You must have seen that it reaches an feddbacks average is good, and it's founded on a large number of feddbacks, so we may conclude that the valuation is very credible. If there are many people who bothered to give their review when they are pleased, is that it works.
You know that we do not usually stop to place opinions when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Fish Shop is classified in the category of Asian grocery store.
It's an amazing place to go, for items you can't get anywhere else! Fresh fish, live tilapia, lobster and Dungeness crab. If you have never been, and you like oriental cuisine. Then this is a must stop shop!
If I lived here in Windsor I would do all my grocery shopping here! They've got everything. They really could skip the Halal meat, but it is what it is. Good place to buy your groceries.
Good variety of fresh sea food. Pretty crowded at busy hours. Could get better with self checkout counters.
If you come, you must try their food court! Delicious! Their shrimp dumplings were my favorite. They also have plenty items for your grocery needs, fresh meats and fish.
This is my happy place. My perfect day involves grabbing groceries here, grabbing dinner here, and buying random snacks and treats here. The selection is amazing! There's a whole giant aisle of just tea!
Be aware that some items got marked by wrong price. Today I bought some packages of different kinds of coffee and when I got the receipt, their prices were different than what was marked next to them. If I would have known that I would not buy that quantity.
So much selection, way more fresh vegetable options than any other grocery store I've been to! I love it here, very organized and diverse ingredients. The hot food is delicious too!
I love the diverse line of products they carry. However the staff is so rude and unpleasant.
Very nice selection for everybody yearning for tastes from home. Butcher, halal and fresh seafood as well. Strawberries and grapes are oddly expensive though.. I'm lowering my rating a star. Alot of selection is very expensive.
This international grocery store has many good food options from around the world. When making dishes from Asian countries we have trouble finding many of these ingredients in other stores in Windsor (or at least all in the SAME store) travel here from across town on a regular basis because they always have what we need.
This is a big grocery food store that has a good variety of oriental foods, in the Windsor Ontario area. The oriental groceries stores used to be small Moms & Pops places - but this is comparable to big supermarkets. Although it serves the Asian community well, it also killed off the small mom & pop stores - unfortunately, that's the general nature of any business. This place also have a good variety of take out cooked Chinese foods, and there is also an upper level where one can sit down and enjoy the food while fresh & hot. The cooked food section is my favorite, because they also have sale, and can be a good alternative to going to a restaurant. Although, the prices are almost comparable to restaurant prices - so, as to saving $ - one will have to cook from raw ingredients, to save $. But, does one know how to cook the food that is comparable to restaurant quality? Since I am not that good at cooking, yet I love Chinese cuisine, getting the take out allows me to enjoy, and still be a little bit prudent. ;0)
The food from their take out section is really below average, also, after seeing one of their employees take off their mask to sneeze on the floor and wiping it on his clothes is really disturbing.
All ASEAN, Middle Eastern supermarket available come and visit. Live seafoods available as well. Including a variety of Asian buffet cuisines. Halal highly recommended for those Muslim brothers and sisters. But there's also area, for non-muslim cuisines and food in shelves.
Relatively good selection of Asian food in Windsor area. My son somehow is allergic to the hot food which they serve. A week ago, a customer lady in front of us at cashier check out line yelled after paying for her groceries. There was a dead small mouse lying on the floor. The friendly cashier girl stayed very calm and went to take a bloom to clear it up in front of us. We will only buy food in sealed packages at this place in the future.
Cool place to find goods from Asian and beyond.
Picking up a bag of spinach by random. When I backed home and opened it. What was a great surprise in front of my eyes : only rotten leaves! Unbelievable!!!
Great selection of hard to find or less common grocery items. A great grocery store for new Canadians looking for a taste of home. Great place to find snacks and seafood, Asian foods and spices, Mediterranean foods and spices. Fresh meats, veg and fish. My only criticism, is the staff could be friendlier.
There are these bags of mango candies with a big "100" on them. Man don't leave me alone with one of them because I'll turn those 100 candies into 0 candies in no time flat.
They've got all the freshest ingredients, where there are a lot of cultural foods and ingredients that you can not find at Walmart or Costco. UPDATE: Continued great service. Back area is open for take out, but can not eat inside the store yet as of Feb 8, 2022
I like to go there for the hot food and bun. I am always happy with my experience and it is delicious.
They have things you will need, but customer service is not even a star
Quality has steadily gone down since opening. Beware of food with a red discount marker, most are past their expiration date. Their meat aren't fresh, and their live fish have symptoms of illnesses.
Awesome product selection, but unless you can read other languages, it is extremely hard to find specific products due to densely packed shelving sections and very little staff presence on the floor. On the bright side, you end up just asking other shoppers who will recommend specific products or suggest new things to try.
The staff are very unpolite, this is my third time and Never come back again, anyone care about what do you need like customer. Most the staff Speak only their language and the don't have any any staff from another country, They love comme to my Country to live and take our money but not to helps others! Racism!!!
Honestly this is a gem. Lots of sweets that’s are delicious as well! Halal butcher one site. Halal hot Chinese food for a great price
I love that I can get Colombian food at this place. Also, the selection of fruit and vegetables is always great, always fresh. The mini-foodcourt has good food as well and upstairs they have a nice area with tables and pretty murals. It is not accessible though. No elevator to the second floor, unfortunately. Only stairs. Giving only four stars because the lack of accessibility and a characteristic smell that is not pleasant to my western nose
Nice place if u have International taste. The only thing I don't like is that I can't communicate with them because they don't speak any form of English. Or so they say. I can't ask what kind of fish they just pointed a sign yes the sign is there but freshwater saltwater they just point to the sign
Wide variety of products but the customer facing people could smile a little. You can find a lot of different species of fish that will be cut as per your request. The only challenge is to communicate effectively with the guy who does that. They also have a ready to eat food section where the combos are definitely worth the money. The 3 stars are purely for my dumb smiles trying to be friendly but received just cold faces as response almost all the time I've been there.
Great place for obscure Asian products form all areas of Asia/India. Unfortunately English is not the language of almost anyone there, it's Chinese. Unless you're lucky like I was and found a friendly person to help you find something and talk to the staff your out of luck or searching hopelessly.
Kinda like Windsor's own version of T&T in the GTA. The selection is pretty decent, though it's kinda hard to find what you want at times. The food court has great food.
unprofessional, rude, service is too bad, disregard for customers, constantly increase prices, need to improve service more. The bag is small and thin, I bought a few items but also had to take several bags, very frustrating.
Everytime I go there to get asian food from their food counter. Servers are stingy on serving if ur not asian. They heap the servings for u if ur asian. I've noticed that on few occasions. That's why I am not going back there again.
Probably the best multinational food store in Windsor with selections, half the stuff is almost impossible to find anywhere else. Pricing is decent for most things, vegetables and produce tends to be a bit more expensive depending on time of year.
Great Asian grocery store. Wonderful selection of hot food for take out. Their hot & sour soup is outstanding. Good selection of all things Asian.
Best kept secret in Windsor....This store is the size of an average No Frills but is loaded with ingredients from around the world. Halal butcher onsite, fresh shellfish and seafood (avoid the unhealthy looking swimming carp though). Every imaginable condiment (Korean, Vietnamese, Japanese, Indian, Filipino). Fresh exotic vegetables and fruits. Great selection of tofu, wonton wrappers and an extensive hot food counter with large portions for a small price.
For being the biggest Asian grocery store, they have a variety of Asian products, even a Halal section. However, the fish section & regular meat section, the employees have yet to be properly trained on food handling. They will bag the raw products poorly, and get raw juices/ground meat everywhere. Not even a care from the employee. At the cash out they use gloves but raw meat gets on the belt and all over the cash out station, and yet they do not acknowledge this and try to wipe anything down. They continue on as if everything is normal. When you try to address the issue, they look at you like you are the problem. Most of the employees don't speak very good English so it's hard to get a message across. In my opinion, they need to change the standard of food handling if they don't want people getting sick. It's a little disappointing tbh and they actually have so much potential to grow.
Great variety of international foods, unique produce and vegan products. I wish however the store was a little cleaner and be warned, if you can't deal with the smell of fish I wouldn't go!
Closest Chinese market that resembles the ones in Toronto in the city of Windsor. Prices are alright, offers live fish in tanks, combo meals, grocery's, bakery, frozen and dry foods, etc. Never took down their "anniversary sale" sign since opening though. Employees were nice I guess but spoke limited English (the non-cashiers at least)
If you’re non-Asian, they will watch you like a hawk throughout the store. Prob won’t go again bc of that…
This place is great for finding those hard to find foods from different countries in the big chain stores. It's probably the cleanest Asian market I've ever been too. The staff is pretty friendly. I also love that they sell ready made food to go there.
Worst staff attitude ever. This morning my wife and I were there and while we were talking to the cashier about the fish pricing error, one of the staff took our items away and kicked us out with extremely unpolite maner. I asked him to be more gentle with the customers as well as his manager's name but he said "I'm the manager "!!
Waite about 20 minutes in the area before anyone greet or ask how they could help, I watch one worker help a customer, he ordered pork ribs, then pork bone the cut them up after doing that he walked over to me and ask what I want, I first ask if he wasn't going change his gloves or watch his hands he said they don't do that hear, he told his manager what I said and he repeated the same thing after touching pork they don't wash or change their glove before going to help other customers, who wants beef, in fact the manager point and showed me halal was on the other side, so I walk out the store they are very rude and racist. I would never go back and recommend this place to anyone.. horrible experience. This place need to be shut down..
I like the variety of items they have. But the customer service needs improvement and posting the faces of people they believe are shoplifters makes me very uncomfortable that those people's human rights are being violated.
This store is awesome. Easily the best place in town to get Asian foods and fresh fish.
Moved from GTA 9 months ago, and been missing this type of market! So happy to have found it! This is my main market now. Super clean, great seafood and fresh meat selections, produce is amazing!
It's always my favorite place to shop for Asian grocery whenever I'm in town. I particularly like the deli section where I can get a cheap boxed meal to go. I highly recommend it.
Make sure you get back your correct change... today I bought Turkish coffee cashier lady didn't give me my change and she said she forgot ... this is the 3rd times happened to me in this market
There is everything here from Western foods, middle-eastern foods, asain foods. They also have a take out counter where they serve a lot of traditional food. So many different kinds that u will want 2 just check it out. There is a lounge upstairs where u can enjoy your meal if you are not in a rush. My gf and I love coming here on a night that we don't feel like cooking and their prices are incredible.
Best place in windsor for ethnic type food and groceries. Prices are cheap for some items but not for others. They also sell ready to eat food and have a dining area. Staff here do not speak english for the most part so youll have to figure it out yourself. This is a simple trade off considering the access you get to multiculture foods that you can not find in other places in Windsor. Comparable to T&T supermarket in toronto. There is a lot of parking and this place has good hours. I go here to purchase the dimsum and baked goods very often. Meat is also fresh and cheap.
It's a Chinese supermarket whih contains a lot variety of chinese food products many more international food products with reasonable pricing and we can get fresh meat with very cheap price compared to other meat store in windsor.
Excellent option to buy fresh food, variety and low cost. Also you can bring prepared chinese food to go.
I didn’t have any negative experiences here, it’s an Asian grocery store, it is what it is. Huge selection of any Asian food you need or can think of. I am happy with all the seafood options
Numerous Asian style foods you can get here, and most of them have decent quality and good price. But when you wanna have some help or just check out, don't hope big, impolite attitude is the regular. This is what I don't like here and what I hate in China. Just one benefit on this thing is when you have to face this impolite, congratulations, it is the guarentee of here is a truly CCP Chinese store. It is.
This place "was" good place to shop for Asian grocery. But "now" they are rude, filthy (cleaniness wise), sell expired or non-marked items, absolutely terrible customer service, and false advertising. They used to have very capable younger manager who took care of everything according to health policy, local rules, and business standard. Now one old male store manager looks after things and the quality of customer service, quality of food, and fair price are all missing. Price gauging is apparent, grocery items are far from fresh, many items are expired, aisles are disgusting, employees are rude (especially the old manager), and they have been penalized by local health authorities for violating multiple health issues/policy. Do not shop here since there will be no good experience nor good food available no more under terrible management by old man who still thinks he can lie to customers or even yell at customers. It's extremely difficult to keep this type of business honest and high quality because they get "greedy" very very fast.
Made a trip to the Food counter N time and time again the asians load up other asians container with food when making your choices. Myself and my buddies get alot less In the containers when ordering. Asian discriminating on browns! Karma will show em whats up!
Not the friendliest place. Prices are not the cheapest in the city but they have great selection of new and interesting foods. They have a large variety of produce. I enjoy trying a new sauce or fruit I have never had before. They also have a hot food counter with assorted vegetable dishes, meat or seafood. If you ask them for help and you do not speak the language then do not expect friendly service.
I was in this grocery store and saw the store manager dealing with one customer in extremely rude manner. The customer was trying to explain that the shelf listed price was completely different than the scanned price. But the manager (old Chinese man) literally told the costumer "I can do whatever I want so get out of the store". The customer was not even raising his voice. The manager was yelling at the customer for picking out the wrong priced item which is "the right" according to the Scanner Price Accuracy Code. I felt that the Multifood is definitely losing customers of they keep "yelling" at customers for their own fault. Trying not to stereotype anyone but "in Canada", we don't treat customers in such a rude and unprofessional way. I will now ship elsewhere since quality and price are not that great anyway at Multifood since the start of covid. Walker Superstore and Wholesale stores sell almost everything cheaper and better any way.
Many Chinese food and fresh vegetables and the price are really good.u can also get some Korean noodle and chilli paste.the stuff are also really kind and helpful.and u can also get SiChwang pepper here.coz I couldn’t find it any other grocery shops. But only the smell of fresh seafood is bad.Other things are all better than ok!
It's a great place to shop and they have food that you can order to eat. There's produce, frozen food, cereal, cookies, crackers and other groceries.
Multifood Supermarket has an excellent selection of food from all over the world, primarily oriented around food from Asia. The vegetable and fruit selection is incredibly broad - there's plenty to try. For all of your niche produce needs, you must try the Multifold Supermarket. There's parking on site, cart access, and the store is larger than the average Metro. There's a hot foods counter, Seafood counter, deli, etc. We've all heard of Jackfruit but have you seen one in the form that they come off a tree? At Multifold you can!
Great place for asian food, seafood and halal meat. Huge selection of teas. Ready to eat food is good too. Love going here with my kids to get something different. A real Windsor gem.
The seafood is very good, but watch out for expired products on the shelf. I bought many items from here and had to return at least 1 thing because it was expired!
Since Multifood opened last Ang., We love it! We can get most of our needs for food and shop here every week. If you like fresh fish & meat, definitely it's the place you should come!
Hot food bar, $6.99 noodle combo. Cheapest 'white foam box' of Chinese food in town. Get Chow Mein with 2 sides and a veggie. There's also a bathroom and cafeteria seating upstairs, if you can't wait to get home to chow down!
They have lots of products and are overall a good market, you can get everything yiu need here. The only thing is that I found that this place is kinda gloomy, not a lot of lighting, and I felt like it was not very clean. The smell of fish is also really strong, since they do sell fish there, but it is not a very pleasant smell lol! Location is good and has a lot of parking place! And also heard from a close relative that their seafood is really good too!
It’s a perfect place to buy your stuff
Great place to find exquisite items that are hard to find anywhere else in town. Produce is quite varied and usually the quality is acceptable. The store is messy though, with boxes left in the aisles and just a lot of extra product on the shelves. There are places that seemed dirty to me. The service is pretty terrible. For example you can expect to bag your own groceries even if there are two employees standing there doing nothing.
I do understand that this is an Asian run grocery store with many Asian and other products. But they do sell to many Canadians and more than half the employees do not speak a word of English and are extremely rude when you approach the staff with a question. On a few occasions I've asked a staff if they sell a particular product and was signaled with hand gestures to ask someone else. When I began to ask another employee, I received a shrug of his shoulders in which he simply walked away. The cashiers seem so unhappy bc they are never smiling.and don't bother ask them anything because you will get the same response: a puzzled look. They talk to one another in their language which is fine but act as though they don't understand a word of English. Their cooked food is amazing, which I've purchased numerous times. One time I asked for a few more (egg roll sauce, tiny packets) and was told I'm only aloud one bc they sell the spring rolls cheap .. .whatever that means.
It's a regular super market. Most of the items are Chinese, but they do have all other products too. Overall ambience is good. They don't allow you to carry your back packs inside, they will request you to place it inside a safe near the exit. Prices tend to be little bit higher in the vegetables and fruits section. All meats varieties are cheap here. They also have HALAL meats. If you are looking for different varieties of eggs you can find it here. Moreover this one of the best places to find fresh fish, crabs (seafood) etc. For some reasons they won't accept tap to pay. So make sure you have a physical card & also remember your PIN no.
Great choice of Japanese and different culture foods and snacks. Very strong smell can make certain people uneasy but they provide cheap imported snacks that are hard to come by here
It has some indian grocery aisles too and much cheaper than other stores. Great package of fruits and vegetables. Jackfruit is my fav to get from here
An incredible selection of foods, (Asian majority) and always very popular. They have a small buffet like of ready foods and they are priced fairly well. A very multicultural store. Has a strong smell from the seafood section which some people enjoy. Love this place.
The pricing and quality is good. But often times the staff don't understand what you are asking them. Sadly I don't speak Mandarin and many of the staff don't speak English.
Well stocked, clean, but it is hard to find stuff because most of the staff can't understand.
This place was pulled out of Scarborough from the 1990s before they got T&T. The service is just bad, and that’s okay. You should know this going in. They have the best selection of Asian brands from this Side of the boarder until you hit London. The only place I know that has a passable selection of asian pastries and buns. Things won’t make sense here and you’ll wonder what half the stuff is if you can not read Chinese. Just know that it’s good, and use your Google translate on the labels for a good chuckle.
If you like products from all over Asia (not just China) then this is the place for you. Fruit can be a little pricey but all fresh and beautifully displayed. Not one but TWO meat counters. There's also a fresh seafood area. If you're into Asian packaged soups and unique snacks there's hundreds of kinds you never see anywhere else. And they gave a great Chinese hot table that is reasonably priced. Definitely try them out.
Good groceries market !!! Multifood Supermarket needs to install a security device ::! because I saw a lot of shoplifters photos from the front door !! !!!! Windsor only has 1 Oriental market. !!!! If there are 5 Oriental markets in Windsor then there will not be that much stealing!!!.......
Has a wonderful selection of tropical fruits and veges for those missing things like lychees, mangoes that are not your typical Hadens, mangosteens etc. Did not go into the grocery section, so cannot comment about non-produce things...
A little bit of everything, lots of Chinese and Indian food with fresh vegetables...big variety, some items are more pricey then others...
Lovely pla e to shop for meat and chicken. They have varieties of things to buy.
Good selection of food but the service sucks.. most staff do not speak English. The ones that do, are grumpy.
When I moved to Windsor, I was happy to find out about this place. As time went on, I started to realize how horrible this place truly is. During the pandemic, I saw an employee take his mask off to sneeze (didn't use the elbow technique or anything). This happened in the produce section of all places. He put his mask back on and went back to work as if nothing just happened. The handling of meat at the meat counter was very sus
They carry a lot of international groceries and flavours from around the world. Truly multicultural envirnoment for asian flavours and friendly environment. They carry Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Indian, Pakistani, and other Asian variety. Also carrying local brands. I highly recommend Multifood Supermarket for your one stop shopping!
Great place, Cheap prices, alot to choose from, Love their meat counter fresh very fresh,
It was a great experience. All the staff that I dealt with today was very friendly showing great customer service The Establishment was pleasant and clean Great work keep it up to all of you
Love Multifood! They have a great variety of fresh produce, snacks and everything I need for Korean and authentic Chinese cooking :D + small section of skincare as well.
The only place to find all the "back home" groceries you won't see at the regular grocery store. Excellent Latin American section. ????
The staff seems to be under pressure. People are not very friendly and have a grumpy face. The food is also a bit expensive than Freshco. Overall, just an average store. The only pro for some people is the ability to order meat and some specific Chinese/Asian foods
The gorceries and food were good.. Everything were in there... It just the some of staff working there has lack of MANNERS...MANNERS.... MANNERS...!!!!
Wonderful goods with great taste
Very large variety of exotic produce. DatingGood prices. Dating on the meat they sell is suspicious sometimes. I've seen meat dated as packaged for the following day. The fish and meat counters will attend to people who speak their language first regardless of who get there first. Otherwise not bad if you can get over all that.
This a great downtown gem. There is not much downtown as far as grocery stores. They have a wide variety of food for sale. They have two butchers and a fish monger on site. Huge selection of vegetables, most i dont know how to cook with but im learning. Also i love the hot counter, decent meal/combo plate that can be shared between two people. Gives you really open up trying new cuisunes.
A huge selection of international foods. Several varieties of live seafood. A halal meat counter and a regular meat counter.a hot food counter and a wide selection of fresh vegetables.
Great place. Awesome prices. Halal fresh meat available. Staff English can get better but they are always very cooperative.
Great selection. Hard to find certain oriental items. Staff not very helpful. Good parking. Good prices.
I love coming here! They have a variety of grocery options to choose from and it is all priced fairly cheap. My favourite section has to be the noodle section. I am so glad they started carrying the shrimp creamy tom yum noodles, they are my favourite and I couldn't find them anywhere else.
Horrible service. Forget about asking questions. They don't care about you. Not even a smile. At least if. The groceries were cheap.... But they're not! The food service is bad, the clerks at the food service aren't smily or even polite. They don't even care about speaking English properly so that we the customers can understand. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED
One specifically disappointing note: we stopped by at 8:45 today (literally not a minute later) and were turned away by an employee at the door. We only needed two items and knew where they were, we specified that to him. He told us that the cashiers were already closed and that it couldn't be helped. When I was in retail, we kept the tills open until exactly closing time. Not to mention, shutting doors early would merit a fine from the mall. While I understand that this is an independent business, I think it's shameful to mark your hours as a 9pm close and turn customers away with 15 minutes to go. We live in the county, and turning us away means another completely unnecessary 30m drive (one-way) to pick up a few things. To be completely honest, this is the only convenient local location we can find a few of the groceries we like (furikake, Kewpie mayo, certain ramen, etc.). We will absolutely be looking for alternative markets. Sadly, where we can't find these items locally, we'll likely end up purchasing them on Amazon.
Good place to buy fresh meat at a cheaper price compared to freshco, walmart
Always has great, affordable fresh seafood. Good produce too, and has many rare varieties.
This place has a lot of variety to choose from and everything is fresh. But something about it doesn't make sense. I would rather you find out with your own experience.
Great place for fresh seafood or hot food plus they sell goat meat
Store is good, have variety but relatively expensive than other stores like freshco and foodbasic, etc
Carry variety of asian groceries and hot foods.
Some of the products are great! I was able to find what I was looking for in terms of popular Asian foods (mochi, boba, etc) but the place smells like fish, it feels unclean (I have heard about the dead mouse. Not sanitary at all!) and months ago when I had gone they did not take ANY proper social distancing protocols. Many things don't actually have an expiring date on them, and I've purchased items that had sticky or dirty packaging. It's a huge bummer that one of the only supermarkets that actually have foods that I want to try, is unsanitary and has some rude employees. It would be really great if the health unit checked up on that place, and got the employees working there actually make sure that the food people are buying from there is safe.
Love there cooked food. 8.99 for a heaping combo.
Many products I don't see at other stores are sold here. The food is good and it's pretty cheap for the amount. Unfortunately, the staff are not the friendliest kind.
5 stars for the store, -1 star for the horrific parking lot. Not only is it over crowded from Breakaway, it's in terrible condition. It's very hard to find a spot and run in quick.
there were anything like fruit, meet, grocery and ...
Basically the only good place to find East Asian food products in Windsor as much as I have travelled. God bless them for the Samyang noodles and Pocky sticks.
One of the most diverse grocery stores I have ever been to and I have lived all over the world including Bangkok, New York, and Paris. Excellent variety of mushrooms and leafy greens. Every kind of rice and noodle. All world spices inc Carribean, South American. Some imports from all cultures, inc Polish. Good price on free range eggs. Sticky rice in lotus leaf is perfect from the dim sum table. The only complaint I have is that too many things are sold on styrofoam trays and wrapped in plastic.
Great place to grab lunch on the go and head to the river to eat. Love their hot food bar, variety of products you won't see elsewhere. Nice mushroom variety etc. They also have some kitchen items (I love my pots and cups, etc). Just get past the fish smell and you'll be fine!
Good variety of produce and other items. A bit smelly in th fish and meat corner. Some of the workers need to use 'Excuse me' more often. Out of many visits, only got conned once with bell peppers ????. See the photo of the pepper that was placed in a tray. Overall a good place if you just want to do groceries.
Good selection and decent prices. Service at the check out sucks! They have 6 check outs and only 2 open. I had a lot of time to stand there and count 27 people in line. It is often like that. I've waited in line for 25 minutes before!
A wide variety of Groceries from Far East to other cultures such as India, Middle East , Far East Carrabianne no customer service lack of hygiene high prices staff and management pay no heed to customer and their needs Monoply
Be aware about the non veg food items
It's a great place to buy Chinese food in a food court environment. The quality is not bad at all for the price. Loves the stir-fry vegetables.
Great veriety for new flavors reasonable prices
I really enjoy shopping here, it's a great place to find ingredients and spices that are hard to find other places. It has a hot table as well for take away and a dining area upstairs. The fresh and live fish selection is excellent.
Very good selection for its size and a fine selection of hot foods. Interior feels pretty roomy, well maintained and clean. Everything you would expect is here. Prices feel pretty fair. Fast checkouts and an adequate number of lanes.
Great place for grocery. You can get tropical fruits from this store
Price to high and hiden price o bought 3 boxes of chikens boneless pay for 11 pounds per bag ×15 end ip every boc had 10 pounds i told the manager meet halah about it to know whats going on he says its from the company No good ANSWER it seems he knows it and add up one pounds per bags = cheating and stilling my money about 10 pounds charge me extra each time when u buy any big bags or boxes check the prices and weight5 or font go there bother your self with a cheaters
Dont remember being there so couldn't have been that good???
Terrible social distancing protocols. EXTREMELY dirty and unsanitary, not to mention, staff is EXTREMELY rude, constantly watching you and even bumping in to you with no care. Place smells terrible and not to mention very unfairly priced. Very rude and dirty place. Not worth my money.
Inside is okay, not too clean. Nice to see that they have halal meat and fresh seafood in store. Good Asian market.
Best for Asian Grocery.
Be alert when buying fish, watch out the weight. 警惕 短斤少两, 卖鱼部,新来的年轻一点的老板扣寸, 扣得厉害,一磅鱼能称出两磅多。 this is the largest Chinese grocery store in Windsor. Was shopping there a lot until recently had bad experience realizing the fish department new younger man weigh unreasonably higher than actual weight, I purchased a about 1 pt fish, 0.6 pt after clean, very small fish than usual, the smallest I ever purchased, but priced as 2.5pt, the heaviest I ever paid. I didn't pay attention to it after I check out seeing the receipt and I was trusting them before. So I reduces my visit to this store instead supporting the other smaller Chinese store in University ave. it was said the new younger man at fish dept. was the owner of the store, very dishonest business person.
Best Asian market in Windsor. Halal meat also available
Nice supermarket, they have lots of Asian groceries plus some regular stuff. Their prices are not bad and they have a good selection! They have all kinds of vegetables too. The spring rolls in their food court are the best!! You definitely have to get those! The back of the market smells bad because of the raw seafood section but again you won't find this variety in any other market in Windsor!
Very Smelly store . Line up and cashiers use disgusting and smelly gloves ,, which I really don't like them touch my stuff. The products here mostly Chinese and I'm not a fan or interested with their manufactured food!!
This place was VERY popular, they had everything you need for cooking East Asian cuisine. Great prices and helpful staff. Only thing that bummed was the smell of fish. I'm sure that's something to get used to anyway.
Great place to shop! A rather small store the store has great sales and prices, especially for seafood! Their blue crabs were great quality for the price they have. Rarely ever busy so the checkout was not a hassle and was quick and efficient.
This is my go-to grocery store, period. Great selection and quality of fresh produce, a seafood section that feels like a true Asian wet market (I've never noticed a problem with smell), and if you get the combo at the hot food counter, they literally stuff the container so full it will barely close (for ~$10 what!!). Also love the large amount of dry goods, snacks, and even home goods available here.
Meat and produce can't be as fresh as the Asian grocery stores in Toronto area, but no one to blame, it's located 5 hours away from its suppliers, they do good enough
They have probably the freshest meats in Windsor. I love this place. Huge selection produce and hard to find items.
extremely poor attitude and manner towards their customers! Bad sanitation. I saw their stuff took off face masks and sneeze during COVID-19 period.
Great fresh produce offered as well as many snacks from around the world. It’s quite an experience at Multifoods. One downside is the extreme fish smell, but it confirms the quality of their fresh seafood options.
Good variety of products for Asia ,fresh fish, meat ,and dry product quick cashier was in and out bac Choi cabbage ginsing tea phillipines mangos and milk fish thier is also hot food
Perfect Good staff International food
Nevertheless expensive, has all what a oriental food market does.
Great place to do your Sunday groceries!! The meat is fresh and cheaper than most grocery stores (butcher available), best place to find Asian cooking items, great selection of Asian fruits and vegetables and they have a food counter to pick-up meals. Shrimp Tempura and Steamed Pork Buns are highly recommended! If you are going to pick-up cooked food, earlier in the day better. The food tends to be more fresh at that time.
Good place for vegetables & fish
Huge amount of Asian grocery products. Unusual fruits. They have a Chinese take out. Very reasonable price for a lot of food. Huge fish market and butchers.
One of the worst store for ever. The people who working in the store, never heard English I think. The quality of the products is really cheap especially meat, also some of their meat packets is not having expiry date.
It's a good place for Asian foods, but it's a bit expensive in my opinion. I wish they stocked more Japanese items also, there is not enough. And Japanese snacks are quite expensive also. I tried the hot food however and it was quite good for the price.
Great place for imported food you may not find anywhere else fair prices and you can get chicken feet
I have to give it a 4 star. This place could be potentially setup for a 5 star rating only that sometimes "some of the staff" may or can appear rude to you at any time for any trivial reason. It won't always be this way depends on who your dealing with. On the good side they have nearly everything you can imagine and the deli section is where you can get take out chinese food on the go which is a plus if your hungry in the moment and not super fussy comparing it to the best places you have eaten. Not bad place at all imo overall.
Finally ! Windsor has a whatever you need for exotic cooking store- be it Asian, Jamaican, or anything seafood; it’s worth a stop! The hot food counter is very reasonably priced too- a little bland sometimes because it is prepared for the masses, but tasty nonetheless! I love going here!
Nice place to buy some Asian food items. You can get a lot of Indian food items. You can get fresh vegetables and packed food items from different asian cuisine. Prices are fair. So far the only place in windsor with variety of options for asian food. You can get fresh meat and sea food as well.
Halal and all Asean foods is available in a one-stop supermarket ????????Only in this City of Windsor
Close early without notice, and very unfriendly staff. However, you can find a lot of Chinese snacks here. Watch out the expiration date before you pay.
Decent selection of products, but overpriced compare to other stores. The new store policy requires customers to leave bigger bags and backpacks with customer service. When my friend and I refused to leave our bags an employee approached and began screaming at us citing their policy. We decided to leave the store as no way that we would let anyone touch our belongings or allow to yell at us. On the way out we noticed the posting regarding leaving backpacks, etc. at the desk. What an archaic policy. I will not bring my business to a store where employees yell at and humiliate customers and where they assume that you are a thief...it is absolutely unacceptable to treat people in such way in 21st century Canada
Surprised with the quality and taste of the food they serve. Combo meal is recommended! They even have a place upstairs for dine in!! Will try again :)
My favorite grocery store. For products you can't find at any other grocery store they have anything you can dream of and the varity of items is impressive they probly have 30 or more verity of rice for example. The only thing is my wife hats the fish section she says it smells like a warf
They have an incredible food section inside the supermarket (amazing food and the portions they give you are massive), relatively cheap prices for grocery's!
Awful place. Very dirty and unorganised. Once I found a dead fly on packed meat. They don't get returns or exchanges on electronic items. On the positive side they have a variety of Asian food you can't get anywhere else.
Great variety and there prepared food sections is awesome. I would recommend this place to everyone i know
Whatever country you are from just go there are a lot to purchase. Nice store, well arranged and neat.
Good place for all kinds of food at cheap rate
Long lines when usually 3 unmanned tils. Fish in tanks look beat up and cramped. Employees give attitude and don't speak much English so impossible to ask what you're looking for. Was once led all over the store as they pointed to random things trying to figure out what I was asking for.
Needs some improvement on customer service. Cashiers are always frustrated. I hope we can get better service.
Love the place prices are great food fresh an love it
Cashiers are rude!! But the selection was pretty good and the gent working at the fish counter was hilarious
Awesome place, excellent food,I love it,you should try it.
I’ve been going to Multifood for years, and I’m so disappointed. I purchased some Jongga brand rice cakes to make soup. I looked to expiration date, which is normally there, and I couldn’t find it as hard as I looked and decided to get two bags anyway. After cooking, I noticed that they tasted so weird; they had clearly gone bad. Under direct sunlight, I could see that the expiration date looked like it had been physically rubbed off! So disappointed in a store I’ve gone to for so many years.
They are keeping alive fish in a very small aquarium.I know that the fish are still going to die but its not okay to see them suffer like that.
Great prices, and chinesse food taste really good
It is perfect and the staff was organized but I have a hard connection with the employers
This is a great Asian grocery. There is a hot food bar as well for takeout Chinese food. A large selection of drinks from a variety of countries are available including Jarritos brand soda and a variety of ramune (marble soda). The bakery has a large selection of prepackaged Asian buns and such, like pork buns. There is a butcher and fishmonger and the produce section carried some produce that isn't typically found in regular grocers.
Its a big place and one of the better options around the area. Although its predominantly an Asian market you do get most of the usual groceries as well. But the great thing is that you get a lot of local Asian foods that you won't get too easily at Freshco or Food Basics. They've also got some take-out food counters at the back, and i usually find a good deal on the eggs. Stuff is decently priced as well.
The location is very convenient, the prices are reasonable, the cashiers are cordial and the store provides a large assortments of food items to choose from. On a selfish note, I would like to see a more diversified workforce that represents the store's clientele. This perspective is from a consumer perspective, without the knowledge of the storekeeper's budget and mandate. Overall, it is an amiable environment to shop in. The hours are also convenient. Peter Ijeh, Esq !
Great place to get what I want !
My grandson and I love this store, all kinds of fresh vegetables and the Chinese ready cooked food is fabulous, great prices. Many kitchen gadgets at fair prices and unusual items , like blue and white ceramic flower pots.
This is the go to store for what the chain grocery stores term as "ethnic" food. A truly full service grocery store including fresh meats, fish and prepared hot food. The produce section was amazing - products were fresh and prices were fair. So delighted to be able to purchase some hard to find items, with lots of variety and choice throughout the entire store.
Great place to find international food. They have an amazing refrigerated drink selection as well as a huge selection of produce. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
The food there is delicious and they are very generous, for $10 plus tax you can have rice or noodles, 2 kinds of meat, 2 kinds of veggies. they have delicious international snacks which I love. grocery shopping there is somewhat expensive comparing to Walmart or food basics.
Excellent source for hard-to-find / unique Asian items. Prices are good, especially compared to the large chains. Their kitchen wares section is actually quite nice as well, if a bit small. If you're sensitive to fishy smells, you'll find 1/4 of the store unbearable, but that's probably the main complaint I'd have about it.
Has a great selection and variety!
Great place, lot of good stuff and different variety of stuff from different countries. A very good meat section that gives you a lot of options in great prices, fish section is vast and they also have some live fish and crabs. They also have a kitchen tgat provides really tasty stuff in real good prices, really worthwhile....
Smells and not good customer service at all wouldn't recommend to anyone went back and it was much better
Great variety but unprofessional staff. Hard to communicate with most of the staff as they don't understand English well.
Nice supermarket with lots of Asian variety of veg and non veg foods. Costing is average, cheaper than freshco for non vegeterian items and somehow around or slightly costly for veg items. Huge collection of noodlea available from which you could choose from.
Had home delivery service, pick fresh and delivery fast. if there was short of stock got calling in and switch brand in same price. Thank you very much for service.
This grocery outlet has a large selection of Asian foods. Trying to find someone that you can ask for assistance is not an easy task, however once I did they led me in the right direction.
I brought some sweet from the store when I got home I unwrapped it was molded. I did not bother to go back and return it was only 2.00 on Sunday my daughter told me the bbn uns was molded. Today I unwrapped the chinese broccoli all the leave were yellow. I don't think I would do my grocery at Multfood
Stood there at the meat counter for over ten minutes so that the ONE guy working can start helping other people before time that walked up after. Shut this place down
I would rate this place 0 star if I could. Have been shopping here since this place opened, in the past, I personally have bought items that were way pasted its Best Before date, but only one or two items every time. Today, I went to this place, bought some snacks, a lots of them didn’t even have a B.B. date, and most of the items that I didn’t check on site were found expired. I feel very disappointed with this place
Amazing Grocery Store wherein you get Chinese food, fish and Halal meat under one roof. A wide range of products available.
This place is unique, lot's of different products from around the world. Good fishh, but not the best. Lots of vegetables and spices.
At first, they try to get a good impression on low price and lots of servings on they're hot food section. But now, raised up they're price by NOT just a few. But more than a dollar and less servings on most of their item. Let's try to switch on the smaller businesses.???? They are monopolizing the city to close the smaller ones. Then ...... they can do whatever they want. It's been a while since I bought hot food on this dump. So I got to try it since I'm a bit hungry. It's really getting worst. Besides raising their prices by A LOT. And servings are almost half of what it used to be when they started. And now it's much worst. They fill up your servings with LLOOOTTTSS of onions, bellpepers, celeries and carrots. Things that instead of being thrown away because it's starting to rot. They mix it in the servings. Sometimes even it's not called for that ingredients. Just a fill up. Stop. Stop. Stop patrionizing this place. REMEMBER! It could be PLASTIC chicken, beef, pork, or vegetables your putting in your families table. Not to forget ...... the famous plastic rice.
It's the biggest Asian market/grocery store around here. They carry a lot of items and fresh tropical fruits, vegetables and fish and meat. The staff however is not at all helpful or friendly and sometime even rude. Some of the products they carry other than veggies and meat might be expired and/or molding. 99% of the time the check out girls would just toss you the bags and stand and watch you bag or even rush you out by scanning the next in line and pushing their stuff towards you.
As a student I honestly lived a year eating the hot food here. When I first started going it was $9 for a HUGE box of food that they could barley close. But now it's $11. Which is kinda crappy. But still more then you get at any other fast food place.
The butcher puts the wrong price on my meat. I tell the cashier, she has an attitude. So I go back to the butcher and In the process another cashier asks me to see my receipt for the meat …get the price changed and then the original cashier rudely tells me to go see customer service because she’s not going to help me. Who runs this place?!
Amazing meat. Lots of things to try lol. Just make sure to check the expiry dates; we wanted to buy buns but we noticed that some of them were spoiled and expired.
They have a hot food market which is great for a quick and tasty take away lunch though they do have some tables upstairs to eat at as well. Always interesting options for you to pick from for a quick and tasty lunch or dinner.
A place where you find items from India China, Bangladish , Pakistan and other Asian countries easily. Quality is good. Store is properly managed by Chinese administration. Staff is caring and co-operative. A portion inside the main hall has been reserved for cooked food. Here you find food of your country. It can provide Halal items for Muslims. An area for dining is at first floor. Store cleaning is well maintained. Ample car parking is outside the store. You can enjoy light food and drinks about 200 steps at Tem Horten. Shopping from the store is an enjoyment especially when you see your country made items in shelves.
Suggestion.....cashiers need to be a little more courteous.
I have to say, I would like to question their schedule for staffing. It feels like, they want to maximize customer wait time. Also, watch out on their "Special". They did tried to misled you. Another example is, an item is 2 for $4, or $2.50 each. If you buy 3, they would charge $4+$2.50=$6.50. Other grocery shop will honour the discount amount as long as you bought 2 or more, ($4/2)x3=$6.00.
Love it. Fresh fruit and veg, excellent prices and best of all, a wide variety of fresh fish.
Very good store. Has many varied foods from all over the world. Quality is good. Foods, candies, deserts, spices, salts, teas, drinks etc. From middle East, Europe. China, Indochina, India, Caribbean, South America, Mexico etc. I enjoy just shopping around in the store. Lots to learn and enjoy. Customers from every ethnicity very friendly and always willing to explain how to prepare foods.
Yesterday I was at Multifood. Saw a package of corn tortillas for $2.99, thought was a good price, but when I got to the checkout, she charged me $3.29. I said, "I think the price posted for the product was $2.99 and I'm going to check." She said, "It doesn't matter what price you saw. The price you are going to be charged, the price that matters, is the one that is in the computer system." I told her I bought the product because the displayed price was $2.99, but she was unmoved. Eventually a low-level manager checked to see what price was posted and I followed along. It was $2.99. When he lifted the $2.99 price info paper, underneath was one that said $3.29. The guy acted surly, and like he was being tortured, and how dare he have to issue a refund for the difference, but after leading us to Customer Service, he did. Multifood has some good prices on some difficult to find items, but their attitude to the consumer is misinformed, dismissive, unethical and potentially dangerous to your wallet.
Wide variety of food. Fresh local lamb is great.
I used to go to this store a lot. Up until recently, the line at the cashier gets ridiculously long, the store smells like feet as soon as you enter the building. Yes there are wide varieties of items you really cant find elsewhere, but be aware of the prices and the expiration date. Some items can go bad within a day, and the prices doesn't always match with the shelf. They also increased the price for the take out food. The neighborhood is a bit iffy, not only the store needs a thorough cleaning but the parking lot badly needs a renovation and graffiti removal.
I love this store they have the freshest produce and a huge selection of Asian foods amazing!!!
Loved it! Good prices! Big box of large ataulfo mangos for $9.99...can't beat that!!some veggies I've never even seen before! Just wish they had a flyer..I felt like I was back in Bangkok...????????????
Huge selection of meat and fresh fish. Fruits and vegetables priced very reasonable. If you are looking for a spice that is difficult to find this is the place.........and again priced reasonably. The store is very clean and staff were extremely helpful in assisting me on finding some products.
Half the place is better than Lia pierces brain, she's a no good crackhead/ crackdealer, how she gonna say this place smells bad lol she beats up elderly men. Multifood is a great place, the store smells just fine, maybe Lia should shower
Everything especially related to Asian region. But lot need to improve customer service
Great store. Need more selection of fish.
The hot food that we got from the restaurant yesterday was sour and tasted terribleand old. Please if your vegetables are going bad do not use them for cooking at the restaurant. Find the prices a bit expensive.
Nice store but prices are high. I do want to mention their food court..... is is awsome . Especially their $9.95 combo meal . It taste great and portions are huge
Incredible multicultural food selection. Smells rather ripe because of live seafood, but you are sure to find mostly anything you need from outside of North America
Lots of different nationality foods here Is getting much cleaner and friendlier service Hot tables for Chinese food take out is best deal in town
I have never had an item that I could not find at Multifood (and usually for a fraction of the cost of competitors). The produce section especially is amazing, with ripe fruit from every continent, carefully stored in a fridge in the back of the store at night. Both butchers have high quality meat at low prices, and for those with a tight budget, like myself, there's an entire aisle dedicated to instant meals and inexpensive snacks. The hot counter is also great; I've gone there to get take-out even when other restaurants were open, and would recommend it highly. Really, the only drawback is that occasionally, if youre there at rush hour, things can get a bit chaotic, but if you can schedule around it (usually i would avoid going from 3:00-5:30, but Google keeps track of that as well, so you can always check), it's a very pleasant shopping experience. If you need groceries (or snacks!) in the Windsor area, I definitely recommend Multifood.
Staff members have no manners (ZERO MANNERS, food court staff included), there's no gretting while checking out, they don't even say the total price or even ask if you want a bag or not. They NEVER clean the debit machines or shopping carts and there is zero social distancing. They sell expired items and get away with it somehow?! The store smells and I've seen a RAT there twice, not once but TWICE! I wouldn't be surprised if they get shut down.
Service could definitely be better but my favourite place to get asian ingredients in Windsor. Massive variety in the store. Always enjoy getting lunch while I'm there.
A good place to buy vegetables and chicken in affordable price
Love the diversity of foods. My first time shopping here, definitely making it a place I'm shopping at a couple times a month
HUGE selection of Asian essentials. Everything you need for cooking Asian food, you can find here. They have a live seafood station, and you can see the fish/lobsters/whatever swimming around. They also have a dining area that serves some Americanized chinese food. Not bad for the price.
This place Could do better with cleanliness. Specially staff in meat area ! Asian man was sick n coughing everywhere no attempt to cover up while very bad cough and I spotted him smoking outside then immediately go inside n serve customers! Very Unsanitary!
Love this store...recently started making thai food and they have everything I need.
Awesome live seafood selection. Seems always fresh. If into asian cooking. A must to see.. Huge selection of other asian products.
Growing up very WASPY this place offers a great selection of foods that is quite frankly unknown to me. But i like that because trying new foods is an adventure. The quality is top notch and price is cheaper than most big box places . Give it a try! You won't regret it, in fact if you're like me it will be a enjoyable outing.
Most of the on sale products are either expired or close to expired. Be cautious!
It's great store you can get anything you need. But they need to go for training how to talk to the people. There's no one would talk to you nice. They look at you up and own. The day i went there i asked one of the stuff if he can direct me the halal yogurt. But boy he was rude to me. I was scared. Even the front cashiers are the same. Am sorry to give one star but i wish i could give zero.
They were caught price gouging $50 for face masks and $20 for hand sanitizer. Now they are forcing you to wear a mask if you want to go in and charging $1 at the door for the mask. These people are slime.
Great selection. Lots of variety for everyone. Customer service is very poor. Management should look at it.
Multifood is a good store for picking up items for Asian cuisine. Multifood has a lot of items and selection that most other grocery stores do not carry, specifically for cooking Asian cuisine. Multifood wasn't very busy, though I spent about 50 minutes looking for snacks, specifically to go with Asian cuisine. Multifood has drag fish for many dishes in Asian cuisine.
Multifood Supermarket offers a variety of international food products. Meat and fish section could benefit from staff wearing appropriate sanitary attire. Be mindful when you buy stuff that they put on sale; I find that most of them are expired or about to expire.
Chinese food ???? ???? and stocking up on fruit yum
A lot of fresh products with Asian sections too.
Needs to be more clean, and the guy who sells fish needs to make sure the dead fish are taken from the tank right away. I saw dead fish floating in the same tank as live ones. Poor fish.
Great selection. Good products at fair prices for the isles I could go into. Only, but HUGE setback is this store smells strongly of what I'm guessing is seafood products at the back of the store. I had to shove my nose down and lift my perfumed shirt and I still couldn't stand the smell to go down more than the first few isles. Thankfully all the produce and noodles etc that I needed were in those.
This location asked to see my "documents" of proof of a medical exemption. Last time I checked this IS still Canada. Next they'll be asking for your fkn health card. Disgusting
There are a lot of seefood and i really like it. If you find oysters, go there.
The store could be cleaner...and much social distancing in practice....lots of products to choose ..and I find they're oranges are really good
Someone rear-ended my car when I was inside, wife and child were in the car when it happened. They just tapped the vehicle but never even got out of the car to see if they were ok just reversed, waved his hand as some sign of an apology or something and then parked two spots over. Anyway good store nice selection cheap prices. Just park somewhere away from the front
Someone please call health unit for this place, they don't have any regulations about social distance. I complain multiple time but no body care.
Fresh vegitables and fruits and many variety of them. But all goods are on the pricy side
My first visit. Good prices and worldwide selection. Will be back.
It is nice but prices are not so fair.
Wow. I was amazed. Fruit and vegetables I have ever seen before. All very fresh. So much fresh and even live fish. The products in that ace are amazing!
This place is awesome. You want food from all over the world? Go here. Go home. Cook.
Food are great and clean area this is the place I buy my groceries only thing I don't like employees are rude and don't even help to find stuff Also cashier never talk and smile no respect for costomer need to replace each and every cashier from this store.
Very good spot for Asian ingredients, it can all be found here. Extremely good prices. Walleye for 4.99 a pound, fresh on ice. Great spot!
Very interesting. Super vegetables and fruit. Excellent meat prices. Big fish selection. The environment and the staff are down to earth and very practical.
The workers there all pretend they No understand English. But their food buffet is delicious ????.
I saw the video of an employee blowing his nose all over the floors in the produce isles and he wasn't quite about it and no one stopped him. I will never shop there again
So many different types of food if you like a variety of foods or fruits fresh.
It has lots of variety, cashier section would improve if it were more spacious. It is hard to leave when only buying from the ready food place. You have to stand in line and wait to leave.
Good place for groceries in this part of the town but they dont know a thing about customer service. Most of people working there are rude and hardly speak english . Always check the expiration date of the products you buy from there as they do sell products which have passed their expiration date.
This is a great place with exceptional variety of Asian food, even south asian! We wanted some goat meat and went there for it, ended up buying whole other things like instant ramen and miso soup. Great variety of vegetables and spinach as well which you won’t get in regular grocery stores.
This place has is one of those "everything and anything" stores. Their produce and meat/fish selection is very exotic (if you are looking for that obscure Asian ingredient this is the place...produce item or not) and of seemingly superb quality. Displays were well maintained and overall the store was very clean. They stock not only Asian grocery items but many brands familiar in North America. They have a hot buffet and it is seriously one of the BEST in Windsor....a must for lunch if you work near by.
I love the selection, but store and parking lot are usually messy, some things I bought were long expired and was told no refunds after purchase. Some things I will keep going back to buy, but will be cautious of dates.
Has South East asian foods market but needs more variety. T&T supermarket or Seafood city supermarket has way more South East Asian products..
A great international food grocer with soooooo much selection. There's a nice hot counter as well. And so many unusual things to try out. Lots of cool stuff get for the kids too, be it cool pops from around the world or strange candies etc.
Today we had a bad experience at the seafood section, we usually buy every other Months a salmon fish about 10 lb to 14 lb (usually value $75 to $90), today We asked the sales man pick a fish from the Freezer(everytime they do so), we dont like the fish as the fish was Small size about 7 to 8 lb. We asked for show Another one they 1st refused than bring another one , also if he show another one we must have get one ,we chose 1 (8.5 lb value about $57)than they asked for Pay 1st , we fill they are insulting us I pay at the cashier. We are shopping here since they're start business in windsor (before we usually shop from world food market at Dougal ave) here is no competitor so there customer service are so poor I wish another same kind of business coming in windsor so we have Better customer experience.
Unique Asian and indeed Continental grocery store for everyone who desire a one stop shopping experience especially if you are a lover of Sea foods, they have no rivals when it comes down to Sea foods.
The staff there have no idea of good customer service. I saw one staff drop the ready to eat food on the floor and he just put it back to the container and continue to sell it to the customers. When we complained it to the customer service, the lady just did nothing about it
