Expectation vs reality.
The picture on the left is what my bf thought he was ordering online for $150 (taxes and delivery in) the picture on the right was what he received.
He was a little annoyed that 9 roses and 12 carnations (7 pink and 5 red) cost so much. So he called Lo's florist to explain that he didn't receive what he paid for and this was the second time an online order was so different from what he purchased, the lady was kinda snappy with him, and he explained he was at work and would have to call her back.
She (the manager) than called me at work (where the flowers were delivered) and all she said was "I'm coming to take the flowers back" before I could reply she hung up. So I called back and asked for an explanation as to why she was taking my Valentine's present away. She said your bf is unhappy and doesn't like them. I told her that I did however like them, they were very pretty just not what he ordered. She than raised her voice and said "it's what he ordered!! they are the same!! That the only difference was You got larger carnations!!"
at this point fighting back tears! All I can think is she's taking my flowers away.
I asked her if she knew that he ordered the premium bouquet from their website, and that I could send her a picture of what I received. She than yelled they were the same, that she put together the bouquet, was aware of what it looks like online and what I received. and she'll be sending someone to take them back....if I'm not going to be there than to make sure I just leave them. I asked her if she would be refunding my bf and she said "that's an issue I'll be taking up with Mitch NOT you, so just leave the flowers there if we haven't picked them up before you're off, ok? Bye" and hung up.
I work in the service industry and this is not how you treat unsatisfied customers, I felt so disrespected and hurt. I was never rude or disrespectful to her, I never said anything negative about the flowers that I did receive, they just simply weren't what was ordered.
The issue here isn't the flowers, it's the customer service. A simple I'm sorry would have went a long way. We were never asked if there was anything they could do, we were never offered an explanation. Instead we were left frustrated, hurt and angry. I've never before left a negative comment about a business, I've never left a bad rating or anything, but I was so upset about how I was treated I felt I needed to say something.
