Went to spys today after seeing some great reviews. Definitely disappointed. The meat was so stingy, sliced extremely thin, see through thin...I got an assorted surprise I think it was called. Too stingy for the price. I give it two stars because the woman at the counter was very nice and knowledgeable. First time customer and unfortunately last time as well.

I have been going to SPYS ever since it opened back in 1994 at it's original location at McDougall and Tecumseh. First off, their buns are 14 inches long; two inches longer than a typical sub, their ingredients are fresh and always delicious. I live in South Windsor and go out of my way to get my subs here. Outstanding!! Pay no attention to Tima Salvatore, the customer service is great.

Polite people, not stingy on ingredients and prices are comparable to other establishments. Thursdays they have a special 14" gyros sub for $7.99 with the amount of meat they put on it alone its worth it.

Spy's is really great when I need lunch on the run. I can grab a salad with some chicken and a frozen yoghurt for a healthy choice with a bit of a treat. I love that the side salad size is perfect for a meal.

Ive been coming here for at least 9 years. Never had an issue. The prices are great and the staff have always been pleasant. Old school style subs that are huge. This place gives subway a run for their money. I love the Donaire and fries as well. They also have great frozen yogurt, with any flavor you could imagine. They even have pickle and mustard if you are brave enough! If you haven't tried this place yet you need to. You won't be dissaponted.

First time going there tonight, my gf and I got 2 supreme pitas and a large poutine. Service was slow but good with only 1 employee working. The pitas used were old stale and very chewy which made both pretty much non edible. We ate the poutine, it was good but this was a terrible first experience and we will not return.

Service was prompt, efficient and friendly. The one employee, Sherry, seems to enjoy what she is doing, treats customers very well and is extremely efficient in ensuring orders are filled as quick as possible without customers feeling like they are being rushed through. Frozen yogurt is amazing and good selection of food. Hopefully, a dedicated and loyal employee like Sherry is appreciated and recognized.

Don't understand why anyone would go to Subway when a place like this exists in the city. The absolute # 1 Sub I've ever had. Everything is always fresh and the staff always have smiles on their face. Oh, and make sure you try their Frozen Yogurt.
