.

Flowers delivered a day late. Delivery address and phone number was correct (double checked) and the shop said they went there and called/left messages... but there was no knock at the door, and no missed calls/voicemails. I've order from this place once before, but this time was disappointing. I called the day after the delivery date was missed and asked them to just leave the flowers at the delivery location and ring the doorbell once. Instead of doing that, they hammered on the doorbell until someone finally answered. Not impressed. Poor communication about the delivery.

Absolutely fantastic experience, phenomenal staff. my 11yr old son secretly stopped in after school yesterday. He was looking at some flowers when a staff member approached him, so he asked how much the carnations cost. She asked him what his budget was, to which he replied "five dollars". So the staff member playfully asked if he was looking for a girlfriend. He explained that he was looking for some flowers for his mom, carnations are my favorite. The staff member was so touched by his thoughfullness and kindness that she made him up a little bouquet of carnations and let him take it at no cost. This touched my heart so deeply, it made my day, week and year. We have some fantastic people and businesses in this little community of ours and That Flower Shop on Vedder is most certainly one of them!b

Do not buy on mother's day. Worst experience so far. Basically as soon as you enter in to the store they tell you can't pick anything, you can't return it if you don't like it, you only have to say the amount of how much you want to pay and, they give you whatever is left there. Super over-priced. $56 for something that is totally not worth it. Very disappointed. That was my second try. Never going back.

Ordered a sympathy arrangement, and was called, 2 days after it was supposed to be delivered, that they couldn't do an arrangement at that time but they could do a bouquet, so I agreed to that, no mention of substitution of flowers. My cousin sent me a picture of the bouquet and it had none of the flowers I had paid for (glads, large lilies, gerbera daisies) It looked like a bouquet of mums, not close to what I ordered. Paid $105 for a bouquet that cost $40 at Safeway. Tried contacting through their ‘contact us’ page, twice, and they will not get back to me.

In the nicest way possible we had a horrible wedding experience, owner Kathy has too much personal issues in her life to focus on the company (the only reason I know this is because she gave us her life story) The manager Tammy was kind to us and helped as much as she could but still a lot of lack with communication. Flowers we got were decent but not worth what we paid. We were told we would get an extra little guest table bouquet for the bad service but that never happened. Might be a good place for small everyday flowers but I'd stay clear and find another place if you're looking for Wedding flowers!

We were out of town for my mothers 93 birthday and I relied on the staff to create something special for her. I phoned the order in on the morning of her birthday and was concerned that they wouldn’t be able to deliver them until the next day but I was assured that they would go out with that afternoon delivery, and they were. They were very helpful and pleasant to deal with; even sent me a picture of the arrangement before it was sent out. They did a very good job in creating a lovely arrangement including some specially treated roses. My mother was really pleased. I will definitely use them again.

The doorbell rang on Mother’s Day at 3:30 pm. On the doorstep sat a wilted display of flowers sitting in dirty water. I changed the water and noticed the three main flowers were wired to stand upright. When my son phoned to ask if I liked my flowers I did not have the heart to tell him the truth. If a flower shop does not have the integrity to insure their product is fresh, in clean water then ALL FUTURE CUSTOMERS should be aware of what might stand on a loved one’s doorstep if they choose this flower shop.

Daughters birthday landed on fathers day this year, her boyfriend ordered her flowers from here well in advance because of fathers day, to ensure she would get them on the 21st of June. They said it was a guarantee. They did not show up on her birthday, finally got a call saying they would show up on Tuesday the 23rd. The day they showed up was sunny and warm (one of the few this year, lol ) the flowers showed up with chocolates, but the delivery person did not knock or ring the door bell, so by the time anyone went out and noticed them, it was in the evening, they where sitting in the sun, chocolates where melted and the flowers where wilted, sent them a message and they did not call, or message back, never heard from them. Come on at least ring the door bell. Do not recommend this flower shop.

The flowers I ordered for mother's day were beautiful. I asked for certain colors and they were willing to accommodate my request. It took a couple extra days to deliver but I understand it is a busy time, and nothing is running normally during the Covid-19 pandemic. I would order from them again and would recommend!

Extremely disappointed. Ordered flowers well in advanced for Mother’s Day, called and said they GUARANTEED delivery by EOD. It didn’t arrive. Today I’ve called 4 x’s and no one has answered my calls or responded to my emails. I highly recommend NOT dealing with this shop. This is not professional at all, especially during these unprecedented times, every little ounce of joy goes a long way and you turned what was supposed to be a special day into my mother thinking we forgot about her. She still hasn’t gotten the flowers and the surprise has been ruined.

In today's day & age with all this technology, it's so easy for someone to post a bad review when it is their opinion but does not accurately portray or reflect on the business. As an owner, you don't dare answer them for fear of what other "untruths" they may post about you. I don't like anyone to be unhappy for any reason, sometimes I just have to realize that you can't please everyone all of the time. Doesn't mean I have to like it.
