Typically very good but this time around and much of the summer the beef has been overpriced. The bourbon marinated steak tips were not as flavorful as usual and seemed as if they were on the verge of expiration. I will take a break from the butcher department.

Expensive but excellent dinners served Mon-Fri starting around 3:30 buffet style. Get there early they sell out fast. Sold by the pound. Made in house. Friday is Salmon day. Great for seniors. Fun place.

My mom went to pick up pizza and poked her head around the corner as she does sometimes so that they’re aware someone’s waiting (otherwise they might not know) and she was surprised to see the people preparing the food not wearing masks. When the workers were in front of people (giving people their food) they were wearing masks. When she went to go pay for the pizza, she told the cashier what she saw and got the reply “Well when I go back there they’re wearing masks” with an attitude. Doesn’t matter if you believe people should be wearing masks or not, it’s mandatory to wear masks all times at work like every other place is and customers shouldn’t be getting an attitude after politely saying something they found to be wrong. She could’ve said something in front of other customers and some of them probably would’ve left without their order/paying. You should do the right thing when no ones looking.

Peterson's market is always great. Honestly, I don't do my all week shopping there, but on cookout days, they are the bomb! (outdated term?) The outdated part is ok as it like walking into a 50's market) They have a terrific butcher counter with chops, marinated steak tips in different flavors, chicken ready to grille. They have store formed beef patties which are frozen, and a billion times better than the Alpo burgers at regular Super markets. They have daily in house home cooked specials, different every day which are VERY good, and wicked pissa pizza! THEY SELL FRESCA! (when available, not freakin'now) Tater, Mac, garden salads. Good produce department, beer and wine, and recently an old school fish market. If you don't see what you want at the fish department, they will get it for you fresh next day. (Cods with capes? Duh!)

Worst customer service I've ever experienced. From start to finish I was treated poorly. My family and I called multiple businesses trying to purchase 20 lbs of crab... unfortunately for us being labor day weekend we had no other choice but to purchase from the establishment who among other rude comments told us "do you wanna order or not I'm busy" and when we did place the $400.00 order to "hurry up because they close in an hour". when we arrive instead of thanking us for our large purchase we were screamed at by a man and a woman about their credit card machine which we were told was declining our purchase... however, upon later inspection were charged 3 separate times totaling over $1200.00, And an additional $400.00 on our credit card that was approved. if that wasn't inconvenient enough our bank turned our cards of due to the unusual $1200.00 crab purchase. I strongly suggest avoiding this place at all costs.

First time in this fish market and it won't be my last! Everything it super clean and tidy, the cases full of really fresh fish including, but not limited to, swordfish, haddock, scallops and lobster. They even had a frozen box of bacon wrapped scallops which I had tonight, and they were very good! I ordered a pound of scallops, which I intend to broil with bacon, some amazingly fresh swordfish, literally glistening and opaque, and some pieces of haddock - which was sliced to my order and packed well. The young man who took care of me today couldn't have been more polite, knowledgeable and efficient - every purchase handled with care and wrapped well for my trip back home. There WILL be a next time for Peterson's Market - if you love a variety of fresh seafood, Peterson's Fish Market is the best on the Cape!

Ordered pizza in mid day for pickup just before closing. Got the pizza home and it was not only under cooked, the dough was actually raw with a wet layer of soup like filling.They refunded the money the next day but eight of us had to find something else for dinner!@#%.

Fish market has a fun and cleanly atmosphere. Options are hand drawn in chalk which is nice because it let's you know things are kept up to date and moving along. The oysters were cold and full of liquor as hoped for. It's a nice big counter for the space so I felt like it emphasized my personal experience with the seafood.

Good food, but everything is overpriced. Definitely not worth the price. But in a pinch the place is good. Half the staff is nice, the other half seem like they are burdened to do the littlest things (aka their jobs). If you don't mind spending the extra money, it's not a bad spot to go.

Extremely disappointed! I go to Peterson’s on a daily bases, I get my morning coffee and my dinner, I live just a mile down the street. Today I needed to grab some ground beef, I stood in front of the meat counter for 10 minutes and got ignored by 4 men that work in the meat/deli. When I asked one of them, if anyone can help me get something he just said yeah sure. Continued on ignoring me and the 6 other people behind me. I stopped in for a quick pick up which ended up being more than 20 minutes and I got ignored. Very disappointed, will never get my meat there again!

Peterson's is a great little neighborhood market. They don't have a huge selection but the produce, meats, beer and wine are exceptional. They make really good pizzas to go. There is a separate fish store just next door. Anything they don't have you can find at the RiteAid next door.

Absolutely wonderful place! My elderly parents frequently get prepared foods and salads there and we purchased kabob chicken that was seasoned for the grill. Coleslaw yummy. Delicious! A small amount of baked desserts plus wines are also available. The selection of meats and fresh sausages is excellent!
