Not only does this place have epic flowers that last much longer than the average flower store, they also have amazing gifts you can grab too. I have bought my parents a few anniversary gifts from here. They even have custom jewelry!!! I have redecorated my house with cute wall hangings and décor. This is a must stop and shop for presents as well as flowers. I have never had a bad experience and the staff are always friendly and willing to go the extra mile!

Whenever we need to send flowers, this is the shop we ALWAYS go to! Michelle does exquisite arrangements and the flowers are so fresh! Our most recent purchase has lasted 8 days already and still looks vibrant! Sadly my photos don't do the arrangement justice, the photo colours are washed out but you can get an idea of the arrangement, varieties and different sizes of flowers in the composition. You won't go wrong using this shop!

I placed an order for a bouquet of fresh flowers, I showed them the picture and color theme I had in mind. they charged me beforehand and when I went to pick up the flowers, they gave me a loosely bundled bunch of withered brownish flowers that were not in good shape and neither in the color theme that I had asked for. Also for all the flowers they changed and fixed they charged me extra. This is more of a mediocre gift shop than a flower shop. also the flowers selection was really poor and limited. After edit: I know the sanded roses, they were OK but still not fresh. The brownish flowers were not a type of rose, they were other types and literally withered. At the end I ended up paying 75$ for a really small bouquet that did not look fresh. If you like I can post pictures of the bouquet that I wanted next to what I got.

Kim and the staff are MAGNIFICENT; they helped our Creative Director put together an AMAZING bouquet and helped replicate the enchanted rose from "Beauty & the Beast" for his proposal! Absolutely stunning floral arrangement, delivered on time and much more beautiful than I imagined. This florist doesn’t skimp on quality and clearly takes pride in their craft. You know how sometimes you order something online based on the photo, but when you get it, it’s disappointing and not quite as nice as the photo looked? This florist is the complete opposite. I based my purchase on the online photo, and it was even more beautiful than I expected. Just WOW. I’m very impressed and will definitely order again.

I've been buying flowers for my mom from deer valley for about 8 years straight. They have her favorite colors and preferences on file. The staff is always wonderful and very knowledgeable. The quality of flowers always out weighs the cost. I see them about twice a year. And in 8 years, I have yet to have a bad experience. Yes, the price is a bit more, but for me, and my purposes, absolutely worth it.

I was looking for something more masculine with more plants versus flowers and had lots of options. LOVE this place. I decided to pop in last minute to pickup some flowers for a Birthday gift. They did not have enough lilies out front so I asked if they happened to have more in the back. THEY DID! Kim was fantastic with working within our budget and our vision. 2 weeks before the wedding me and my husband completely changed our centrepieces and Kim just went with the flow and said okay lets do it! The wedding day came and OMG my flowers were stunning!!! Everything was labelled and super easy to figure out and the bouquets were gorgeous. I had little pictures dangling off my bouquet for the grandparents that couldn't be there and she made them hang exactly how I wanted over my hand. We decided to go to deer valley florist after reading reviews on Google. We thought we were going to have a good experience. But it turned into a very stressful situation. We were having a small wedding so we didn't have a big order. Although there was no minimum purchase, we were treated like last priority. They would reply to my emails a week later and ask me to wait since they're busy with another wedding. And once they would reply it seemed like they didn't even read my email!! We had to find another florist since I wasn't even sure I was going to have any flowers for my wedding which was very stressful since I thought we found our florist and stopped looking!! Also, the bouquet they put together as a sample was nothing like the picture I showed them. I'd suggest going somewhere else if you don't have a big order or if you want a unique bouquet.

But no matter what, the customer service here is always top notch and regardless of why you walked in, you walk out taken care of and your interaction with staff brightens your day. Don't really deserve 1 star !!! But Im thinking maybe it was a new hire w/ no experience that did the arrangement for my mothers funeral on Monday January 14, 2019. It didn't even look close to what I ordered and paid $160 American $$ !!!! Looked like something a 2 yr old made for Mothers Day???? I live in Huntington Beach, Ca.and was not able to attend due to my own health issues. It was very important to me that I made a positive influence on the funeral service since I wasn't there in person. Instead I ended up extremely embarrassed that my name was on that floral arrangement !! They gave me a credit of $25. Lol !!!! MINIMAL flowers .... Just unopened buds....lots of green ... Looked like rabbit food !!!! It was Funeral !!! Not a birthday !!! U want flowers NOW... not in a week. That's like a Bride asking for her BOUQUET to be all fresh unopened buds because she wants them to open and look beautiful when she's gone on her Honeymoon and can't see them. DUH !! Lol They can keep their $25 ..... Can't go back and be proud of what I had sent from California to Calgary. ???? Deer Valley Florist has sensational customer service, they went above and beyond for me during the pandemic and my friend fighting cancer in the hospital. I ordered flowers from them and they called the hospital everyday to see if today was they day they would accept them. Unfortunately, the hospital would not accept them and turned the delivery away when we tried to send them anyways. Michelle was great and only charged me for the delivery charge and to be fair I was absolutely ok with that after everything they did for me. I would highly recommend them as I have ordered from them previously as well, there arrangements are beautiful.

Deer Valley Florists know how to make up a beautiful arrangement which included the nice touch of adding a key on a chain around the vase. Kim, Michelle, and the Deer Valley Florist team created the most beautiful bouquets, boutonnières, and centerpieces for my June 2018 wedding! They were great to deal with, providing many options to fit my budget, allowing me to supply my own vases (hello savings!), and delivering and setting up the centerpieces at my venue. I was indecisive throughout the process but they came through on a tight timeline with the most stunning arrangements. Nothing feels better than having perfect flowers show up on the morning of your wedding! I'd recommend Deer Valley Florist for any event flowers you need. I was initially going to get my flowers through Costco to save money but there is no way I would have been able to put together the arrangements they did. Many other florists have a minimum spend and require that they are the only ones to provide flowers for your wedding. Deer Valley Florist was flexible with no minimum spend and extra rules. They are punctual and true professionals!

A few years ago they got a new owner, and I remember being devestated that it sold, however, the new owner is simply amazing. The new owner did keep some of the staff, which I am so thankful. Michelle has been putting all of my arrangements together for years now. Even including my wedding bouquet. She is so beyond talented! My experience with this lovely little shop was wonderful. They provided the bouquets and boutonnieres for my wedding on August 11. We had a small backyard ceremony, so ours was not a large order, however after a few phone calls this one was the first shop that treated it with the same importance as a large one. I met with Kim, who was very helpful, and while I did not have a specific criteria, she took what I gave her and provided us with the most beautiful bouquets, exeeding my expectations. And at a very competitive price. I also must add that I still have them as they’ve held up very well! To top it off, as our wedding was just outside of town, they enquired of us if we’d like delivery. I’m used to being gouged for deliveries to where we live, so was pleasantly surprised that the cost was very reasonable. It made it so much more convenient than having someone go get them. Edit - very disappointed with the response. I posted photos of the card and what was supposed to be a pastel arrangement. AND - they flagged the photos I posted and had them removed! Unbelievable. So I have reposted them. I have used this florist for years (both for personal occasions as well as corporate ones), and referred many people to them. I had always been very happy. I recently had a very disappointing experience that has soured me, and I won't go back. My sister (who lives out of town) wanted to send flowers for my mom's milestone birthday. I recommended Deer Valley Florist, and she called and asked for an arrangement with lilies and pastel colours. The arrangement that arrived was decidedly dark, with red roses, dark orange alstroemeria, dark purple snapdragons that were so dry they were almost crunchy, and white lilies that were mostly hidden among the rest of the flowers. The arrangement was very poorly put together. The card was also a huge disappointment - special was spelled "spacial" and it was not hand-written. My sister was crushed when she saw a picture - she spent more than $100, and she really wanted our mom to feel special since she couldn't be here in person. When she contacted the florist, their suggested solution for flowers that were a GIFT with paid delivery sent by someone who lives out of town, was for them to be returned to the store so it could be fixed. When she said that wasn't an option, they offered a $25 credit on her account. I am so disappointed, and will be on the hunt for a new florist for next time!
