Neeral Morzaria

Excellent fish and chips, made fresh. We had the haddock and the halibut, they were both very tasty. Take out options only, very well organized to keep everyone safe.

David Woods

In my opinion it's absolutely the very best Fish & Chios restaurant in the entire city of Toronto!!! Two of my children worked there for a few years. Great environment, friendly staff, clean establishment & the food in my opinion is a 10 out of 10!!! Its a family owned restaurant. Unfortunately it's closed due to the pandemic.

Henry

Always excellent fish, perfectly cooked chips. Service is friendly and efficient...they keep their high standards year after year...

Cod was pretty good but there were flies everywhere. Ended up not eating most of my fries after several kept landing. Waitress was great BUT the owner, sandy? Was horrifically rude to to her employee when another customer offered to better explain the new vaccine app. Was really shocked as the owner had repeatedly whined to other patrons that she had no idea what it was and where she was going to get special scanners to read QR Codes (hello? Ever heard of a cell phone?). I will find somewhere else to go. Employees don't deserve to be treated like that!

Chia P

Fish were fresh and not greasy, however I am a tad disappointed because they forgot our beverage in the order and there was no lemon- which I would argue is a staple for seafood dishes. Would recommend the halibut and onion rings, and upgraded fries to poutine :D edit: less stars for disappointing reply from owner lol. 1.) We called and asked to place the order and employee had said the drink was available. 2.) If it wasn't available, when we picked it up nobody said anything.. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Mahyar Moharer

Excellent fish and chips, just keep in mind its north American fries and not the British chips (wedges). The seafood platter was also tasty and the scallops were not over cooked like many other places. The bar side definitely has a pub feeling. The take out is on the other side of the building. Parking is a bit limited.

Tried olde Yorke Fish and chips after hitting the brewery nearby on a Saturday early evening and it was really busy. Customer service was great, our server was friendly and took the time to answer our questions. The fish was fried very well, battered, hot and not oily. I don't have fish and chips all that much so can't really compare it to other places. The piece of fish I got was not too big and I can definitely have another portion if I wanted to. See my halibut below with caesar salad.

One of the best fish & chips I've ever had. I've never been to England but I believe this is what fish & chips would taste like there. Most fish & chips "joints" make theirs greasy. There is minimal grease here. The fish taste really comes through. The chips are also first rate. Note the fish and chips are served in a container versus wrapped paper. Is it a big deal? No. Since this is a pub, I wish there was a location in the west end. This is the only thing I'm complaining about.

Garth Angus

Been here tens of times over years! Just the best fish and chips in town!

Mike Seto

Really fresh fish, Best fish and chips in Toronto, wonderful staff. I love this restaurant.

Leesa Soulja Gal

My absolute favorite spot for halibut n chips. Well worth the price and the employees are always friendly and super pleasant.

BK

This is one of the best Fish & Chip restaurant in the city. Located in Leaside, you can see a wait time on blue hair fridays. Also one of the few places you can get a pint of Tetleys beer to complement you deep fried goodness. I always look forward to having lunch there if I'm in the hood on business. The cod cheeks and thick cut fries was a treat.

Winnie M

I've been going to this place for 10+ years, and I've seen some changes - smaller portion sizes to no more complimentary table bread. That being said, it's still a proper Fish n' Chips joint, thick cut fries and flakey fish is what you'll find. I almost always order the haddock and chips with clam strips to start, but the cod is quite good as well. Parking is a bit limited, and it can get pretty busy around the lunch hour so be prepared to wait.

Virginia Tam

I was quite disappointed with this fish and chips. The chips were over cooked, dark, dry and hard. (Proof of over cooking) The fish was very slim and the batter was hard. The coleslaw needed to be creamier. I strongly suggest, that for one to enjoy PERFECT fish and chips, one should DEFINITELY try the fish and chips at " Captain George's Fish and Chips" in Port Perry. # 161 Queen Street, Port Perry, Ontario. That is Old-fashioned Fish and Chips...the authentic way, fish and chips must be prepared. BTW, coleslaw comes with their meal and the meal is reasonably priced, for such great quality.

Best fish and chips in town. Great family run establishment

Been here a few times and everytime absolutely amazing. Best fish and chips I've had hands down. Great friendly service and nice cozy vibe. Couldn't recommend more!

I'm so glad that I had my gallbladder removed so that I can eat here again! Seriously, we ate inside the restaurant for the first time in a year and a half and the food was still good and the service was friendly and efficient.

Conor Thompson

I don't know what magic was in the fish and chips yesterday (halibut), but it was the best fish and chips I have had in years. Thank you so much. Whomever was in the kitchen yesterday, praise be. Excellent. I am holding myself back from ordering tonight. I will pounce tomorrow! So incredibly delicious and perfectly fried. Also, great customer service. Professional.

Eric Ye

I’ve been there 3 times and enjoyed the taste, portion and the quality It is one of the best fish and chips meal I ever tried, will definitely go back again ????????????

Hailey Cheng

Very tasty Haddock fish - crunchy and juicy! Their accompanying tartar sauce is very good. The one order of haddock came with fries so we ordered a side of gravy, which was such a good decision. The gravy was just the right amount of thickness and was very tasty. Don't forget to try their key lime pies too - quite delicate in flavour and has a creamy texture with the right level of sweetness.

John Siriopoulos

Excellent British style fish and chips. Seal of approval from my British born family.

Mark Stevenson

Best fish & chips spot in Toronto! Only coleslaw I truly enjoy, fried clams are fantastic, and of course the fish is in point ????. They've got a great system for take-out now with COVID precautions in mind.

Bruno Dirksen Orlandi

Really good fish and chips! Love the takeaway setup - show up, order and pay, they give you a pager so you can wait in your car (and not in the cold!) and then go in and out safely to get you order. Fish was crisp and not really greasy meaning that they got it right. Highly recommended,

The fish is so good here. Our family bought it for my husband's birthday and even for takeout we could taste how fresh the fish was. The English style batter was so good as well. We are definitely coming by once or is open for dine in again :)

Eric Larsen

Amazing fish and chips. Sometimes the lines are a bit long but it's worth the wait.

Mark Sausedo

I ordered lunch from here today. The quality of the fish and fries was amazing. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for the tarter sauce. It seemed to be a little hard and dry at the top (possibly sitting without a lid on it?). Other than that, my experience was great and the staff is very friendly.

Righteous Bishop (RighteousDread)

They gave us a heads up on the halibut price mark up but failed to mention the decreased portion size. Been going here for years and its always a 5 star but stick to the haddock for 6 dollars less it’s twice the amount of fish.

Penny Ng

First time I had been there was 2006 and went there recently for take out. It is still the best fish and chip.

JJ Wong

The best fish and chips I’ve ever had in Toronto! Reminds me of the flavours I had back in the UK :)

Sass enach

This is definitely the best fish and chips I had in Toronto so far. The staff is so friendly and welcoming even during Covid restrictions. Their English style batter is so well done and tasty. Shrimps are great too! I tell everyone that likes fish and chips that this should be your "go to" place!

Farhad S

Best fish and chips in Toronto???? We got both the haddock and cod and both were great my personal favorite was the cod. We upgraded our chips to the poutine and it was great! Oh and get the key lime pie for dessert ????

I ordered the best Fish and Chips in my lifetime! ( Haddock & Chips ) Olde York Fish and Chips is a classic and cozy restaurant in Leaside Toronto, Steps from Eglinton and Laird Dr. also there is a TTC bus stop in front of it! Awesome quality, Portion was enough, taste and texture were amazing, price was very good, service was super fast, staffs were so nice ... P.S. it’s too busy for dining ... I like it so much. Highly recommended!

Magda Arent

Happened to stumble upon this place on a rainy day and what a gem of a find it was! Fish and chips were amazing! Love the thick fries that come along with a generous sized fish. The place is also so cozy and made me want to stay longer! Service was great and staff were very friendly. Already have plans to visit soon again!

Gina Pontikas

My favourite fish and chips place hands down the best fish and chips I have had in Toronto!!! I highly recommend it!!

R Morgan

Came here for brunch around 11am to avoid the lunch rush. Food was great, service was great! The battered fish was cooked perfectly. Only thing was my poutine cheese curds were still a little stiff, could've liked to have them hotter or melted a little more so I didn't have to chew them like gum.

Clam chowder soup was hearty and not filled with potatoes like some places. Got the cod fish and chips and weight watcher fish and chips. Food was fresh.

Amazing. Halibut and chips & Cod cheek and chips.

It’s always a pleasure to go for a weekend lunch of fish and chips with a side of mushy peas. Good portions, friendly service, decent prices. Take out is fast and easy.

Massimo Marotta

Absolute best fish in chips in the city. Pre-COVID it’s very difficult to get seating weekends and I’m sure it will be like that after 2021 as well! Friends and I did a fish and chip comparison a few years ago comparing some of the top rated fish / chip takeaway and Old Yorke won hands down!

5 STARS ???? ???? ???? ???? SUPER! --- Saturday April 27th 2019 @ 1830 HRS Had dinner here with the family in celebration of my Mom's birthday. Upon arrival there was a huge lineup which discouraged us but I have to say that I'm very impressed with all the staff. Each and every one of them are Rockstars to be able to get customers in and out of the place with minimal wait time is extremely impressive. We waited half hour. DO NOT BE DISCOURAGED BY THE LINE UP ~ THE STAFF GET CUSTOMERS COMING AND GOING. The food was fantastic ~ Halibut and Chips + the Fisherman's Platter. Fish was tasty and as expected. Judging by the staff and how they make you feel like home plus the super great food, atmosphere, it's no wonder this place is a favorite of the community. Congratulations to a super fantastic night. Most definitely recommend this place for family, friends and business associates.

Billy Hau

Amazing fish and chips, get there early, or place your order over the phone prior. Line-ups during covid are a little jammed.

Zach Bussey

Best crispy fish and chips batter and not greasy tasting.

Kevin Chow

Probably the best fish and chips I've ever had. The chips were amazing and the fish wasn't greasy at all. Malt vinegar on the fries.... yummy! First time here and will return for sure! Didn't try anything else but the menu looked great!

Sameer Lalji

Bought take out from this place. Excellent Fish and chips, Clam Chowder taste great. Good quality food.

Gary Tong

First time ordered after reading good reviews..and did not disappoint. Tried the halibut and cod (with chips), calamari and key lime pie. The fishes were fresh, not oily and taste great! Same for calamari and the pie. Called in on the way to pickup and provided estimated time of arrival. Instructions on parking/pickup process were clear, The orders were ready (still hot) when we got there. Definitely 5 star and will be back!

Chen Khang Puah

First time ordering takeout, this fish and chips restaurant is legendary. The owners are very organized, and very acutely aware of COVID safety for all of us. I ordered the NFLD cod and the Halibut. The cod is better in my opinion, thick cut good generous portion, moist and flaky. Halibut seems over rated. Ample of parking. Disappointed that there was no tartare sauce, and malted vinegar. Missing Cole slaw for the fish and chips combo. I will be back for seconds

Had the cod version and the halibut version. Halibut was really well done. Not sure if it's worth the $18.96. Cod was slightly over fried cause the extra batter bits were bitter tasting. Mushy peas was not for me. Coleslaw was very good! Busy with a short wait time but service is quick so the turnaround time on tables is efficient.

Andrew Yeung

Best fish and chips in the town. Their Halibut is like a meaty steak, batter is just perfect and crisp. You can visit Olde Yorke with expectations.

Amelia Does Dinner

One of the best fish and chips we have had here in toronto. Gets nicer everytime we go back and we are never let down with the quality of the food. A little taste like home

Doug Houston

I always get the Halibut here and it is really good! Their homemade tartar sauce is great too! It can get quite busy, but it is worth the short wait time. Highly recommend this place.

Michael Fitzpatrick

Very good f/c takeaway service very organized , it is very close to UK taste I think it is the oil they fry in, also the batter, and the fish they use.Great f/c fix.

Wow, old school amazing! The Olde Yorke Fish & Chips is a throwback in the very best sense of the word. The dining room is surrounded by dark wood, carpeting, a traditional island bar, and old school red vinyl booths. The Olde Yorke stays true to run-of-the-mill British pub. Unlike other establishments, the main attraction here is not nachos or flat screen televisions. It’s is the amazing fish. This place is not you wearing your grandpa's vintage clothing. It's your grandpa, wearing... his own clothes. But classics are classics for a reason, and for the past 14 years at The Olde Yorke that's meant traditional British fish and chips . Long lines are a staple at this family owned restaurant for both the dining room and separate take-out counter, often spilling out onto the sidewalk at lunch and dinner rushes. Have a late lunch this afternoon and the family vibe at the Olde Yorke seems to have with its longtime neighbours. Traditional fish and chips in a cozy setting. I like places that know what they're good at, and stick to that. Nice selection of stouts to make you feel like you're back in the old country.

Kimberly Viveiros

Fish and chips done proper! Plenty of options other than fish and chips but you're doing yourself a disservice by not ordering some cod, haddock, or halibut paired with golden chips. I can always appreciate a restaurant that doesn't overdo it on the batter - it was done perfectly. Not too oily either. Been to a few places where every bite was just oil. They've been in the game for a long time and I'm glad I finally found myself here after hearing great things. It lives up to the hype!

Chris Biro

One of my fave fish and chips places in the gta. Everything always tastes fresh and service is great. It's usually fairly packed, so be prepared to wait. If you don't mind sitting in the solarium though, you tend to get seated much quicker. The clam strips are a must have as they are very meaty and offer a large enough portion to count as a full meal.

Jenny Lam

Amazing fish and chips. Ordered take out due to covid restrictions but the service and organization was still awesome. Fish and chips are packaged in a paper container which is nice since it's compostable but even better because it keeps your meal crispy and fresh. My cod was perfectly cooked with a light and crispy batter. Fries were also done perfectly.

Kram Z

The best fish and chips in Toronto! I’ve been coming here for years now and the food is always delicious, the service is excellent and the place also has ample parking space. I’ve been here for most of my families birthdays and other celebrations. This establishment is very accommodating. As for the food, I usually get the Haddock with an upgrade to a poutine instead of the regular chips/fries and lots of tartar sauce. I’ve also tried the Halibut which is supposed to be juicer and dense but I didn’t notice that much of a significant difference from the Haddock for the price so I would recommend just sticking with the Haddock. The Apple Crisp with ice cream was also delightful and refreshing. Overall, I highly recommend fish and chips lovers to visit this place and enjoy the delicious food for yourself.

Teoman Yücel

Cozy place. Niko's hospitality is great. Chowder, Halibut and chips and apple crisp are my favourites. With a tasty beer of course!

Vin Zilla

Ok I have to be fair in my opinion Olde Yorke Fish and Chips...amd it is the best fish and chips in the GTA...the takeout is just as fantastic as if you ate it(althougheating ot at the restaurant right as it is served will always be the best way to enjoy!!!) You have to try their calamari and clam strips...in fact I would suggest trying everything and finding your own faves...the service from the previous review was a one off...in all fairness the service over all these years has been great...after all we are over 2 years into a pandemic... This is my current review of Olde Yorke Fish and chips, I will also leave my previous review so that everyone can make their own decision. During the pandemic we have been trying to support the restaurant industry and believe that it is important. I have been a big fan of Olde Yorke since they opened in 1997... But my last trip was a nightmare, one of the sister owners was beyond rude to my family member and myself... We understand its a pandemic but honestly we are a family unit and it was two of us... She decided to yell at us and tell us that one of us had to wait outside or we can leave... Well I didn't want to argue so I went outside and waited as my family member ordered. I really felt like not ordering but my family loves their fish and chips. There food is great but I will not be going back and neither will most of the people I have recommended this place to. We have found another place that treats us like human beings... I will always support the restaurant industry but they also need to be fair and respectful to their customers, especially ones who have been coming for over 20 years...I wish them the best as they have a large loyal following, but we are no longer a part of that... (previous review) Been coming here since they first opened. This is my got fish and chip restaurant in Toronto. Great fish and chips, the chowder is off the charts delicious and the clam strips are great. Just too bad they don't have the complimentary bread anymore, it was really good!

Marco Lopes

Knock out fish and chips...! I've fish and chips from east to west coast and I have to admit they are within the top 5 places I've visited. ????

Tiffany Ngo

Excellent meal friendly staff good portion food polite waitress and Management ample parking

Bettina Brentano

Always amazing. Never a bad experience. Competes with fish and chips from England. Also, delicious and massive onion rings last time.

Albert T

This is the only fish and chips place I ever go too. I drive a little further but definitely worth the drive. The staff always have a positive attitude when ever I pick up my order. Not to mention the portion is perfect. So much better then other small business fish&chips joints. Highly recommend ????

yul coffee

Best fish and chips in all GTA. Very clean and well organized, specially with all adjustments due to covid, this place always deliver the best food and service. Congratulations to all proud staff who run this place

RJ “Knownoncents” Morgenhauser

This place has the best fish'nchips in Leaside. The chips are thick and they don't skimp on the portion size. Also, if you're interested in a fun Scottish specialty, they serve Deep Fried Mars Bar and Ice Cream as a dessert option.

Yuval Kaplan

Amazing quality. Clean, not greasy, great batter. Had classic meal few weeks ago, we were so impressed we got just the fish today to make fish tacos at home! Highly recommended.

Jim Murphy

Love this place! The fish and batter is amazing! Recommend.

Minh Nguyen

In our minds, the best fish and chips in the city. We were here at lunch with guests. Busy place. Haddock and chips are delicious. Not oily and friea are perfectly cooked. Cheerful waitress. Be prepared for line ups at dinner but it is worth the wait. Elegant settings.

brj

Best fish & chips I have found in Toronto. Closest thing to the real deal in Ireland.

Lee S

An awesome fish and chips spot with great service! The Haddock was big and flavorful. The pricing ia very fair.

Gustavo Aguiar

Waiting for what seemed ages for my take out order before 5pm on a Saturday. Good fish and chips. Calamari and Greek salad are also very good. However yesterday I parked my car in the last parking spot away from the restaurant on your lot, roadside. There is a city parking sign on a thin metal pole which intrudes into your parking spot. It was dark and raining and I did not see it and scraped the side of my car. Although this is a city owned sign, it should NOT intrude into the entrance of one of your parking spots and damage customer cars. Now I have to go to an auto body shop and pay hundreds of dollars to put my car right. You do not have enough parking. You have also decreased it and I will not be back...

Erfan Shoara

Great fish and chips! They are one peace meals but you won't need any more. The serving are enormous! Enjoy!

Food was Delicious, very crunchy and flaky inside!

Lovely fish and chips restaurant with excellent food and beverage.

MR

First class, every aspect. They obviously treat their staff well, who are impossibly efficient, polite, and professional. The quality of the fish is excellent, the key lime pie is sublime - and the fries are pretty much the best around. A legit gem, worth the drive if you don't live in the neighbourhood - the take-out is properly packaged, it will be plenty warm by the time you get home.

Shahryar Banifatemi

Honestly I am not a fish lover. I can pretty well say I loath the smell of cooked fish like salmon and sea bream and other fish. Honestly though their food is incredible. Well spiced, well cooked and well portioned. I did not go hungry and was impressed that it was not overcooked, oversalted or underseasoned. Would definitely return for an intimate date or fish Friday for takeout. Keep up the good work and see you soon.

Babak Izadi

Good fish and chips. Fish was evenly cooked with no chewy or burnt ends. The fries were solid too.

jane weiman

We have picked up fish and chips twice now during the pandemic and are so impressed with how tightly things are run in order to keep both staff and customers safe. Called ahead both times and given an approximate time when food would be ready. Friendly staff and well organized. And for the food, simply delicious! And keeps well by the time you get home! Not greasy at all which is often my experience at other fish and chip establishments. Don't forget to order a slice of key lime pie - the perfect finish to a wonderful meal.

(Visited on Tuesday, August 3/21 - ordered takeout for approx 4:24PM) I can't wait until the construction on Eglington is over because I definitely want to come back to this place more often. It may have been because I was starving and had a hankering for fish and chips but this place was AMAZING! I don't want to call myself a fish and chips connaisseur (despite having been to Great Britain and Ireland) but I'd like to assume I know what good fish and chips tastes like after visiting several spots in the GTA. I ordered the Halibut and Chips with a medium coleslaw (not pictuered). Food was ready right away, staff were very sweet and accommodating, brown paper bag with non-Styrofoam packaging (to me this is very important because I hate single use plastic). I think the two things that surprised me were: - the lack of their own in house tartar sauce (considering how good the fish was - I only got 3 packets of tartar sauce to go (so I asked for more and think I got six) But the Halibut.... It was amazing. The batter was perfect, the fish was flaky - it looked dry but it tasted amazing! And the chips!! I was sad I didn't get some salt to sprinkle on them but that was my mistake. The coleslaw was also very good - I think Medium is a good size for one person. I will definitely come back to try their Haddock and few other menu items. For a place about 30 mins on the highway from me, I would gladly drive down. Will definitely be back. ** oh and definitely eat fish and chips fresh. There's no way I would have driven home before I ate this. With the pandemic I basically have a tray in my car - just in case I don't feel like eating in the restaurant or have people who aren't comfortable indoor dining

Matthew Mammoliti

Amazing!!! Best halibut we had in our lives! Also, the chowder is to die for! Prices are decent. Great staff, with amazing hosting skills! They make you feel like home, welcome each time. Even though they're EXTREMELY busy, they make the best use of the little space available, and get everyone in, without anyone feeling pressured to leave sooner than they wish to. Keep up the great work, guys!

Karen Jamshidi

High quality and fresh food. Very polite and kind staff. Our family really enjoyed this restaurant.

Gordon Lau

After being silent the entire journey to Five Guys which was where TH and I had planned to have dinner, our Uber driver surprised us by pointing to an old, one-storey building as we were alighting, and said, “That’s the best place for fish and chips in town”. Me being me, immediately decided we had to give @oldeyorke a try. I don’t know if it was the best given that we had not had the same dish on this trip to compare it with but we agreed the Halibut we ordered here was very good indeed ($18.50). We had picked it based on our friendly server’s recommendation and found its dense meatiness firm and clean tasting which we enjoyed. The battered coating was not the super thin kind but regardless, it married well with the fish as it was really crunchy and remarkably free of oiliness. Although it came with a faultless tartare sauce, I preferred to spam my Halibut and chips (fat, chunky fries) with malt vinegar. The accompanying cole slaw was decent as well.

Mary Jane Santander

Definitely the best local fish and chips I've ever had! Hidden away in the Leaside neighbourhood in a little corner unit, it can be easy to drive right by and not give it a second look especially considering the plaza right across with more well known food options. Wait times can be a bit long depending on the day and time, but the food is definitely worth the wait. Once we were seated, we were warmly greeted by our server who handed us our menus and asked if we'd like something to drink to start off. Going through the menu, I was stuck between the haddock or halibut, but eventually decided on the haddock. A friend recommend I get the poutine upgrade with it and I'm so glad i listened. The haddock had a perfect texture to it, soft and moist. The batter was not too thick and was just right as to not overpower the fish with oil. The poutine is an absolute must on your first try here. The fries are thick cut and fried to perfection. The gravy and cheese curds complement the whole meal. One of the best things about this quaint fish and chips spot is that the menu is clean and simple, focusing on what they do best without all the extra frills and upsells. I wish I lived closer to the area or had something just as amazing in my neighbourhood, I'd absolutely go as often as I could given how great the food is. For $11.65, you can't go wrong here!

Eric Koh

Excellent food and great service! One of the best fish and chips I’ve ever had. The fish was savory and perfectly fried, dry and crispy, simply delicious. The portion was reasonably sized. The place reminds you of Britain, but isn’t as cramped. The staff is friendly and attentive. They offer parking for customers and is it wheelchair accessible.

Hanna Joseph

Amazing fish and chips. Comparable to what you can get in the UK.

Ken Greene (刘志林)

I got the Cod and fries for takeout and it was delicious. If you're getting takeout, I suggest asking for more tarter sauce and ketchup. The portions are quite big. ????

Naum Pitropcevski

So far best fish&chips in Canada

Jessica Noskiewicz

First time here! I heard all about it and went online to check reviews. There were some really horrible ones so I was a little skeptical. My husband and I decided to try it out for lunch. Upon arrival, were were greeted and given a table by the window. Great spot! The waitress was very helpful and took our drink orders first. (5min. upon being seated). Once our drinks came, she took our order and even gave us some recommendations. (Great service!) We ordered: 1. Clam Chowder 2. Halibut and Chips 3. Calamari 4. Key Lime Pie The clam chowder was also delicious. My mouth waters just thinking about it. Let me tell you...THE BEST FISH AND CHIPS! The halibut was perfectly cooked. It was juicy, moist, not overly salty. The calamari was lightly battered, texture was perfect and the flavour was just right. The Key Lime pie was just good! Nothing beats Key Lime pie straight out of the Florida Keys though. The prices are a little higher than your average fish and chip joint but hey, this is NOT your average fish and chip joint. They are totally above average. Definitely worth trying out.

I am never a fish and chips fan but Olde Yorkdale Fish & Chips is the game changer. I recently moved to this neighbourhood and my Scottish coworker immediately asked me to try Olde Yorke Fish & Chips and said I will not regret. I took in the advice and bought take out home for me and my family and we were all I very impressed. The fish is so crispy and yet so tender that it melts in your mouth. We often switch the fries to poutine (not so English on this part after all) and it tastes so delicious! Now this is our weekend go to spot.
