I go here for everything I need for my fish and frogs, and overall tank care. I have gotten fish, snails, and shrimp from them and never had any issues/diseases come from them. All the fish -always- look healthy and lively. On top of it, the staff is absolutely amazing and very knowledgeable. Always greeted with a smile and always good conversation. Love this place.

I've been twice, personally. The staff did not speak to me for the first 10 minutes, however when I had questions they answered to the best of their knowledge and I appreciated their information (a young lady, she was very knowledgeable). It is small, a little cramped. The animals were in small, but fairly well kept. I'm concerned most about the several times I've had my own customers come back to where I work to say the staff here bad-mouth their competition. Besides that I still send people their way for feeders when we're out, as I care about the welfare of the animal. Not sales.

We have been to other pet stores in the city and nobody will ever compare to the service we have gotten and still receive from Aqua Animania. We live in LaSalle and we take the 15-20 minute drive just to go to this store. The service we get, the smiles and little conversations we have every visit is worth the drive. They know exactly what they are talking about, they give us the best advice with our reptiles and little tips on how to keep their tank clean. I highly recommend this pet store to anybody and everybody. At their peek times with a store full of customers and employees with everybody they make sure everyone is taken care of fairly and also known that they will be with them within minutes and follow through. By far the best pet store Windsor Ontario has ever seen.

I went to this fish store wanting to love it. I really did. Until I got home and realized they were crooks. They sold me 1 silver dollar (never mentioned they were schoolers and my tank was too small, despite me telling them the size of the tank). They insert die into some of their tetras (hence having 'fruit loop' tetras). I am glad i didn't buy one when the man tried to sell me one, without mentioning to me how short their life spans are. The fish were extremely expensive and came with a healthy dose of ick.

Visited twice to set up a new fishtank. I’m new to Windsor and this place was recommended to me. Not exactly the experience I was expecting. Staff members have a weird attitude. They’re knowledgeable forsure. However they are not very approachable and seemed awkward upon interaction. Unprofessional is the best way to describe it. I didn’t really feel like my business was appreciated and I have no incentive to return.

Great place if you want to be talked down too, have eyes rolled at you simply for asking about fish. Called and asked about the price of a certain fish, went to buy said fish and found out the fish was sick. When asked why they didn't say nothing over the phone, got eyes rolled at us by daddy's little girl who smugly replied "You should have asked if they were sick" WOW didn't know you should ask a pet store who sells animals if their fish is sick. Then this smug little girl went on to say "I could sell you sick fish if you want" when we voiced our displeasure. Very very rude. Will NEVER bring our business to them again! And we spend HUNDREDS on fish supplies monthly.

I called here today and I was greeted by a really passive-aggressive clerk on the other line. I was looking to purchase a plain-jane goldfish for my kids to care for and watch. We already have all the supplies needed and thought this would be a great way to teach them responsibility and keep them entertained during strange times. Sadly, I felt berated by the clerk as she questioned me, "and you wanna fill your tank with feeder fish?!?" I calmly explained to the clerk my situation and then that I didn't appreciate how the tone of the call was going (the clerk was seemingly annoyed by my call) and she got very defensive when I said I found her tone to be rude. I am simply trying to support a local small business and contribute to the mental wellbeing of my kids. By the way, I was looking for 1 single goldfish not an entire school. But rather than giving me a caring family-friendly experience like their website claims, I was consistently made to feel like my request was unworthy of kindness or her attention . The clerk also called me "hun" which I just find really unprofessional especially given the tone of the call. I was treated like a telemarketer when I was only trying to give them a shot at some business - who knows, they could have gained loyal customers for life in my family. After coming here and validating my opinion of this business based on some of the poor reviews saying similar things, I am glad I dodged a bullet. The clerk did reference that she was attempting to educate me (with the condescending commentary) - however the whole tone of the call & what she was saying to me was really negative and unfortunately her knowledge was not passed on because I was made to feel so incredibly unwelcome and uncomfortable. I think that there is a real niche for this kind of business in Windsor but it looks like this staff member needs some additional customer service training. I did end the call by providing the feedback above, and then by wishing her a good day. I am not an angry or confrontational person and I hope this business can thrive despite the staff that seem to be generating poor impressions in the community.

Terrible customer service. Gave me a massive run around to exchange a ten dollar fish. My water turned out to be okay and then they proceeded to think of every other excuse. Apparently they sold me $100 in angel fish that we’re having problems yet they neglected to inform me of this at the time of purchase. The owners daughter was present at the time of me trying to exchange my dead fish and she gave me massive attitude, stated I was being confrontational, and over all poor manners when speaking to client of any time especially one who spent over $500 in their store the day before. She also told my wife to not have me return to their store. I once liked this store but I will never return again. Unless you like getting ripped off embarrassed and have someone play games with you I highly suggest not going to this store.

I expected a lot more from the reviews!...It is disappointing to see African Cichlids mixed with South American Cichlids...they require different water parameters and PH levels...this tells me immediately they are no true specialists. Worth the trip to Mississauga if you want nice cichlids!

When in this afternoon, I wanted to buy from the back room where they have the coral, fish etc. Nothing is for sale they’re worried about not getting more, in the business world who cares if you run out ,You make the money when the sun shines. So don’t waste your time and go there for nothing to buy fish and coral. I was told they would charge me for every flower on a 3 inch rock around $200 wow bring a Wallet PS everyone working in the store today did not have a mask.I continue to get reviews every day and they say the same old story there’s nothing for sale in the back room, that part I will never understand I cannot see the staff not wearing masks to protect the public and vice versa

Our pond pump failed and my fish were boiling. After checking Amazon we discovered this store was competitively priced. The very knowledgeable and friendly young lady was patient while explaining our replacement options over the phone. The owner even stayed open late for me so I could drive across the county for pick up. After one minute of unpacking and installation my koy are swimming happily again. I'll see you for my next pond or pet supply soon.

Overpriced. Exact same 125 Gallon Marina tank with black Monarch Stand; they sell for $1600. Big Al's sells for $1300 and also ads a lighting system and filter worth $500. Rude owner told me if I want to waste more money on gas go ahead, shes had two people tell her that today alone.

A great place to go for all your pet supplies, family-owned so of course you should always support family-owned businesses, and really friendly it's where I go to get the food for my little critters every week. Find the guy that comes in for the hornworms.

Everyone I go there I am treated badly by the owners daughter with the red hair. I have followed her advice and when the results are not what they are supposed to be she blames me. Today she took the time to embarrass me in front of customers. So if you like being treated badly...shop there. There's a reason there are many Petsmarts and only one Aquamania. People shop at places they are treated well. Worst customer service skills.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! We are new to the whole fish tanks and measurements of a stand, we went in there expecting to come out with fish, accessories and a stand for our tank. When we walked in I asked one of the workers there (owner I beleive) that im looking for a stand to hold a 40 gallon fish tank he said I will check in the back. So my family and I waited 10 mins, come to find out hes busy loading fridges for some guy in the back room. I finally went to him and said did you find any stands? He said no i havent looked ive been so busy trying to load these fridges. ( WHY DO YOU HAVE FRIDGES IN YOUR STORE, AND WHY ARENT YOUR CUSTOMERS COMING FIRST?) very very bad customer service. Then we approached a bigger guy working there, and told him our measurements for our tank, he looked at me stupid and said theres no such thing. And he had a bad attitude, so we finally walked out empty handed. NEVER will i ever give them a DIME of my money!

Went in and bought some live plants and 2 siamese algae eaters, the next day1 of the algea eaters was dead. I called multiple times, no answer so I left a message, no one returned my call. I also found a leech in one of my plants. Which were way overpriced. I got plants from pet smart which were less than half price. If you don't mind shotty after service and paying more this is the place for you. As far as fish go, I'll go to pet wise just down the road. Better service and a large selection

None of the owner or two employees were wearing masks during a covid-19 mask mandate. There was no social distancing, the owner approached me very closely and I had to back up. The corner aisle was being blocked by two employees standing close together and without masks. I waited for them to move away, and finally when I was noticed, one employee came very close to me so that I again had to back up. I made a comment about wearing masks, and the second employee who was still blocking my way, said in a sarcastic voice, "Oh, 'll put on a mask for YOU!" I said, "I'll just leave and started walking out." On my way out, I said to the owner, "I guess maybe you have a choice about the masks, but the sarcasm is not right." The second employee was now taking her mask off again and all three swere standing close together. The second employee said, "We all have medical conditions!" Please. I said, MY mask protects YOU, how do you protect ME? I don't think I will ever come back!" And while mu hand was on the door, the second employee kinda yelled," Good! DONT come!" Wow. The tanks were pretty empty but I would have bought everything on my list that they had - glow danios, rasboras, tetras, gourami, plants, real Siamese algae fish, and also another big led light! Big mistake. HUGE

Went there to get some live rock for my salt water tank over the weekend. People there are super nice, very knowledgeable and very patient. Love this place. First time there and if I lived closer I would come there often. I live an hour away. I also called a few times to ask questions and the different people I spoke to were super nice on the phone and answered all my questions. I highly recommend this place to anyone.

You fools. This isn't even the correct fish store from the video. Stop posting fake reviews just based on the video. They're both literally different stores with different interiors, and this one even sells birds. You're all just believing a store originally linked by some random commenter on the video who listed random fish stores from all over the world with his proof being "it has good ratings." Hell, his first link lead to a German fish store, until people mentioned they didn't speak German. Then he posted this store, with his rationale being "good ratings." For some reason everyone is believing that link and are spreading it as the real fish store...
