So here is the story of our wedding and the flower farm. So dealing with them in the early parts was very easy, they had lots of opinions and knew what they were talking about, price was also not too bad, we had out wedding 8 minutes out side of Drayton valley, yard wedding.. so we rented 90 ish chairs with coverings tables round and square and linens plus a big tent we were told would accommodate the size of out wedding which was 80 people (83 showed up but that will come later) so let's fast forward to three days before the wedding, the the lady we talked to was not the head lady but her understudy so to speak, she called my now wife and said we have a problem I don't think the tent will hold everyone.. ok she has a solution.. if we use square tables we likely can fit them all in.. perfect... oh but we don't have square tables... so at this point she has brought up an issue 3 days before out wedding and has no way to fix it... fats forward.. we decide to just keep things as it is and hope the weather is nice... wedding set up day.. they were short staffed because they had so many more things going on that weekend..we paid extra money to have it delivered and set up which infact we set up pretty much the entire thing plus the tables plus putting all linins on chairs ... they changed the number of tables from our original contract so we were short tables... so they bring us 6 foot rounds which are useless because I requested 8 foot and 3 6 foot rounds take up more space than 2 8 foot ones.. which btw the tent was way too small and a large part of our friends and family sat outside.. thank God the weather was nice..oh and I had to let them use my pick up because the only one they has was a standard and the only one who can drive a standard left so back to get 2 8 foot tables with my personal truck they went.. also we were shorted square tables which we requested... so now they are all gone and our caterer has no tables to set up on... we found some in the garage and made them work.... now it's break down day... very rude to us.. demanding.. one lady went into the house and demanded people come help them to tear down and slammed the door... 10 people in there can vouch for this... and seeing how we were all a bit hung over and I paid for them to set up and take down we did our own stuff for tear down and left them the tent.. also after the rude outburst no one was too thrilled to help... after all of this we just went on with out lives and waited for out damage deposit... nothing was damaged... they did however charge us for the extra tables that they messed up on ( which they used my truck to get) and charged us an hour labour for extra time tearing down.. ( which I paid for in the initial contract) its not my fault you worker was rude and it's not my fault you ran your company too thin to deal with the weekend.. it's peanut money in the end but they messed up on enough things that we let go and helped accommodate them.. then they go petty and charge us more... this is a poorly organised company... they charge you for things but expect you to do them yourself, they promise you they know what they are doing but literally seem to just wing it ( half our tables under the tent needed to be outside) thank God the weather was nice... and when they want to pack up they make you do the work they charged you for... I let alot go during this whole ordeal but when you have the audacity to charge me more money after all the stress and confusion you caused us, that was the last straw... I do not support this company and I'm very disappointed in the lack of professionalism and how they do not deliver on promises.
