I recently purchased two boutonnieres and a flower for my dog's collar from Opal. Her suggestions were great! She even had the wrap on the bottom of the boutonnieres match my suit and suggested that my dog's flower be silk instead. This is literally a mom and pop shop and you should go there.

These amazing people who provide some of the best customer service I have yet to experience will ensure that what ever occasion you may have that would require their services will be remembered. The arrangement they did for my wife's birthday actually brought a tear to her eye. If you are asking me that is a job well done. I WILL be utilizing their services again, and will be hard pressed to get flowers from anywhere else. 10/10 5 star service. Wanted balloons for my boyfriends birthday a couple weeks ago and was super impressed with the flower shop. She listened and made a cute arrangement that is still going! Some sort of additive makes them pretty much never deflate. His birthday was January 9th and the photo is from 10 days ago - only the foil one has started to sink since. Only reason the balloons haven’t lasted is because he thinks it’s hilarious to pop them and scare me. The flowers look beautiful from here too. Not the place I thought of first for balloons but 10/10 recommend here!

Since first shopping there to get roses, for my then girlfriend to get her roses while we were dating. I have always been impressed with the longevity and quality of the flowers I get from Opal's. Sure I'm paying a little bit more, but so what? The crap I got from elsewhere got me into the doghouse rather than the bedroom. I don't know exactly what they do to the flowers there, but I've always been impressed and so has my wife. And frankly, she's worth it.

Went in to have some flowers ordered for my wife. Nice people, however I was going to order a 110.00 bouquet and upgraded the vase to crystal 35.00, then she charged me 30.00 delivery because it was downtown... I was about to pay and she was going to charge me more to pay with my credit card rather than debit....that was enough... Cancelled the order went to my truck and found another florist online and for just under 100.00 it included the same mix of flowers, delivery and an upgraded vase. Credit card service fees are the cost to do business and 30.00 delivery is about double of what I paid online. So the bouquet I ordered online was 59.99 plus upgrade of 14.99 plus delivery 13.99+ gst total 93.41.

I ordered these to be delivered to a friend in Edmonton and was very pleased with the service and quality of the product. The order was able to be placed online easily and was delivered on the day and time requested. Beautiful arrangement and reasonably priced.

Ordered our wedding bouquet and boutonniere from this shop. We asked for a blue rose bouquet with white rose accents and greenery. The boutonniere was ordered as a white rose with greenery. My wife had sent emails to the florist and both were understanding of what my wife expected. The day before our wedding I go to pick up our flowers and the bouquet is a cupcake style arrangement with blue roses circled by white roses. This was not at all what we asked for, so I requested the bouquet be rearranged. The florist complied with my request. To add insult to injury, the boutonniere we ordered and paid for was non existent. Again the florist compiled and arranged the bouquet and boutonniere to my specifications, but the time to rearrange both arrangements took forever and delayed me picking up the wedding cake and other supplies for the wedding next day. The rearranged bouquet was better but still a little off what my wife wanted. Lastly the florist said the roses would last for up to a week after the wedding if kept in water; they did not, they started drying out after only three days...

Yet I've NEVER had a bad experience or been sold low quality flower ( like cheap Safeway flowers ) OPAL always has the highest quality and a large variety of FRESH FLOWER , ARTIFICIAL FLOWER'S and she's even got EVER LASTIN FLOWER'S too! Or if your looking for more of a unique gift that always delivers that wow factor, check out her huge! selection of balloons. A balloon bouquet always adds that perfect touch that makes its extra special or given on their own witch is always a beautiful, unique, thoughtfull suprise for any occasion. I placed an order from Ontario and I wanted to send the love of my life something special on his birthday. I had a special request..I wanted to send him a single flower, but also a cupcake on his birthday. Baked goods aren't something that Opal's normally does, but I asked if she could please go buy a single cupcake to include it with the flower. Opal not only did that, but she went above and beyond with packaging it so special, and even adding a happy birthday candle without me even asking❤ They delivered it out within the time frame of before my baby was going to work, and despite him not answering his phone for 30 mins... the delivery driver was so lovely and patient, and they made sure he got his special delivery. Opal made his birthday so special by going above and beyond, and I would 100% recommend this flower shop to anybody in the Edmonton area. Thank you again????????so so much.

I just wanted to leave this review to show a huge amount of respect and thanks not only to the business for taking an order from Ontario and delivering it on my birthday, but most of all to Darren, the delivery driver. I unfortunately had my phone on silent and as this was a surprise I had no idea to expect anything, and when I finally got around to checking my phone to see how long longer I could lay in bed before work, I notice he’s been trying to reach me for a HALF HOUR. I panicked and called the business instead of him and she said “yes there’s a delivery for you from a special someone who thinks you’re super special!!” And I ran down and he greeted me with the biggest smile, glowing with positivity and zero malice for having to wait for so long (especially with the weather) and I just have so much appreciation for someone who can withstand waiting that long for someone and still just be so positive and professional. This is the first time I have ever used this flower shop and I have to say she is friendly and definitely professional and she knows her stuff. The flowers are beautiful and full. Out of the 20 flower shops I've ever used by far she is the one that has the freshest flowers that are both blooming and full in size. The price that she charges is very decent not even expensive. I have no problems paying for quality. I recommend this flower shop if you want professional quality bouquets and arent cheap on your budget. This place is an absolute rip off. I got six roses and some babies breath and spent over a hundred dollars. The owner also calculated the GST wrong because they don’t have a till and use a calculator and tried charging me an extra 4 dollars for nothing. I honestly would not recommend this place to anyone.

I went today to opals to purchase some flowers for my mom. I said I would like to spend around 30.00 all said and done I paid 90.00. I brought them to my mom and cut them as requested. A couple hours later 2 flowers were dead. I’m very disappointed in spending that much and not getting to enjoy them even for a day .

Ordered flowers for my wifes birthday. The lady never check the online orders so they where never delivered. The lady was willing to deliver them when my wife gets home at 11pm, which was a nice gesture but not what I wanted. Make sure if you do an online order you call to confirm the order so this does not happen to you.

I have purchased in the past and have been satisfied. My Christmas indoor bouquet was very long lasting. I bought it the beginning of December and it lasted through Christmas. I have purchased "sight unseen" and the recipient has phoned me to say it was beautiful. That makes it worth it. Will never order from there again they charged my mother in law 180$ for a funeral arrangement that had 3 white roses and maybe a dozen carnations she did order a crystal cross that was an extra 35$ but there was only maybe 20 dollars in flowers SHAME ON YOU for taking advantage of people. Here is the picture of the 180$ funeral arrangement. Please note they said free delivery and the cross was 35$........so ask me this is there $145 worth of flowers. When I went in to complain the lady said there was a 35$ delivery charge.....so ask me this is there even $110 worth of flowers here. I want feedback please also i would like this flower shop to make it right and message me to apologize or give her a nice flower arrangement or a credit for next time. I will keep editing and making sure it gets reposted

Spoke with Manager. No balloons, no chocolates, no stuffed animals. Paid extra and was told I would get a refund. Also paid twice for delivery and was told I would be refunded the second delivery fee. Also, no card was added which was a huge oversight. Arrangements are beautiful. But you also forgot to include flower "food" packs with the order. At the end of the day I am disappointed with OPAL Flowers Edmonton. Did not deliver on what was promised. I am going to register a dispute with BMO as I did not get what I paid for.
