Flower Chix has twice now delivered great service, quality, creativity, and value for me when ordering flowers for loved ones. Despite being extremely busy right when they opened, they took my call and gave great service on short notice. A same day arrangement was perfect for my mom's birthday. They even added personalized touches in the arrangement which referenced my message without me asking. It was creative and thoughtful. And the flowers last beautifully! Though it might cost a little more than a large chain shop, it is definitely worth it for the drastic difference in quality and service. Support this shop! We need more businesses like it!

Didn't have the best experience with customer service from Flower Chix. When ordering online there wasn't an option for a delivery time but assumed the flowers would be delivered at a reasonable time of day as all other experiences with flower deliveries they usually arrive around 12pm -1pm ( i guess my mistake for assuming this). I never received an update email or phone call to let me know when they would arrive and by 330 I was worried they wouldn't come. The flowers were being delivered to an office that closes at 5pm. I contacted Flower Chix to ask if they had an update if the order had been completed and when they would arrive and the lady told me she didn't know ... even though she never asked for my order # or my name. When I then told her the info she told me the flowers would be there for around 4pm. She continued to say " We have been very busy today with funeral orders that are a higher priority to your order so it will arrive when the delivery guy gets there!" I did not find that to be an appropriate response and not the greatest customer service with no actual apology.. maybe if I would have received a phone call or email indicating a delay in delivery time I would have been understanding but nothing. When i mentioned to them that the lady the flowers were for had already left for the day she just said " Thats fine just give them to her tomorrow!" but the thing is she was getting married and would be away for the next 2 weeks.... she then told me "Well can't you just deliver them to her house?" She may be a co worker but we are not best friends so I didn't know where she lives. I didn't pay for delivery for me to deliver them to her myself. We had planned a nice office send off for her but had to do it with no flowers. I understand the flowers were eventually delivered at 415 pm and they were pretty but the surprise and overall affect of having flowers delivered to say Congratulations to someone for their wedding doesn't have the same affect when you have to deliver them yourself.

Tash and her wonderful staff at Flower Chix were professional, helpful, insightful, and kind. I was not quite sure what I envisioned for our small, rustic wedding in Kananaskis, Alberta. I knew I wanted to look like I had collected wild flowers on my way to the ceremony - something bright, rustic, green, and natural. The Flower Chix staff read my mind! I was surprised with a beautiful arrangement of snapdragons, sunflowers, ferns, and a collection of many other beautiful flowers. The flower crown I requested had pieces from the bouquet in a halo of green. My MOH (my younger sister) hairpiece was beautiful and easily went into hair without much trouble. The boutonnieres were masculine and again, had pieces from the bouquet on them. The arrangement worked perfectly and I could not have been happier. Thank you Flower Chix! Ordered a $130 bouquet for my sisters birthday. Asked for sunflowers add ons like wheat and dried grasses and fall colours. Wooden box for them to be in like shown on website. Received literally 6 sunflowers and a couple green leaves in a black plastic vase. super disappointed that none of the instructions were followed and it cost me that much. Had my sister not sent me a photo they would’ve just taken my money. Eventually got a refund, but still will not be shopping with them again.

Tash is wonderful to work with and I would work with her again anytime! We had to organize our wedding from Germany so we could not come by for a consultation beforehand. No problem for Tash - she suggested a Skype consultation right away and we used email to exchange more pictures and ideas later on. We were on a set budget and Tash made sure to stick to it by suggesting to mix in some more affordable flowers still matching our wedding colours (the bridesmaid dresses were in a specific shade of coral pink, but the flowers still matched perfectly). Very disappointed. I have used Funky Petals/Flower Chix for the last several years for many occasions and they always made fun unique arrangements. This valentines day the arrangement they created was absolutely unremarkable and even more so considering how much I paid for it. I was extremely disappointed by the quality I come to expect from them. I paid $65 for a tiny "bouquet" in a mug which consisted of 2 flowers, one rose and one gerber daisy and green filler leaves. After consultations and waiting almost two weeks for a quote, I was told that they could no longer do my wedding flowers for my summer wedding, and that my wedding date was now fully booked. I understand that vendors are busy, but I’m just disappointed that my time was wasted. All the bouquets also came in mason jars which were very handy as we just put them in the jars on the tables for extra decor during the reception rather than just laying them down on the tables. When my wife passed away in end March we had to hurriedly arrange a funeral for these new times. The daughter of one of my good friends contacted Flower Chix and made all the arrangements on my behalf. Some things were hard to get but Monique had everything ready for the day for my friend to pick up and take to the Funeral Home and for the Graveside service later. It was a beautiful day in Calgary and the flowers were all I could have asked for. The service was excellent and all the grandchildren (10) each had a flower they could place on the casket together with the special secret notes they had worked on during the week to leave for "Grandma." Ordered a succulent arrange arrangement (70$) for my daughter in a lovely container and it was nice, however the bowl was heavily watered before delivery. It only lasted about 10 days - these plants should live a long time - they can’t survive being overwatered. It appears whoever is working there doesn’t know what they are doing. I wrote my complaint online, but got no response. I thought at least they should at least replace the 3 succulents that were in the bowl, as they are not expensive. Will not use them again.

I ordered flowers from Flower Chix to get delivered as a nice gesture, I paid over $100 for a bouquet and left it in their hands to pick out something Intimate for me since they were the “professionals”. When we received the flowers they were very plain and not what I was hoping for at all. A coworker described the flowers as “funeral flowers” because they looked so drab. Frustrated with the outcome I tried calling Monique the manager to get a different bouquet so we could handle it internally rather then write a public review and she said she would handle the situation but it’s been two days and I haven’t heard back from anyone since. When paying over $100 for flowers you’d expect getting good service along with quality flowers which is not what we received with them. I will not be returning to this flower shop in which we were very disappointed and I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else.

On June 4th 2021 my thoughtful friend sent me flowers as a kind gesture after tragically losing my beloved 13 year old pet. Flower Chix called me at 12:04 PM the same day confirming my address and asked me if I would be home between the hours of 1PM and 5PM that day which I advised yes I would be. They said a delivery person would come between those hours and they asked me for my phone number and I also provided my condo buzzer number. 5PM comes and goes and at 5:20PM after no answer through phone calls and leaving a voicemail I message Flower Chix on Facebook advising that I am still waiting. This is starting to stress me out and making me feel like I am trapped in my house. I am already very upset about losing my pet and don't want this extra stress. I message my friend about the no show and she felt so terrible as she wanted to make my day by sending me these flowers, not ruin it by making me feel held hostage in my home by a delivery. Close to 6PM Flower Chix replies to my Facebook message saying "We are closed now but there are still deliveries out there". I replied " Ok is the delivery time between 1-5 or 1-6?" as maybe I misheard although I know I was told 1 and 5. I still never received a reply to that Facebook message, nor the voicemail I left them. I did receive the flowers though, at 7PM on the dot, two hours after promised delivery time. The delivery person called me and said your flowers are here, ok, thanks bye bye. No apology or mention about the tardiness. They also did not wait for me to come down to the lobby to collect the flowers, instead they left them behind the unlocked door where anyone could have opened the door and took them. I would not recommend this flower company to anyone due to the lateness and unprofessionalism. They've also had 48 hours to reply to a voicemail and Facebook message and have not. During a really awful time in my life they really only made things worse. To the owner's reply: If you cannot guarantee your delivery times and deliveries can be made up to 2 hours outside of what was advised on a phone call then why don't you just say that in the first place? I can understand 15-30 mis late but 2 hours is extreme. Why was there no option to leave the flowers behind the locked door? Why was I required to be home? Many other companies buzz me and I let them in so they can leave their packages behind the secured doors. You also state you had replied after hours on Friday knowing the delivery "had" been made...no, you did not. You replied on Facebook at 6PM. The delivery was not made until 7PM. It's almost like you didn't read my review at all. I am not hearing any accountability on your side, just that if a person orders flowers from you to be home for a 6 hour time frame or spend more money.

We ordered a floral arrangement by phone from Ontario to be delivered to a family member in Calgary. The online order process was simple, and the selection Flower Chix offers on their web sight is amazing. Being a senior, I'm not a fan of online shopping; I preferred to call and speak to the staff directly, The florist staff were very helpful, the service was excellent, and the recipient was delighted with the arrangement. I would definitely recommend this florist.

BUYER BEWARE....Five days ago, I came home to a lovely vase of flowers from my daughter, left on my front porch when I was out. Within a day, part of the arrangement started to wilt so I cut the stems and refreshed the water. Within another two days, the whole arrangement was wilted and in terrible condition. I couldn't call yesterday, Sunday, so I called today and was instructed to send in photos which I did. The owner, Monique, just called back. Not a good experience. She advised me that there was a 48 hour window to make a complaint and that we were beyond that. I gave her ample opportunities to replace the bouquet. I explained the circumstances and time frame and reminded her that my daughter was a repeat customer. She finally offered me an in-store credit but by that time, my taste for this business was completely gone and I would never want to shop there based on her argumentativeness and lack of customer service. Our family will no longer shop there. I've been around...I've ordered and received flowers often. I have never had this kind of experience before. Florists in the past have always been eager to resolve issues. This was unusual and unpleasant and difficult and could have been so easily resolved by Monique. Another lost customer....

Kristine was quick to connect with me to let me know that they had sold out of my preferred plant that I ordered. She recommended a different one (which ended up being nicer than the initial one). We had a little issue getting in touch with the recipient to have it delivered, but Kristine was determined to make sure that the plant made it to its new home. POOR QUALITY FLOWERS, EVEN POORER CUSTOMER SERVICE I’ve struggled trying to decide what to say about my experience with this company. I received some flowers from Flower Chix for my birthday. The flowers I received did not seem overly fresh, with some broke and hanging foliage and some browning already on the roses. I got my delivery at 3:45pm over the course of the evening the flowers seemed to lose their luster rapidly with browning, crinkling and the sunflowers that had been added for an extra fee were losing petal, to the point there were now gaps. They reminded me of 4-day old grocery store flowers not fresh $100 selection from a florist. In the morning I called the company as the card they attached advised you to do so if there was any quality issues stating that they work very hard for Customer satisfaction is of the utmost importance as well as providing the BEST customer service. The response I received when I called was completely opposite of those 2 statements. Firstly the owner Monique answered the phone, when I advised why I was calling her tone completely changed and she stated she would have someone call me back in 10 mins, nearly an hour later it was herself who called me back (I instantly thought this was strange). I expressed concerns regarding the quality of the flowers, how they looked, the gaps due to petal loss. Again, in a very unhappy/irritated tone requested I send her some photos of the flowers. So, I did. Then I was called back. The conversation was an absolutely horrible experience, the owner argued with me for over 15 minutes, being extremely antagonistic, telling me I was a liar and that the pictures I had sent her of the brown roses, broken foliage, sunflowers with bare patches were absolutely beautiful! I know my camera optimizes photos, but nothing hid the poor quality of these flowers! After advising her I no longer wanted to participate in a conversation where I was being treated so abysmally with zero apology, zero belief, told that my reality was incorrect and with her years of experience these flowers were gorgeous she offered 3 ways to resolve – I could bring back the flowers to be replaced, She would send me a handheld bunch the next business day, not the same flowers that were chosen or paid for but cheaper ones (carnations and daisies) as I obviously didn’t like the flowers and THAT was the issue. I asked her again why she continued to argue with me regarding the flowers even though I had sent her photos proving what I was saying and with her providing a card that stated customer satisfaction was so important she was not treating me in a very respectful manner. Due to being immobile from a sever back condition (which I made her aware of) I went with having replacement flowers delivered but requested to have the ones that had been chosen sent to me not the cheap ones she had said. Well Monday came and I did not receive the notification call to check I would be home for delivery, so I called the place again and was then advised that she had in fact changed her mind and I had 3 options 1. Bring the flowers to the store and she would replace the ones that needed it (the whole bouquet) 2. A 50% refund 3. Come and collect a $50 gift card. I was totally shocked! With how things had gone I went with the 50% refund which I still believe should have been 100%! Did I mention for a $100 bouquet these flowers were in a plastic vase! Monique argued back and forth with me on that again and told me to smash it on the ground to see. I am still dismayed by the actions of the owner of this business and her treatment of a customer who was hoping to find a new flower provider. All in all, an extremely disappointing first and last experience with this company. I wouldn’t advise anyone to purchase flowers from here and go to a company with better policies and morals that they stick to!
