My brother's and I ordered food from here to go when leaving Adventure Bay Water Park. Their know for their halibut but locals tend to say the cod is better; so we tried both. I think the cod has the upper hand on the taste bid side.

It used to be great 10 years ago. We orderd 3 peices of halibut on a friday night and it was absloutley dead, no one eating there at all. It's really expensive for where it's located and one of the peices of fish wasn't fully cooked.

If I could give a zero star for this restaurant I would. We ordered the family combo, the fish was very oily and under cooked and it tasted and smelled disgusting it had no flavour whatsoever and the fries oh gosh soggy and nasty not to forget the restaurant is very old, dirty and outdated it looked like it’s never been renovated since they opened. Interior could use sprucing up but it's really some of the best fish in town.. breading is killer. I always get the haddock because I get triple the portions for less price than halibut, and the way they prepare it is often indistinguishable from the halibut. Girl who took my order was unwelcoming. Been here one other time and found the service to be unfriendly. However, the food was hot and very good. They charge you extra if you want coleslaw, I think coleslaw should come standard with fish & chips like it does everywhere else. Also, they only give you about a tablespoon of tartar sauce.

Not sure why but the prices have gone way up and they give a lot smaller portions. We ordered the halibut dinner for 3 people and it was $55. 3 small containers with some fries and a small piece of fish. What happened to the coleslaw and bun?
