They are famous for smoked salmon, but they also have the best fresh salmon we've ever had. The smoked salmon bits are a steal for just ten bucks for a decent sized package. Actually all prices were very reasonable. All my questions were answered immediately. I ordered online and it was delivered the next day. I'll definitely be ordering again.

Excellent products. We really like the cold smoke products. Much better than getting the frozen smoked salmon from the grocery store. Much better than Kristapsons smoked salmon and more reasonably priced and more varieties. The beet and horseradish and the scotch smoked are fantastic. It is something we have been ordering for a while as it is consistently better than the other smoked salmons out there and priced well.

Highly recommend to anyone looking for convenient and amazing quality products delivered to your door ???????? I was a honestly a little apprehensive about ordering seafood online but after trying out their products I am so happy I gave The Smoke Bloke a try. I also loved the fact that I get a phone call 10 minutes ahead of time to ensure that someone is available to pick up the order from the porch as soon as it is made. I ordered their signature cold-smoked salmon, maple-chilli flavoured candied salmon pieces and a 3-lb raw salmon side. Highly recommend trying those three products. The raw fish wasn’t smelly or slimy (like what I am normally used to finding in grocery stores in Toronto ????) — instead It was clean, properly descaled, well packaged and tasted fresh. The smoked salmon was also smooth and very tasty. I will honestly be making another order very soon.

My search for a great smoked salmon has ended at The Smoke Bloke. Forget the rest, could never eat the supermarket frozen stuff and the gourmet versions like Krispatson's, Pusateri, Caviar Direct, etc. are fine, but none have that fleshy, oily and firm texture of a great cold smoked fillet as well as the beautifully brined and salted, slightly sweet and smoked flavor when you bite into it. Also you can't beat the service and convenience with next day delivery (or almost) and the personalized way Mike treats his customers is Michelin 3 stars!

THE BEST and freshest smoked salmon you can find in Toronto. Quality you can taste - also LOVE that don't use any artificial additives/preservatives/colours/liquid smoke. Gravlax and Cracked Pepper Smoked Salmon are our favourites - the texture is silky and smooth and melts in your mouth. Beet and Horseradish one is beautiful if you are doing a platter/board.

This is the best salmon I've ever had. Smoky flavor and amazing texture! I always enjoy a bagel sandwich, hand roll and salad....it makes me happy all that time. My co workers became big fans of his salmon. Also Mike is a very nice person and helped people donate food and money during the pandemic even though he lost regular clients. So far the freshest smoked salmon I could find in Toronto. Really dialed in recipes and just the right amount of smoking for each recipe makes the most of the good quality raw material used. While the classical recipe is probably the most versatile, make sure you try: - the Scottish (hints of vanilla suggest optimal curing. Perfect on it's own paired with citra/mosaic IPA or prosecco) - the gravlax (the very light smoking lets the salmon and dill tastes prevail, complemented by a very soft texture... Seemingly melts in your mouth!) I suggest you order a little of everything. I get it with no-contact delivery, and a phone call a few minutes before arrival is really helpful. Customer support is really attentive, just ask them anything.

Coming from the UK I was lucky to enjoy amazing Scottish smoked salmon. Since living in Canada for over 30 years this is the first time that I have found a source that equals my UK experience. Not only does Mike and the Smoke Bloke have an excellent selection of smoked fish but it is also their superb customer service. Absolutely terrific. I ordered 4 kinds of their fish for a Father's Day brunch and not only were all of them terrific(I'd particularly recommend the hot smoked black cod and pastrami salmon) but delivery was a snap and everything fairly priced. I'd say the Salmon Candy was a bit less candied than the stuff I've usually had but it was still very good. More like larger pieces of salmon with a light maple glaze.

I miss this guy dearly at the Montgomery Inn's Wednesday Farmer's Market. Please come back! The smoked salmon is on another level, and I used to go every Wednesday to pick more up. In March of 2020 I had a pregnancy craving and was bemoaning my favourite bagel place being closed due to the pandemic. I idly wondered if there was another way to get the amazing salmon they stocked… a few minutes of googling later I had placed an order and an addiction was born. Smoke bloke lox has been a staple in our home throughout the last two years of pandemic life, pregnancy and early parenthood. I am a lifelong smoked salmon lover and this is the best I’ve ever had. We always keep our freezer stocked with several packages and I am currently tucking in to what I think is at least our ninth order. We especially love the classic smoked salmon, dill gravlax and the beet cured. Our one year old is obsessed now too!
