Although the website didn't offer a "notes" section so that I could input any additional information, the customer service line was very efficient at ensuring my order was placed promptly and efficiently :)

1) My boyfriend ordered flowers in April 2015 from Red Rose Florist. I work in an office tower, and instead of phoning my boyfriend who had ordered them, they phoned me (?!), two days prior to the scheduled delivery, to ask me "to clarify the address and ask what floor I was on, as I had a floral delivery scheduled"! I had no idea flowers were coming and they ruined the surprise. It was a funny story, but unprofessional and sloppy of the business. In addition, the lady on the phone sounded annoyed / frustrated about the address, as if it was our fault for not giving her the floor number (which isn't required...) 2) Boyfriend ordered flowers again in April 2016 from Red Rose Florist. I questioned why he used them again, but last year the flowers were gorgeous even though the delivery was frustrating. This year, it was a $72 bouquet and the main aspect in the photo was a gorgeous yellow lily (or lily-type flower). It was the "Spring Surprise" upgraded 'Deluxe' bouquet. When they arrived, some of the filler was quite droopy, but the rest looked okay. Then after 4 days, 5 purple irises never opened / never bloomed and ended up dried up and crusty. The roses wilted quickly. Most of the bouquet started to droop. I was changing the water daily and topping with fresh water, too! However... I brought the bouquet back to the store, and they freshened it up for me, including giving me new irises. I was happy they agreed to switch out the flowers that did not bloom.

She went way over the top to help us and helped us pick the perfect flowers (my buddy was buying for his wife as well) I found the prices very reasonable and the flowers were excellent. The staff was friendly enough... But I can't use this service ever again. I buy flowers once a year for mothers day. I didn't have time to pick some up this year so I decided to order an arrangement from them online. The flowers costed $80 and the delivery charge was $20. I spent a hundred dollars on this "premium" arrangement and what my mother received were wilted flowers. My mother deserves more than a pile of leftovers.

I don't even know where to start. Today I received a call from these guys looking for my coworker. Apparently they had a delivery for her which was going to be late so they just wanted to inform her and check her schedule while clarifying directions. The whole point of a valentines delivery is to surprise the recipient. Instead of calling her husband to clarify any changes they call her instead and ruin the whole surprise. Way to ruin a valentines surprise guys. Stay classy and ruin more special occasions. I bet you guys do this on purpose and laugh like maniacs while rolling around in money and pools of blood from all the hearts you helped break. I hope your next subway sandwich is soggy

My daughter received her first ever bouquet of roses last week, ordered by her boyfriend who is stationed overseas. 1. The roses were supposed to be for Valentine's Day. Her boyfriend ordered them 10 days in advance. They arrived a day late, the day after Valentine's Day. 2. Now, mistakes happen, and the shop did deliver a box of chocolates as an apology, also. However, the quality was very poor. The roses were not fresh. One was already almost dead. Several others had drooping bottom petals. Within three days, four others were dead after never really opening. Today, only four days after the roses were delivered, there are only five roses left that didn't have to be thrown out. Even the baby's breath is already dropping, and that usually lasts a long time. How disappointing for a girl's first bouquet of roses. This shop will certainly never get my business.

Nice sales staff and selection at store, but every time we've ordered online or by phone - the flowers are wilted, the roses have 6 or 7 bruised petals, a shoot will only be 6 inches long as if discarded from another arrangement. This mothers day the stems were rotten on the bottom. Disappointing.

Wish there was a zero star! Their voicemail is full most likely because they didn't deliver multiple orders they were supposed to today! I stayed at work 2.45 hours and missed my dinner reservation awaiting the arrangement and teddy bear my father sent me as a Valentine's gift. Very disappointed as my sisters also wasn't delivered. They didn't even place a call to my father they just didn't show up. He is so upset which makes me sad since he was trying to surprise us and do something sweet for his daughters.

Ordered around 1pm, and delivered around 4:30pm, which was phenomenal. Everywhere else said it would be tomorrow, or an extra fee. Free delivery in Calgary, which is even better. Only reason it isn't a 5, is that they included the wrong balloon with the order (happy birthday, instead of a red heart) so the recipient almost didn't accept the balloons, thinking they weren't hers. Will definitely order from this store again, though.

I order flowers online for a coworker & his family, who 's grandma had past away. Flowers were to be delivered to their home the next day after I ordered. My coworker's cell phone number & address was provided on the order and I also included my cell number. I assumed the order was fulfilled as I got no phone call from Red Rose Florist. It wasn't until 5 days after the scheduled delivery that I saw my co-worker and asked if he received any flower that we figured out Red Rose Florist did not deliver any flowers. We both did not receive any phone call, I got no emails from Red Rose telling me if they had any issues. I checked my credit card and they did get paid. When I called Red Rose the lady was impatient on the phone and when she realised Red Rose made a mistake there was no sincere apology. I requested an immediate refund and am still waiting to see it go through on my credit card statement. To me this was unethical business behaviour as they willingly knew they did not complete the order and did not correct this mistake by issuing a refund immediately they waited to see if the customer would notice... I would never give them my business again.

The fastest delivery I've ever seen! I ordered these online on a Friday afternoon (between 1.30pm and 2:00pm) for same day delivery (which is FREE). They were delivered within 1.5 hours. You cannot beat that. Also the flowers were beautiful, so I'm told :)

I feel so bad about this flower store. I told them I need 49 tulips put them together and design it. And I want them to put my words on it. I told them almost three weeks before delivery date. They didn’t do anything. The flower even still not open yet. The funny thing is they didn’t forget to put their advertise on the top of the flower. Can you guys be more professional? I was just so disappointed. I won’t buy flower from this store anymore. This store is terrible.

Valentine's Day Failure... Until the flowers arrived. AMAZING FLOWERS! They delivered only the chocolates and balloon... So my girlfriends texts me asking me if it was me. As their was no card. It totally ruined my surprise. I could rant about how busy they are but I understand. Every time they put me on hold, another receptionist would answer and ask how I may help you. Then I'd have to explain the name and everything all over again. Not my fault that they don't communicate with each other. They should have a better system. They are literally giving me crap that I was talking to all their employees. Its not my fault you put me on hold and another one of you answered and asked me can I help you... Ridiculous. Plus they should have made sure the whole order was delivered to begin with... I think their delivery system sucks. Communication errors big time. You should be confirming the whole order has been delivered before driving off to the next stop. What a gong show... Last time I get flowers delivered. Just ruined the whole aspect... UPDATE- It's now been four hours since the balloon and chocolates have been delivered. Still no flowers. I'll update when or if they do get delivered. Any longer and I will be canceling this order and asking for my money back. The flowers arrived late but they were the most beautiful flowers my girlfriend ever did see.

I don't write many reviews, or leave feedback very often for businesses. However, I have to say that I had a wonderful experience with Red Rose Florist this morning. I had a terrible experience ordering funeral flowers through 1-800-Flowers. Just terrible. So, I decided to call a local florist who was located near the funeral home. (For context, I am in the U.S. and was ordering flowers for a funeral in Calgary, AB, Canada). I found an arrangement that I liked on the Red Rose Florist website and called the number. The woman I spoke with, Janna, was incredibly helpful and so kind. The process of ordering flowers for the funeral was so easy that I thought I didn't give her enough information. She said she would call the funeral home on my behalf and arrange the delivery so that the flowers would be there before the service started. The final moments on the phone with Janna were so touching, as she expressed sincere sympathy for my loss. I was overcome with emotion, and so appreciative that she acknowledged my pain. That is real, true customer service with a personal touch. Thank You.

My boyfriend ordered me a beautiful rose arrangement and teddy bear yesterday for valentines and specifically told them they need to be delivered by 3 pm. He called them around 2 pm as I still had not received any flowers and they told him they could not promise they would be delivered so he cancelled the order and wanted a refund. Well here it is the day after Valentines and guess what shows up at my work. The roses that I was suppose to get on Valentines... $160.00 later and a day late, I DO NOT WANT THESE FLOWERS NOW! I have tried to call Red Rose 10 + times and of course no answer and the mailbox is full. I will be hand delivering these back to them after work and will not be leaving until they refund the money. AVOID THIS PLACE! While the arrangement is beautiful you cannot just drop off flowers that are quite expensive after someone has cancelled the order and expect them to pay it ***UPDATE** IN RESPONSE TO THE OWNERS REPLY - WHAT A JOKE , I DID NOT GET TO KEEP MY FLOWERS. INSTEAD I HAD TO WASTE MORE TIME AND FUEL TO DRIVE ALL THE WAY FROM THE SOUTH TO RED ROSE TO DELIVER THE ROSES BACK AS MARGE TOLD ME THAT WAS THE ONLY WAY I WOULD RECEIVE A FULL REFUND. We have been waiting all day long for the delivery and nothing came home. Really gutted on the feeling. Spent 75 dollars n no flowers been delivered after all. I ordered some valentines flowers for delivery on Feb 14 2013. These guys left the flowers with the neighbor and never updated the recipient with a call. They however did leave a sticker notice at the side of the door. Since the recipient has a front entrance garage, they never thought of checking the door for any notice. The flowers were later received on Feb 15 2013..... Not being able to receive the flowers on time for such a special occasional really undermines the value and trust of this vendor. I spoke to the manager, Barry, who is only available at 7 AM. He was rude and suggested it was my fault and did not provide any compensation. Reading reviews on Yelp, there are other customers who had experienced the same issue. I WILL NEVER BRING MY BUSINESS BACK HERE AGAIN.

Emailed the shop (I'm in UK so unable to call) and they came straight back to me and offered to send out more flowers with missing balloon and also included a box of chocolates as way of an apology. When I called them about it, the lady had no intentions on trying to rectify the situation. I asked for a refund, she acted like it was a problem. I receiver 3 red roses at the price of $57.00. I order all the time from this florist - I usually opt for the designer's choice as it always comes out well. All recipients have been pleased. I usually phone in and chat with someone rather than ordering on line. This florist also does flowers for work events where I work and they are lovely. I recently placed a special funeral order and substituted a bunch of different flowers from the photo on the website and the arrangement was EXACTLY what I wanted. I could not have expected better for my first time ordering flowers for someone online!! I ordered this arrangement at 2PM on a Thursday and they arrived by 7PM that same day with free shipping! That is service you simply cannot beat! The arrangement is also one of the most gorgeous I’ve ever seen and my crush loved them! Ordered flowers for mothers day and the entire experience was terrible!! Our flowers were awful and extremely disappointing. We ordered them online and received a call saying we would not get the flowers we ordered for the price that was online because they under charged the arrangement that was online. I was told I would get beautiful flowers once the mix up was solved which they knew was their mistake but instead I got lousy and small bud roses compared to what the online photo showed. I understand the online picture can never be guaranteed but these were seriously bad. They threw in 4 regular size rose buds and the rest were super tiny. I added a few photos of the online image and the actual one we got and you can clearly see the size difference and the half fast job of an arrangement we were delieverd. Anyone could have done a better job arranging this bouquet. I would highly recommend others who will be ordering from here in the future to really look around for other florist shops!!!

Amazing Apology....great customer service! My husband ordered flowers for my birthday from around the world but it didn't arrive until very late. It was supposed to arrive by 11 am but it still didn't arrive until evening. It was very disappointing and stressful. I had to keep calling them as I had an event to go to and I didn't want to miss it. Next week, they sent me a wonderful bouquet of flowers arranged by Helen as an apology for the stressful delivery. My mum ordered 40 pink and white carnations to be delivered to me at work on my 40th birthday almost two weeks ago. She asked for them to be delivered before noon but they didn’t arrive until almost 3pm. While they were pretty, they weren’t fresh. Many were browning around the edges of the petals upon arrival. She ordered carnations instead of roses because they last much, much longer, but these flowers were looking very sad by the one week mark and most had to be thrown out. Flowers from Safeway are better quality. My mum also asked them to attach a card, but all they included was a poorly printed (had ink streaks through it) piece of folded up white paper. I am extremely disappointed with my birthday flowers from Red Rose Florist.

I've always ordered flowers for Mother's Day for my mom in Calgary as I'm in Vancouver. This is the worst experience. The flower is okay but way smaller and less impressive than the 60+ dollars i paid. I ordered a "I love you" ballon and it was not delivered. Will not order here again.

I really love it here this was my 1st time I did it for my mom and my Boyfriends mom and they both loved what they got. I really love how they call before comeing to drop it all off. They even call if there is somthing wrong as in I put a date for after Mothers Day because that the closes that I can get to the date but they called me before and we worked it out where they can do it for me and I will get it a day before. This is the single WORST company I have had the misfortune of ordering through, ever. Never in my life have I been treated so discourteously.... I had ordered a $150 bouquet of flowers for my lovely fiancee for valentines day only for them not to arrive! They arrived 3pm the next day!!!!!! Upon calling the Red Rose Florist, all I got was a rude old lady who refused to so much as apologise. I have offered the management countless opportunities to apologise and right their wrong but instead, they chose to tell me this is not their problem. Well I'm sorry - it is. If a customer chooses you to help them send flowers, I would sincerely hope you understand that it is just that, a choice, a choice based upon trust, that you will deliver flowers on time as you've promised especially as you have charged them an extra $25 to do so. They say they've been in business for 33 years... the only experience I can attribute this to is from the old lady on the end of the phone who is very experienced in being rude! AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

I wasn't sure how to order the flowers on-line because I wanted them delivered to the church before the funeral service. I called Red Rose Florist after finding an arrangement I liked on their website. The lady was extremely helpful. I gave her all the information and she said she would call the church to make sure the arrangement was delivered before the service started. The arrangement was beautiful, bigger than I expected. Ordered flowers to be delivered on valintines day to my fiancé . Need less to say she never got them. Called them on the 15th the next day and no answer . Machine said to leave a message and then told me mail box in full! I'm assuming I'm not the only one who had an issue with this company . Considering this was our first valintines as an engaged couple this company sure made me look like a fool. Placed an order on a sunday for valentines day (Wednesday) also called if they would be able to send it before 10am and told me to place a special request in the request box. Called in on Wednesday after 10 for a status and lady named marge picked up the phone and just said there is no status and then dropped the phone. So rude! I know its a busy day but if you can’t handle the pressure let somebody do your job. Its supposed to be a big day for people but you ruined it for then. The flowrrs came in late and the recepient has left already. Worst place for special occasions!

If I could give less I would. Horrible experience. My boyfriend bought me flowers that were supposed to come before 2pm February 13th (because Valentine’s Day was super busy) They never showed up so WE had to call them to ask why they weren’t there. They asked as to wait 25 minutes as the roads were bad. But the roads weren’t bad. Another 25 minutes pass and still no flowers. So again, WE have to contact THEM. They ask us to wait another 20 minutes. Unacceptable and super unprofessional.

The week prior to Mother's Day I ordered flowers to be delivered to the cemetery where my mother is buried. I live out of the country. They took all the information and I was specific as to where the flowers should be delivered (the cemetery has more than one building), and to whom she they should deliver it to. The flowers went to the wrong building. The were not placed on Mother's Day as I had hoped. In making several calls I found out the flowers were delivered to the wrong building after all and had a completely different name on order. Nothing remotely close to my mom's name. More phone calls and a promise for the manager to call me back. No follow up by the manager or the employee who took my order in the first place. I will make more phone calls today. If you are ordering flowers from this place, be sure you have someone to tell you at the other end if they arrived. In this case my siblings knew I had ordered the flowers and let me know. Otherwise there is no follow up. Mountain View Cemetery also does not follow up and they will be my next review and phone call. Tuesday after Mother's Day I have finally gotten someone at the florist to "care" and they agreed to refund the money..

My boyfriend bought me flowers as a surprise and I was on the my phone so I missed when they rang my buzzer on the other line. I called the lady back after 3 mins and she said it was too late the driver was gone. I've had surprise deliveries before where someone called me and said they had a delivery and if I would be home while not specifying what it was and I thought this worked well. This time the lady said right away it was a flower delivery (ruining the surprise) and that I could schedule to get them the next day, which was really disappointing. We called back three times saying I was home all day and if they could redeliver them because I will be gone the next day. They managed to get someone to come back at the end of the day after a lot of fighting for what was supposed to be a nice surprise. The flowers themselves were very beautiful but they died after two days. If I got them the day after like they had planned, I think they would have already been wilting.

I ordered the standard size Graceful Embrace for my mom's birthday, which, according to the description on the website 'create an enchanting display in a stone pot'. It arrived at 6 PM in a plastic container. Part of the reason I got this one was because I really liked the look of the pot. Customer service says they would've put in more flowers to make up for the difference in price, but honestly it still looks the same as the one shown on the website and not the deluxe size ... I'm not that impressed. Will not order from here again :(

Horrible customer service. People on the phone rude, inconsiderate, and blame you for their mistakes. Was told flowers would be delivered by 1 and when they weren’t we both didn’t receive a phone call (why even ask for your number then?) and they weren’t delivered until the next day and no longer a birthday surprise. She was home to receive them so not sure how hard the driver really tried or maybe lied and delivered late when she had already left to go out for dinner. I had to call the store multiple times to follow up myself, if I hadn’t who knows they might not have been delivered at all. Don’t waste your time or money, there’s lots of other flower companies in Calgary who take pride in their work and understand your probably ordering them for a certain occasion and delivery is an important aspect of the service your providing.

I ordered what I thought would be a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my mother for her birthday. There was a deal on the website for a bouquet valued at $99.95 for $49.95. The picture looked beautiful and had an assortment of flowers including lilies which are one of my moms favorite. What I got was pretty but no where near what I paid for. The bouquet was small and there was no lilies, barley any greenery. I could have gotten this for $25.00 at my local grocery store. When my mother sent me pictures I was left feeling embarrassed. I called the store to let them know. I sent them pictures and everything they asked for and then was completely disregarded and ignored. I was never rude, I just asked that they either gave me new flowers or refund me my money. They did not answer or return any of my calls or respond to any of my emails. What kind of company does that?? That is not only childish but EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! I would recommend anyone to shop elsewhere but if you do shop here and especially if you order online, I would highly suggest checking in with whomever you are sending the flowers to and verify what you are paying for. This company is taking advantage of clients and ripping them off and then not taking responsibility for it when caught.This is not how you treat people, especially customers. Unbeknownst to us, our friend was on vacation and the basket couldn't be delivered for several days... Not to mention the address we had was difficult to find. Red Rose Florist couldn't have been nicer about the situation and waited for our friend to return. Incredibly, they made a brand new fresh basket. If that isn't customer service at it's best, we don't know what is!!! Our friend called us to say it was the nicest basket of the freshest fruit that he had ever received. He said he will now be using this florist from now on. I wish Red Rose Florist was in NY. Thank You Red Rose for making helping us to make a dear friend very happy. You guys are THE BEST!!!!! I came into the store to buy some flowers yesterday with my boyfriend for a gift for someone else and it was an amazing experience. We were well taken care of and well accommodated. Donna and Moureen went above and beyond to make sure the bouquet looked perfect. They made sure the flowers were fresh and decorated the vase with such nice ribbon. The flowers were lacklustre, with half of them not even bloomed or opened, and looking wilted. It doesn't look much like what was advertised on the website, it doesn't even have the same flowers. I went for the deluxe option rather than standard to avoid a small bouquet but that didn't really change it. Spent $80 and I don't feel that I received my money's worth.

Went in to get a bouquet for my wifes birthday. I selected a mix of tulips and roses and asked if they could be put together in a bouquet with some greenery/baby's breath. I was handed a lovely wrapped paper package. When they were opened the roses and the tulips had simply had had their plastic removed and stuffed together, no arrangement, no greenery and they hadn't even bothered trimming the bottoms to make them the same/similar length. This place is literally 2 blocks north of safeway, I went there as it was my wifes birthday and I thought they might be nicer. I was wrong. Go to safeway, comparable flowers, better pricing and the girls actually will do an arrangement. Terrible will not use again.

Price does not match quality. This is a fairly pricy florist and since it’s for my mom’s birthday I would rather spend more than less for good quality flowers. Though flowers were delivered on time upon request, the flower arrangement is, to be frank, quite hideous. It looks like it was arranged by a first timer with very little knowledge and aesthetics, for sure not the work of a professional/experienced florist. Real thing does not match the picture on their website at all. I am very disappointed.

Really disappointed with them... Person who lies like that should never work in such a beautiful industry. I will make sure she will be punished for the lie to the customer. Her name is Beckie. So i ordered flowers for my mother to deliver them to the hospital. I was told they can be delivered in the hospital with no problems, that was the main reason i ordered flowers. Next morning Beckie calls me and tells that "they tried deliver it there but flowers were not accepted in this department in the hospital". Then i asked if they tried to leave flowers to receptionist and she said yes. 2 reasons that Beckie is lier and Red rose florist loosing clients because of her: 1) I called hospital and receptionist told me that nobody came with flowers today and they ARE ALLOWED in the hospital. 2) Couple hours later i called back red rose to ask about my delivery and honest woman answered the phone, she told me that delivery was NEVER sent yet because the bouquet i ordered online from different site was discontinued 6 months ago. But "honest" Beckie told me that they tried delivery it to the hospital but it did not work. Will never ever do business with them because of that reason and will tell all my friends and family.

My experienced with Red Rose Florist / Ted Brookes Flowers it was VERY BAD & UP SAD ME. I decided to order flowers online for my wife as surprise for our 18 years anniversary. I had my flowers upgraded to premium, paying almost $200 for flowers what my wife have received is mostly green leaf and mostly unbloomed flowers. Also I purchased online in the morning around 10:30am, when around 3:25pm afternoon I called in to find out what is my status of my delivery, and the lady that answer my phone saying my flowers STILL being design. Seriously, after 5 hours flowers still being design? What a bunch of BS. Anyway, delivery address supposed to my wife's work, and the lady told me they CANNOT GUARANTEE if they can make it by 5pm, I said to the lady, this is our 18 years anniversary and I want to surprise her by sending my wife a flowers, then the lady told me I SHOULD call in and let them know flowers need to be at address in such time. At the end they have to called my wife saying that I have ordered flower for her, asking my wife where did she want the flower deliver to, work or home, if work is not guarantee before 5pm which my wife is off by 5pm, so my wife told them to home. By the time my wife received her "surprise" flowers 5 minutes after 6 evening. TOTALLY DISSAPPOINTED, I WILL NEVER ORDER THROUGH YOU AGAIN....

Don't rely on this company if the delivery time is important to you. I would have given a 5 for the flowers but when: a) You state on your website that orders placed before 3pm local time can be delivered the same day b) The order confirmation confirms that you met that deadline (only by 20 minutes but the delivery address was just a few blocks from the store) c) Nobody calls or emails you to tell you they can't meet that date. Then I think you have a right to be disappointed with the service. As it happens our daughter was literally just leaving the house the following day when the flowers were finally delivered. Had they been 5 minutes later ... If you can't meet advertised claims then at least have the decency to contact people so they can make other arrangements or alternate delivery arrangements. Several reviews here have similar complaints - guess this business doesn't learn - but I have and will not use them again.

A lady named Becky called around 12:40PM and asked if they weren't able to make it today, would they be able to do it tomorrow. Terrible. For 12 years my wife recieved flowers from me on Valentine's day, up until I made the mistake of choosing this failure of a floral business to handle things... I even called them out of concern at 6pm to make sure they were going to be able to come through, to which I was assured that they were on the way. Well they never showed up and their incompetence resulted in my wife's disappointment. On a florists most important day you failed in the worst possible way. Consumer beware, this poorly run business Will let you down.

I would give a six star review if I could, I ordered a bouquet for my grandmother weeks ago, to be delivered to the hospital, however, given that she was in ICU, she was unable to receive them so the florist called and explained that they would hold off until she was out of that unit. She ended up staying in the unit longer than anticipated, however, somehow, before I even knew she was out, Red Rose Florist did, and the beautiful bouquet was delivered. Sent my wife flowers. First off i was promised a certain time to be deliverd by It did not happend. After spending $60 on this arrangment found that the cup the provided was a dollar store cup. My wife decided to dress it up her own style which cost under $1 and made it look much better. Would not reccomend this flower shop for delivery.

Beware! First off, the website guarantees your delivery on the day requested. My delivery never arrived on day requested, I was not notified, it was for a sympathy for a loss. It was important to arrive the day requested. My sister received a call late that evening, saying it would arrive next day. My sister (in grief) had to call them twice the next day and they promised and never showed up. Messing up her day in the midst of tragedy. Finally she had to go out at 545pm she leaves holding off as long as possible. I wrote the florist for two days with no response asking where are the flowers. Finally I call the florist. No customer service - nothing but arguments from the florist owner and Manager and excuses how busy they are and they can’t handle the amount of orders. No apology just arguments and excuses. Promised that I would get my money back as ordered no longer wanted as not delivered. Checked my visa today and owner lied and took out the amount for flowers. Now onto to Visa and warnings to all!!!!!! Never use this company

My boyfriend ordered and paid for flowers on February 13 to be delivered that day. The day before Valentine's Day. They said they would be delivered between 6-8. They were not delivered. The next day he called and asked when they were going to be delivered. They said the arrangement is on the truck right now, it will be delivered today. We cannot say a time for sure as it is Valentine's day but they will be delivered today. They were not delivered. He called once at 8pm and waited on hold for 40 minutes. Then when they finally answered they said that they are being delivered. He called them back right before they closed at 10 and they said they are still being delivered. They said they are on the truck and no matter what they will be delivered tonight. This was supposed to be a surprise for me but he had to give me a heads up that flowers were being delivered that night. So i'm up waiting at 11pm for someone to deliver flowers. WHO delivers flowers at 11 o'clock at night. So no flowers showed up despite me waiting up for the flowers. Fast forward to the next day, he calls again. They said the delivery guy was there just before 11, he knocked and no one answered. I purposely stayed up and watched for flowers to be delivered. No one knocked on my door. So eventually, TWO days late, the flowers show up in the middle of the day. A day after Valentine's day I got my flowers. He paid good money for these, to get flowers delivered 2 days later and terrible customer service. Do not get your flowers from this shop. You'll regret it.

Worst customer service I've probably ever received especially when my boyfriend who lives out of the country attempted to surprise me with flowers- in which they completely ruined as they called ME to confirm my address rather than him. They continued to get the delivery address incorrect in which they never actually delivered and I had to drive 35 minutes to pick them up myself otherwise I would have had to wait another full day. Lady in the store was beyond rude, argued with me, lied and changed her story regarding the attempt to deliver and refused to refund the delivery fee. I do NOT recommend this florist especially having heard of other peoples negative feedback about this place too. However, the only good thing I'll mention is that my 6 white roses were beautiful.

This place has the worst customer service. I put in an order on Feb. 14th to be delivered on the 19th. A week goes past and the delivery has never happened. I get a call from them yesterday saying that the house is out of town and that they need to charge me an extra $25. I was horrified! You mean to tell me that you haven't even delivered the flowers that were scheduled for the 19th and now you also want to charge me extra? The location is actually on the city limit and not outside. But not once during this call do they say sorry for not delivering the flowers. All she said is that they didn't get the order in their system until now - 4 days past when it was supposed to go out. And she insisted it was not her fault. She was so rude and did nothing to try to even erect the situation. Funny how the Valentines orders must have gone through but this sympathy flower order got lost in transaction. Knowing that this shop has this bad of customer service I would never want them delivering flowers to someone I know. Will never order from here. Not reliable at all and shouldn't even be in the customer service industry. If I could give them 0 stars I would.

Aweful unethical Customer service. Arranged to have a plant delivered to my sister July 2nd. Received a guarantee to deliver confirmation, and still had not heard from my sister on receipt of the "Gift". I finally caved and asked her about it July 4th when she told me someone called to let her know they needed to redeliver... She provided her work address and still no delivery despite redirecting. I finally wrote them an email and was told I quote "a second delivery would entail a charge for re delivery...I told them I wish someo e had contacted me with regard to the same and was told a phone call was made... I did not access the voicemail left go en I was at work. And did not have time during business hours to answer personal calls from unknown callers. No email was sent to me either given failed attempts at contact..... Consequently I told them I would like to cancel 2/2 not wanting it sent anymore given the special occasion had passed and I had to order an alternate gift and pay for expedited shipping.. the Lady had the gaul to ask for a redelivery fee or 50% refund retain. Which I disputed.......I emailed them again with regard to options to redeliver and provide refunds I have yet to revive any intimation or refund.... Not sure how this business ethic is condoned given no product was delivered and neither was any monies returned...be it in part or full. I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE NOT USING A COMPANY SUCH AS THIS WHICH LIES AND DOES NOT PRIDE ITSELF IN CUSTOMERSERVICE . In the end the product was not delivered both sender and intended recipient unsatisfied and no refund received.. Thievery at its best..

My wedding was this past saturday and I used red rose florists for the centerpiece flowers and the bouquets for the girls and I. Overall I am quite happy, Sue is SO nice and super helpful. The only thing that I would say for the future, please inform clients that hydrangeas die quickly in heat. We did our photos before our ceremony and the girls flowers were wilted and dead an hour into photos so for three ceremony they were completely limp.

Liars and terrible customer service. I ordered flowers for same-day deliver on a Friday. The flowers did not show up and did not receive a call. I called on Monday (3 days later) asking why they didn't they didn't deliver and I was told by a lady that my friend asked for the flowers to be delivered on Monday. This was a complete lie because they just called her 5 minutes prior to schedule the delivery. When I called again, they did not apologise for lying or offer any reason why the flowers were not delivered. I will not be ordering any flowers from here again!

I have had them call me twice asking who is doing my flowers for my wedding and twice I informed them that they were doing my flowers (a sign that shows that I should have gone with someone else). Upon speaking with management about having 2 less bouquets than ordered, we were informed that even though they made the mistake, we are expected to pay for it and that my father in law has to wait for them to fix there mistake. This is not a problem that any bride wants to deal with on their wedding day, especially when their venue is outside of Calgary. I will defently not be suggesting this florist to anyone and will ensure I tell everyone I know NOT to go with this company unless they wish to have their order messed up and an unexpected expense on the day of their wedding.

Red Rose Florist is simply amazing. My boyfriend orders me flowers from here, and I am always in awe. The arrangements are beautifully done, and you can tell there has been time and effort put into them. Unfortunately, my bf once ordered online through a website based out of Niagra Falls that gets their orders sent to Red Rose florist. He had ordered orange Lillies and they were delivered to me completely shut without a vase ( him assuming their would be one). To be honest, I was sad and disappointed because I know how beautiful the flowers usually are. That being said, I shot an email to Red Rose letting them know how I felt. Within a half an hour, a lady by the name of Janna contacted me and asked how she could make it better, and informed me that my bf was ordering from a website that wasn't directly theirs, that Red Rose didn't technically have control over. Janna went out of her way, arranged a new bouquet for me and sent it to my work that afternoon with a box of chocolates. She always contacted my boyfriend and let him know where and how to order in the future if he had any questions or concerns. We were SO amazed by Janas professionalism and service. The offer to send another bouquet of flowers and turnaround time was incredible. Red Rose has now gained a life long customer! Our loyalty will always be with Red Rose, no matter the occasion. My sweet husband ordered flowers to be delivered to me on Valentine’s day and they just never showed up. When he tried calling in the evening, not only was there nobody to answer the phone, but the voicemail was full. This is our local flower shop and for several years we have been steady customers (for various occasions). I often left the store chuckling at how rude some of the employees were, but generally speaking was happy with the product. However, after this experience, it’s safe to say we will be ordering our flowers elsewhere going forward - isn’t Valentine’s Day *THE* day a flower shop needs to ‘get it right’?!? Yikes

I was not informed the flowers wouldn't be delivered, and the phone line to the store rang busy when I tried to call a few times over the hour before close.

Red rose florist was super accommodating and friendly and had no problem delivering on a short notice. My friend got the flowers and was super surprised. I had a very poor experience with Red Rose Florist today. I placed an order at 4:07pm (23 minutes before same day delivery cut off time) to have the flowers delivered to my girlfriend at work. I got a call from them at 5:45 saying that they won’t be able to deliver the flowers today as my order came in after 4:30pm. How can that be possible if I made the order at 4:07pm. Okay, nevermind that. I called back to have the flowers delivered on Sunday instead. The lady I spoke to on the phone could not find my order in the system. She finally found the order and assured me that they’ll deliver on Sunday. Except the order was not mine, and I didn’t learn about this until she read out the address and it wasn’t mine. I immediately asked for a refund and the lady didn’t know how how to cancel the order and issue a refund. I asked for a manager who then got me my refund. I told her about my experience and there was a lack of sympathy from her which made me want to write this review. Don’t buy flowers from here, they probably suck too.

Called from Texas to get flowers for a funeral in Calgary the following day. (1st call was to a different shop with lots of ratings but got nervous when they had no idea where church was and didn't sound interested). So I called RED ROSE based on the Google reviews and sure glad I did, they were great, I spoke with AMBER. While we were on phone she checked to confirm service time and found out order had to get there today. Amber took care of details 100% as we had to rush slightly to meet the churches delivery requirements for this afternoon. Glad I called Amber and Red Rose and recommend them highly.

Ordered online on a Sunday around 10 am for same day delivery. After reading a few reviews I called them and made sure that it would be delivered today before 5 pm and they actually were able to deliver the flowers before 4. The lady on the phone was professional and accommodating. The flowers looked nice and so did the vase. It’s a bit pricey but the whole process was just smooth with no hiccups.

I received flowers yesterday for Valentines Day, and when I received them half of them looked dead, there was only half of some flowers. They left them on the front door step not wrapped, and never phoned me, so I am unsure of how long they sat outside. I have tried to call them, and no one answers the phone. I would never order flowers from them ever again, and would not recommend this florist to anyone.

Do not recommend. My boyfriend ordered flowers for Valentines Day to surprise me at work. They didn't deliver it on time and my work place is only one block away from this store. Instead until 2pm they arrived after 3pm. My boyfriend was very upset and disappointed when I came back home without flowers.
