I purposely Googled floral shops in Airdrie because I live in Airdrie and wanted to support local shops. They accepted my order to Black Diamond (<100km away) and it took them 3 phone messages before they figured out they couldn't fill the order because a) the didn't have the appropriate stock and b) are part of the "telafloral network" yet cannot manage to get flowers to a town <50 km from a major metropolitan city and have no clue who might help.

I'm adding to my husband's review. Here's a photo of the bouquet I received, all $169 worth (not), most of it a bunch of assorted leaves. I could count the flowers on one hand. An absolute disgrace and blatant rip-off.

I ordered flowers for my friend. I live in Chicago and she lives in Airdrie. The picture of the selection was beautiful. Daisys and Mini Roses. She loved the flowers. But I am very disappointed. There were more baby's breath than Daisys and roses . It seemed like a cheap cop out. I wouldn't order from here again.

Coming from a busy guy who runs his own small business, and not to mention a husband and a Dad to 3 beautiful girls, I have to say that Collette and the team at Summerhill florist make it SOOO easy to have flowers delivered on time for those important events (birthdays, anniversaries, valentines day, etc…). I simply call in with my budget, tell them the delivery address, and approximate time to deliver them and voila the flowers show up and I never even had to go in to the store! You can even set up an account and they will automatically remind you about the important events throughout the year well in advance so you have time to plan for it. Great service, great prices, and great selection!

I love the arrangements that have been created from here! Everything that we've ever ordered - is absolutely stunning. For mothers day, we pre-ordered arrangements, and they asked what my mother's favorite was - birds of paradise - which I knew was unlikely they would be able to include as it wasn't THAT early of a pre-order. Shockingly, when we received the arrangement, it was BREATH TAKING - and included birds of paradise (picture enclosed). Thanks for keeping things fresh, vibrant and spreading smiles and love through what you do!

My daughter ordered $65 fresh cut flowers for Mother's Day. What I received was a couple sprigs of daisies an few other flowers. Don't waste your money here!, much more beautiful and much cheaper at Coop,Safeway, Costco. Was told labour costs, not much labour involved in picking out a few flowers. So disappointed!

Whether it is a thank you, a birthday a wedding or a funeral. Summerhill Florists is the way to go. Last year Summerhill Florists did all of the floral arrangements and bouquets for a wedding we photographed in Banff Alberta and the flowers were absolutely amazing. They were beautiful and fresh and exactly what the bride wanted. The flowers made the wedding photos absolutely gorgeous.

I have been giving and receiving flowers from Summerhill Florist for a number of years now. I have never been disappointed. They are always fresh, bright and beautiful. Every single bouquet, arrangement, centre piece, and styling I've purchased or received as gift-has lasted a minimum of seven days. They are also very reasonably priced, and always more than willing to work with in your allowed budget. Wonderful group of ladies.

The main Lady is very kind for sure, but her supposed daughter hannah is a total bag. She has THE worst customer service I've ever had to deal with, just plain miserable. Also, it's a hit and miss with the flowers. They're usually dead by the time they get delivered to the people I have them sent to. And if they have not died by the time they get there, they're typically dead within the day. It's very disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this place at all. Much better flowers to be made elsewhere.

My dad had just had heart surgery a little while ago and our friends sent us some flowers through this company. When the gentleman arrived to drop off the flowers he so kindly offered to shovel our sidewalk after hearing about my dad! What a sweetheart! Even the lady who I had spoken to on the phone was a gem. Hubby bought me flowers (roses and lilies) for my 50th birthday, they were beautiful. We followed all the directions, cutting the ends off the flower stems and using the package of powder in the water. Within 4 days over half of the roses were dead and yesterday, exactly one week from when they were bought, the rest were completely dead! Even the flowers I buy from the grocery store last longer!

I only had a few things in mind and the rest was up to her. I told her I wanted a big bouquet with sunflowers. The bouquet turned out amazing and was a major highlight of my wedding! To all of those that have not used Summerhill Florist for any of there private functions or even to say I love you on your wife's birthday, I feel sorry for you. I live in Airdrie, and so often have on occasion needed to send flowers to friends and family in in the area. I found Summerhill Florist through our breakfast group and took a gamble...and I've been coming back regularly ever since because your prices are reasonable, your product fresh, and when I had to call once (for a special request), Colette with whom I spoke was kind, helpful, professional, and efficient. Shopping sight-unseen can be kind of a pain (not to mention an opportunity to get ripped off!), but with Summerhill Florist, I'm confident that I'm doing good business with a good company. Thanks! Very disappointed with this bouquet, For $169 i would have thought it would of been a more substantial bouquet ! If i had been in town i could have gotten better from Sobeys and then gone for a nice meal with my wife and still had change. When I was in university, I worked for a very successful florist in Calgary. I didn't think another shop could produce the same quality we did, but I have been proven wrong. Summerhill provides some of the best quality and reasonably priced products I have ever seen. I wouldn't order for anyone else. Sent these to cheer up a friend. Just beautiful.

Was really disappointed - Received flowers and what we got for what we paid for was disappointing. Half of the flowers were dead, there was more greenery that flowers - an abundant amount - and unfortunately the arrangement didn't even last a week! We sent an email to them expressing our dissapointment and never heard back. Overall not happy and will not be ordering from them again.

I have had deliveries from this florist probably 4 or 5 times and I have asked my family to stop using them as I don't particularly like their arrangements. I received one for my birthday yesterday and the roses were wilted as they had not been put into the oasis. They were sitting loose among the other flowers. I placed them into the oasis and added fresh water but today they are dead : (

My boyfriend and I went to order his mother flowers for her birthday from here. The selection we picked out were beautiful and the vase was his favorite part, it being a football. We had set a delivery date being the day of her birthday. They delivered it the day prior and the flowers were all dead. They then sent someone to pick them up and properly deliver the flowers the day they were supposed to be the first time. They were the wrong flowers delivered the second time. To say the least, we will not be getting flowers from here again.

On Wednesday, July 15, 2020 through the recommendation of someone that lives in Airdrie I ordered flowers from Summerhill Florist limited for my daughter’s birthday (She lives in Airdrie) A little note here… I order flowers regularly for my home in Ontario as well as order flowers for Out-of-town family and friends and have never been disappointed. I personally called Summerhill Florist Limited to place my order, my only request was no carnations and I informed her I was leaving it to her design (I already viewed her website and Facebook and was happy with what I saw ....Please note I always order my flowers this way) we decided on a price and it came to $115.50. The sales person said they would send me a photo of the arrangement. Photo 1 is the original photo she sent me.... I was shocked that was not $115.50 arrangement. I called the florist and explain I was not happy with the arrangement… I got the excuse that flowers are far more expensive in Alberta than they are in Ontario or BC. She said that she would at her cost add more flowers and as you can see from Photo 2 all she added was two Stems of daisies .... still not worth $115.50, please check out her web page and view the price of other arrangement and you will understand why I am very upset. My poor daughter received this arrangement and after we talked she was shocked how much I paid for that arrangement (I was embarrassed and asked her if flowers were expensive in Alberta and that I would resend another nicer arrangement) she reassured me that I was ripped off and not to worry .... she uses another florist in town and got this incredible gorgeous arrangement that included roses all high-end flowers from her husband and he informed me he only paid $80.00 I contacted my regular florist and sent her the photos, she was absolutely shocked to the point she even called some of her florist friends in Calgary to confirm if prices were indeed higher and was this arrangement worth $115.00 and they said way way over priced And what was the florist thinking. This is my experience with Summerhill Florist Ltd .... Please tread carefully before ordering Heather Taylor

I have used this florist before and loved them. The flowers have been fantastic. The past two orders have been disappointing. Lassig year bought tulips they were closed, was told they would open never did. Never got a reply from them. Before I ordered flowers this time I emailed asking how the tulips were no response. I ordered a basket of flowers for Mother’s Day for one more chance, two broken flowers and a wilted one as well. Not worth the time to send a email mentioning it. It’s a shame

However my review will be overall 3 out of 5 because the flowers were delivered to the wrong address, which was listed on both the confirmation email and on the card or the recipient, and I had to get a friend grab them and take them to the right address.

She not only replaced the dead ones, she also replaced them with more expensive ones at no charge. Excellent customer service. Especially because I killed them apparently! Haha. Don't use this florist you will over pay for everything! Spent $55 on a coresag for my daughter's graduation and it didn't even last an hour into the night. I called the next morning to explain what happened and told them I would come in Tuesday the next day they where open for business for a refund......when I went in they offered me a 50% credit! $25 credit really!!! Horrible customer service!!
