Ordered the "Simply Irresistible" bouquet for my mum's birthday based on the picture on the website (online order) and the bouquet I picked up looked almost exactly like the photograph (I say almost because they try to use what is in season). The bouquet was beautiful, arranged with a beautiful combination of colours, and wrapped with great care and attention. I was greeted very warmly when I entered the floral shop. Would purchase from them again as my mum, who is very picky about her floral arrangements/bouquets, was very very pleased. I realized mid afternoon that it was my 24th wedding anniversary and my wife was working at Bridge Studios in Burnaby. A quick call to Adele-Rae Florist and 2 dozen beautiful roses were delivered. She said the arrangement and Vase were beautiful. She has an incredible eye for taste as she is an Academy Award Nominated Decorator. I will be using them in the future on shows that I do.

I had ordered flowers to be delivered to my partner's family, as they were grieving the loss of a relative. The flowers were scheduled to be delivered on Friday, March 12th. When I spoke to my partner on Saturday, he and his entire family said they had not received any flowers. I asked them to double check but there were no flowers anywhere (front porch, driveway, around the house, etc.). I contacted the shop on Sunday about this to ask what had happened. The shop owner said the driver insisted they delivered the flowers and then sent a photo of all their customers' addresses, phone numbers, and names to me as "proof," which is a HUGE violation of their customers' privacy. He said he would reach out to the driver to ask what happened. The delivery driver proceeded to call my partner, who was at a funeral home at the time, and angrily harass him about this situation, asking how he couldn't remember the delivery and gaslighting him about the entire situation. She then called me and said "How can he not remember, was he on drugs?" and laughed, which was incredibly insulting and unprofessional. Today (Monday, March 15th), the flowers were dropped off while they were home (but didn't knock or call, just left right away), with the envelope dated as March 12th. So it appears that the flowers never got dropped off in the first place and the driver still harassed and gaslighted my grieving partner and his family, trying to blame them for "not remembering" when the flowers had not been delivered at all on Friday, March 12th. I am incredibly disappointed and upset. My partner did not deserve to be harassed and gaslighted because the delivery driver made a mistake. While the flowers themselves were beautiful, the employees here behaved unprofessionally, first by sharing confidential information (names, phone numbers, addresses) with a random customer and then by harassing a grieving family and claiming they were "on drugs" for not remembering a delivery (even though it seems like it never happened in the first place). Despite the many positive reviews for this shop, I would suggest avoiding unless you want to risk your personal contact info getting out to other customers or getting harassed by their delivery driver when they make a mistake. Update: I spoke with the shop owner who apologized for how the situation was handled and refunded the full amount upon request. I appreciate accept their apology. I will keep this review up, however, as this was a stressful situation that future customers should be aware of when deciding to use their services or not.
