Very friendly and great to work with. I've only ordered over the phone as my mom lives in Lethbridge. The first arrangement I ordered had an orchid with a fragrance, which my mom is very sensitive to. She called Funky Petals letting them know, and they made up a new arrangement for her right away. They are the only florist I order through in Lethbridge.

They saved the day! I called in from Calgary on my Grandma's birthday because I clean forgot to order anything in advance. Where other flower shops in town told me they didn't know if they would be able to deliver it same day, Chelsa (sp) not only had it there perfectly on time, but she asked all sorts of questions about favourite flowers, colours, and made sure that it was perfect before sending it out. When one of the main flowers (a special orchid to compliment the colours of the arrangement) was not available, I received a friendly call to ask my permission about replacing it with another type of orchid instead of simply automatically doing this. I hired funky petals for my wedding venue flowers October 6 and was extremely disappointed in what they did I arranged to have 12 centerpieces 11 guest tables for dinner and one at my guestbook table. Then a large length of greenery across my head table. My centerpieces were awful they had four five tiny pieces of greens around my cylinder candles which should of been full wreath style all the way around the candles with flowers. the flowers looked like why were already dying and half the tables never even had a flower on them the head table was done nice but it looked as if they just plopped it on there instead of fluffing it out to look nice my bridesmaids had to cut pieces from the head table to try and make my guest tables look somewhat acceptable. When I emailed them to explain my problems they placed the blame on be for starting my reception “early” we opened the doors at 4:50 pm it was scheduled for 5pm they had already left the venue long before this. But it’s my fault they didn’t do it properly the first time they had just over 2 hours to do anything they needed to do. They also tried to tell me they gave me more then what I asked for by placing greenery on my guest book table something I had already paid for I also only ended up with 10 total guest tables.... They then tried to tell me that I said I was on a budget I paid 849.00 and asked and clarified before the wedding that I was getting what the pictures I sent them had they confirmed. I even upgraded and added to my price to make sure my head table was thick and full because the picture they sent me was not what I wanted. I made it very clear what I wanted and they confirmed I was getting just that. They compensated me a total of $76.00 as they felt they did a good job. I would not recommend this company. I had received many other quotes for my flowers from others and they all came pretty close in price for the same thing I went with funky petals because my venue recommended they do exceptional work....

I came upon this shop more by happenstance then by plan. And am I ever glad I did. The staff show an amazing amount of caring, knowledge and assistance. Not really knowing what I wanted, I described what I was after in terms of emotions and thoughts and general overall feelings. They offered assistance and ideas but yet waited for me to decide on what it was I felt was best for what I was looking for. I asked them for advice on the meaning of certain flowers and colours and arrangements and they were more than happy to assist me and guide me so that the choices I made we’re educated choices. I’ve dealt with Funky Petals over the phone on numerous occasions and the experience has been nothing but top shelf and total class. The pricing is very reasonable and negotiable. I Highly recommend this business. Lethbridge should be proud that this business chooses to operate within the city.
