If you've been thinking about ways to make your dog happier and healthier, go check out The Hungry Pooch! They're staff is knowledgeable and so kind and friendly. We're spending less money then we were on canned food and our dog is loving his food (no more picky eating!), he's shedding less, has a softer, shinier coat, and having healthier bowel movements, just to name a few of the benefits! As an added benefit, we love walking in knowing that we don't have to research anything we pick up to make sure it's safe for our dog because they already did the research for us. Overall awesome place, staff, service, products and experience.

If your looking into raw diet and are unsure about it then this is the place to go. Staff I encountered yesterday was very friendly and knowledgeable. They offer free samples if your not sure if your dog will like the switch which I am extremely thankful for. Our guy did not take to it as I thought he would which I am so glad I did not have to spend 30-50 dollars to find out. Disclaimer: they only sell raw diet food, if your expecting kibble like I was you will be disappointed.

Our goodle doodle has been having some gastro issues. I went to the hungry pooch to try and figure out what I can do/gain some knowledge on raw feeding. I really enjoyed the fact that they weren't pushy at all. I believe her name was April, she made a few suggestions to add to our girls current food and gave us a sample of BCR to try out. After about 5 days I went back to purchase Mega Dog raw food. Was a great experience. Would definetly Reccomend for someone who is just starting out to visit the hungry pooch to gain some knowledge without feeling pressured!

Wonderful experience with visiting this store. Went to inquire about starting a raw food diet for my puppers and was quite impressed by the friendly customer service. Vanessa and Michelle gave me tonnes of information and advice on a raw food diet. You can tell they care about their customers needs ( and their customer's pets). I will be making this my home store for my visits from now on, and would highly recommend it to other pet owners.

I don't visit as often as I used to now that I live in a different area of town but the staff at The Hungry Pooch were so helpful getting my dogs started on raw awhile back. The staff is extremely knowledgeable so if you plan to switch your dog's diet to raw, definitely talk to them! I was also happy that when I asked a question over Facebook Messenger, they replied quickly with an answer.

Where do I begin? Not only is the staff very knowledgeable, and helpful, but the store carries a massive selection and variety of raw pet food. I can't even begin to tell you how much my dog and finicky cat LOVE the food that we bring home to them. I started my dog on a raw diet a few months ago, but I didn't know this place existed. We were buying meat and portioning it out and hoping that I got the ratios correct. Then I decided to switch my senior cat over to a raw diet, but there's no way she can eat bones the way my Shepsky can and I was at a loss as to how I was going to do this. I searched on Google and found The Hungry Pooch. They helped us select the right type of food for her and she LOVES it. She's now jumping up on things that she hasn't in a very long time. Then we decided to switch the Shepsky over to a premade raw diet. BINGO! Now I know she's getting the right mix of nutrients. I can't recommend this place enough!! (Also, stop feeding your pets kibble - it's POISON!)
