Food was good although a little pricy. Waitress did not coordinate our orders. Appetizers came in 2 minutes before the main course came.(Defeats the purpose of ordering Appetizers) Offered very little if any apology. Blamed it on the kitchen staff. Not sure that I will go back again.

Went here for my birthday. They were super accommodating for my large family (including two toddlers) considering the size of the restaurant. Great views, great atmosphere, great service. The staff was awesome. The food was amazing. We shared a bunch on their appies to start. For my entree I got the duck, which was falling off the bone and full of flavour. For dessert we shared two of their cakes which were so unique and delicious. The only (minor) thing I have to complain about are the sides that came with the entrees, were mediocre and not very good. I couldn't even finish them. Wilted greens? No thanks. I can't wait to find an occasion to come back and try some other yummy items on the menu!

Location was nice, beautiful view of the beach and water. Service was good. Prices were high. Ordered focaccia and they brought soda bread instead. Hubby ordered schnitzel, I found it a little dry, there was no sauce. Restaurant was busy. We were seated right by the front door which was constantly opened and it felt like a gale force wind was coming in. The restaurant was nicely decorated, clean and it was very busy.

Solid lunch menu with burgers being the star of the show, and the bar gets top marks for making a solid cocktail ????????. The hill on the way down to front street there is going to give me nightmares for awhile but other than that it was a good day. Area gets super busy so make sure to make a reservation.

The view is impeccable and if by chance anything is ever off, they will make it right immediately. When you eat here you are fed well and treated even better. Burger was excellent. Almond flour cake was superb. Bison Carpaccio is good but I would suggest asking for less capers as they put quite a few on which elevates the saltiness. Service was good. My sister and I had a great time at Uli's last Friday night. We shared a fabulous bottle of wine, the chicken thighs and shared a burger (with 2 bowls of clam chowder). Everything was tasty with excellent preparation and presentation. The place was clean and all Covid protocols were in place.

The quality of the food was all over the place; the vongole pasta was too bland and the sandwich was too salty. We were disappointed in the presentation of the grilled caesar, and when we told the manager, he had the audacity to tell us that it was a "shame" that we didn't like it and that we should try it next time (to be fair, he did take it off the bill) The waitress was really nice, but the food quality and manager's words were very questionable.

I read the reviews and had to try this place myself. Arrived at 6 with a reservation and was promptly seated on the patio. We ordered the 2.0 burger and Calamari. Chose to get it cooked medium (this is the key). This was the best burger I've had. I just returned from Las Vegas and had the Gordon Ramsey burger, and this was better.. much better. Cocktails were also on point. Their Moscow mule was perfect.

Very unpleasant dining experience, overpriced mediocre tasting food, rude staff, watered down drinks. I made reservations one month in advance for my boyfriend's birthday, at 6pm on Saturday. We arrived on time and one of the servers told us that "our table wasn't ready" and told us to sit in the so called "heated patio". The patio was barely heated, I was shivering and they did nothing to check up on us. They just asked us if we wanted to order drinks. We ordered 2 drinks. My cocktail, the painkiller, tasted very watered down and it was falsely advertised as having 2.5 oz of spirits, however , it tastes more like watered down juice. I was unable to taste any hint of alcohol, and for $14 , I was expecting much more. I then asked the server about our table. Our server, the blonde woman, told us that " the reservations before you came in late and so your table isn't ready", in a very condescending tone with an annoyed facial expression. She made it seem like it was my fault that the table was late for their reservations. She then told us that if we ordered the appetizer, that it would "be on us". Fine . Then we waited another 30 mins, in the freezing cold and our server finally brought us to our table. We were seated and we ordered our entrees. The male server (the younger one), delivered our meals and he asked me if "there was anything else I that I needed?". I told him just some more napkins please. He never brought it over. Surprise, surprise ! We were ignored the whole night and we even had to flag down our waitress for the bill. All the servers were inattentive, except for the water person, who did a good job topping off our water. All the other staff made us feel like we were unwanted there. Our server and the man who sat us outside were unwelcoming, unfriendly and distant . When I paid, our server asked if I was going to use card, I said yes. I paid for my bill using my debit card, but the waitress was standing right beside me, while I was punching in my numbers the whole entire time, which I thought was both strange and rude, and it felt like she was invading my privacy. My forester schnitzel was a huge portion, but it was virtually tasteless and chewy, it was not tender at all. The pork needed more salt and something acidic. The mashed potatoes was although creamy, was very bland tasting. The best part of the dish was the red cabbage. I was expecting more, since they have been in business for more than 30 years along the white rock strip. I understand that restaurants now have to take extra time and precautions to clean and sanitize, which I totally understand and I am fine about, but to wait for 30 mins for a confirmed reservation is ridiculous. The food and drinks were overpriced and mediocre tasting. Servers were inattentive and rude. There are far better restaurants out there. So much for supporting local. Avoid this place!

Amazing atmosphere, the patio has a great view and lots of heaters so you can sit there even over winter. The food is amazing, we had pasta and a burger there and everything was really good. The service was even better, the staff seem to really enjoy working there and have fun as they are working, the owner was there upon our visit and he is a very friendly and personable person and took the time to get to know us and share some laughs. Will definitely go back it was a very good experience.

Great location on the white Rock strip. A meal with a view, not much more you could ask for. We came here for national cheeseburger day and they did not dissapoint. Meat is brought in daily and you can definitely taste the freshness and quality of the meat. The burgers were so juicy and flavorful paired with the shoe string fries was perfect. Fries were super crispy and well seasoned. Did not have that old fryer oil taste.

The food is always SO GOOD. I don't think I've ever came here and got bad food or service! Try their shoe string fries seriously 10/10, bohemian salad, the Rockefeller oyster (baked oyster) .. and basically everything else is a must try! You will not be disappointed by anything on their menu. (At least i wasn't) they also have a patio overlooking the pier which is perfect for a sunny day. I have yet to try their dessert but the pictures look awesome! Can't wait to come back here again

Okay way beyond 5 star wonderful experience received right from the introduction all the way through by all staff and management. Being a pet friendly patio makes a huge difference and we realize staff has keep close attention to detail to maintain professional balance with all the other guests which they do an excellent job at. Both Hailey and Dean looked after us and made sure that our dining experience was very memorable and pleasant. We will definitely return along with telling friends and family about this beautiful restaurant.

With the White Rock Pier being repaired and reopened, after a day down in South Surrey it was decided dinner and a sunset after a walk on the pier was in order. Uli's has long perched above the start of the pier. It hosts a scratch kitchen with lically sourced produce. We went on burger night and the chef served up some truly mouth-watering burgers. The servers were charming, knowledgable and engaging. I opted for the spicy hot 7.0, while my parents chose the Uli's Original. Shoestring fries on 2, a Large Caesar salad on the other. Oktoberfest for this month, some quality German style beers or a tangy root beer as beverages. While a bit pricey, the quality of the meals made it money well spent, happily spent and food even more happily devoured.

Excellent restaurant. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Warm and inviting atmosphere. The food is always great. Westcoast cuisine with some German staples. Their burger menu is elevated from you would come to expect from a burger. Try their Oyster Rockerfellah, it's one of the best I've ever encountered. Beer menu is fantastic. Draught lines are craft, and their bottle selection has limited beers and Europeans that are not commonly seen elsewhere. Good views of the water from the covered patio.

Overall was a nice experience with a pleasant view and good coffee, but felt the price was high for the quality of the food(over $21 for a basic Eggs Benedict), and we were kind of made to feel like an inconvenience for not having a reservation rather than being welcomed.

We came in for the Parallel 49 pairing dinner this week and were blown away. Clarke and the rest of the Uli’s staff did an amazing job of pairing the beers with the uniquely built menu for the evening. Great food, great drinks, and as always amazing service. Great restaurant with a nice patio/view and great service. Location does not get too much car noise. It has a great view of the pier and the water. Hostess was very friendly and kept refilling our water. Very laid back atmosphere. Food was average. Most entrees are $30+ and quality is not there. Steak was ok, tasty but with hard pieces. Veggies were under cooked and bland. Breaded fish was fish and chips was dark, almost over cooked. Presentation is good and attention to detail.

Food was amazing. So much flavour. We ordered the short rib ragu and mushroom risotto. I could not pick a favourite. The portions are great, you get quite a bit and it's super filling. The dessert was alright. I forget what the dessert was called and they don't have the dessert menu online. I think the strawberry topping is too sweet and the entire thing just tasted alright. I feel like if maybe it were fresh strawberries it would be better as the custard and the French toast is so sweet already. Overall great experience. The servers were very attentive and friendly and we didn't have any issues there. Highly recommend trying it. I would definitely come back.

Uli's fried chicken was great and all the drinks we tried were also fantastic. My only issue was we got sat next to a very loud person and her dog Rosè which I didn't realize dogs were allowed in restaurants. Would have been a nicer experience without the dog yelping next to our table and in a quiet environment. After awhile they were moved to another table and the experience was much better and more calm.. Service was great.

The location adds up to whatever experience you have in Uli’s. In summer, in patio, overlooking the ocean, classic cars passing by, and weather all create a unique day. At weekends, you might have parking problem, but there is one beside the restaurant (Martin st.). The servers are really friendly and considerate. They recommend trying burgers as one of the best, so either do I. ???? The brunch is really good and I recommend Uli’s breakfast. Your only bread option is Rye which is good, but sourdough would be good if they had. ???? The burgers are also good choices and their dishes of burgers are almost similar in shape. ???? The corned beef hash has its own sauce and different taste which is a decent option to try. ☕️ The coffee tasted like average, but it works beside your breakfast or brunch. If you go there in summer, which is hot and the sun shines really strong, go for a splash pad on the other side and enjoy its super cool water beforehand, otherwise, sitting in patio under the table shade could be intolerable. Go for it and enjooooooy!

Uli's is the best pub/resteraunt in Surrey White Rock hands down. The 2.0 Burger is delicious and my go to order...until that is, I discovered their secret menu! Now I have to plan on trips back for 3.0 to 8.0 and more that I may not be aware of. The beers on tap are rotating and of a decent selection, bottled offers a few more. The service is attentive but casual, the patio is heated and the location gives views of the pier and water.

Our server Angelina was amazing! She was friendly and went out of her way to heat up my glass before putting my coffee in it. The food here is amazing and reasonably priced. Everything is cooked to order so it all tasted fresh and is locally sourced. There have only been a couple restaurants that I want to go back to again and this restaurant has become my top spot to want to try everything!

First time here was a disaster. About 2 years ago. They butchered my wife and I’s order. The burger came back very pink the first time so we asked them to recook it. Both came back link again. I asked for mine to be recooked my wife gave up and just picked at the cooked parts. Mine finally came back well done and tasted fine. Through a random series of recent events, Uli’s caught wind of this initial experience we had and offered to make it right (nothing was done at the time) by giving us a gift card to come back. We ordered take out last night (a 2.0 burger and a 4.0 burger). I preferred the 2.0 and my wife preferred the 4.0 but both of them were in the top 3 burgers we’ve both ever had. They were amazing. So glad Uli’s reached out to make things right even if it was years later. Truly 5 stars!

The server did not care one bit about us and in a way very rude to us. Had to wait for a long time for her, even though it was not busy. But I could see she went to the other tables a few times, were she only came to our table once. A disappointing lunch for sure. The quality was not there.

This bar/restaurant was excellent at dealing successfully with my allergies to gluten, dairy and other foods. My dining partners also really enjoyed the quality of the entirely scratch-made foods. Service was quite good considering the size of our party, and they were quick to respond to requests. The only issue I had was that it was really noisy and the parking was extremely hard to find.

The last two times I’ve been to Uli’s, my friends and I had the privledge to be served by Dean. Everyone in my group was so impressed by his attentiveness, friendliness, and all around amazing service. Even when it was clear that the restaurant was very busy, Dean still managed to balance everything he had going on and we never once felt neglected. There are few times I’ve been served that have actually stuck out to me, but Deans service is beyond memorable. Can’t wait to come back and be served by him again! The food is great. My favorites are the fish and chips (their in-house made ketchup is a must), chicken focassia sandwhich, and vegetarian benny. They have an awesome view on the patio as well. This is one of my favorite restaurants overall and definitely the best near white rock beach!

Although the restaurant was normally busy, he made sure to take the time to assure everything was perfect. The food was to die for, and we absolutely loved the Oysters! Made reservations on open table. One of the few restaurants that open at 11. Sat on the heated outdoor patio with gorgeous view. Food was great, we had the oyster Rockefeller, buffalo carpaccio and the oysters and mussels. Service and ambience was perfect. It was overall a very pleasant experience

At a friend's recommendation, went here to hang out and catch up over dinner. Was thoroughly impressed with the food that we ordered. We each got a burger (which was voted best in bc). And also split a paella between us. Words can not do it justice about just how good the food was. Service was good too, staff was nice and timely. Also great views to be had if you can get the patio seats. Definitely will come back and try the other menu items!

It was our first time at Ulis last evening. The food was excellent and so was the service. We had booked a table at 8pm and while booking, we were told that each table can hold a place for 90 minutes max and we thought it was absolutely fair and fine to say that. In this current pandemic time, it makes sense to be accommodating and understanding towards other guests as well. But not all think alike. When we reached a little past 8, the table that we were supposed to be given was occupied by another group and inspite of repeated requests from the staff of the restaurant, the party didn't seem to care much. They knew we were waiting, we had children with us,but nothing bothered them. They took their own time,dilly dallying , eyeing us but not caring, sipping wine. It was almost 830 when they decided to leave finally. My review is not for the restaurant, I give 5 stars to them for their food, their service and hospitality. They even offered dessert on the house as a note of appreciation for being patient with the delay on getting the table. But we , as responsible and sensible clients for a restaurant, should be more empathetic and understanding when we see others are waiting and lining up in the cold while we are chilling over a glass of wine. Covid seems to have impacted people in many different ways, one of which is losing fellow feeling and sensibility. Once again, 5 stars to the restaurant, for the food, the service, the smiling faces behind the masks and for the patience they have towards some not-so-understanding, inconsiderate guests. KUDOS TO ULIS!!!

Wow do they have a lot to learn about basic customer service standards and expectations. For starters the food was OK, decent at best (but unjustifiably over priced). Paid almost $200 for 3 people (no dessert). The venue itself was nice as well, but that's about it. The server did not perform the most basic customary and courtesy aspects of the job. Not a single time did he check in on the food asking how it was. Didn't even offer or bring pepper for soups and related dishes. I asked twice for extra napkins and that did not happen. A beer took a while to get to the table as they needed to start a new keg, instead of the standard apology it was "hey at least it's fresh". Not even a big deal, but actually hilarious that was the response now that I think about it more.... The sad part is the server (middle aged guy, might have even been a manager) didn't even seem to think there was an issue with his service based on his body language. I've learned to temper my expectations but at the prices I am paying I was hoping for at least the very basics be conducted with some sense of ability and professionalism. It was not busy either nor was it some young rookie doing the job. It's a shame as I was looking to give a big tip and support a restaurant in these tough times.

So I finally made it out to Uli’s, and made resos on a Wednesday afternoon for 6. Service was super friendly from start to finish! They gave us the option of inside or outside and we chose inside as it was empty except for 1 other party across the other end of the restaurant. The interior is bright and we sat by the window, with no obstructed view of the water. Their beer and wine selection is plentiful. We chose to with the German Erdinger Weissbier, a nice refreshing wheat beer that was so tasty I didn’t want to share and ordered my own ????. Our server poured it out for us in a tall glass perfectly. My kids got the kids menu burgers and frites but one with the house salad with Caesar dressing. They loved it! I tried the salad and the dressing was delicious! My hubby and I shared the beef dip with frites and a 2.0 burger with the seafood chowder . The beef dip was pretty good, but I only got rare hints of blue cheese with the half that I ate. The jus was really good! The chowder was very generously loaded with seafood and not too heavy. Frites were very crispy and they were generous with the amount! Now I was beyond excited for the burger because it had been recommended by so many and I was really pleasantly surprised that no one had mentioned to me that they didn’t cook them well done! I love medium cooked burgers and all of ours were cooked to perfection. It was definitely a messy, sauce dripping down your elbows burger! They did miss added bacon on my MIL’s 9.0 burger but rectified it very quickly. She got half frites, half Caesar and the Caesar was a full leafed Romaine with delicious looking large capers (she doesn’t like capers though) and generously topped with parm. She is a tough critic with burgers but thoroughly enjoyed hers! It was on the pricey side, but I love that they are a restaurant that prides themselves on farm-to-table, sourcing local beef and ingredients which doesn’t go unnoticed in the quality of the dishes! Our server was very passionate about how they cook their burgers and it was evident that he enjoyed working there. I’ll be back to try out another burger that I won’t be sharing next time, their brunch menu looked amazing, that beautiful view is hard to resist and their service is impeccable!

Always solid. We have been coming here for a few years since moving to White Rock and are always happy with our experience. The food is consistently good quality (yes, you can order a burger cooked medium with confidence) and the ingredients are either house-made or locally sourced - which makes it a more unique experience than typical. They have a pretty good selection of beers as well! Always recommend to friends.

I couldn’t believe the taste when I took my first bite. The best is that it stayed amazing and fresh tasting until the last bite. The meat quality is impressive. No weird cartilage pieces in the beef patty that you can encounter in some other burger places. Ordered the #02 burger and added extra bacon to it. It was an explosion of taste! The thin crispy fries are so tasty and stay crispy and tasty until the end. This truly is the best burger place in Vancouver area and I’m so glad I finally got to try it!

Decided on Uli’s After checking out their menu online. We made a reservation on a weekday in the summer, and we were glad we did as it was quite busy and we wanted to sit on the patio. We had the carpaccio, fish and chips and gnocchi, and our fantastic and the portions were generous. They have a great cocktail list, and some nice wines. Although the food was fabulous, the service was even better, personable, professional, efficient.

Tried this place after reading other Google reviews. Thanks everyone for a fantastic recommendation as it impressed our out of town guest. The service was great! Our server was awesome and always smiling. Our coffee was always topped up and the food came out all at once. You have to try the burger. So good and you can get it anyway you like it! You won't find this anywhere else. The crab benny was delicious and filled with crab not fillers. The pesto benny was so fresh and flavorful. Highly recommend this place. Definitely on my return list. Lastly, they also have a kids menu.

Extremely disappointed with my last experience at Ulis. The young hostess that greeted us was very sweet and welcoming, she helped us to our table promptly. Our waitress came to the table several minutes later, so we decided to order our drinks and food right away. I was served cheap orange juice that tasted like it was starting to go bad. Our food came and it would be hard to list everything that was wrong with it. I would have no problem paying $25 for a meal that looks and tastes atleast decent, but paying this amount for 50% of the plate to have brown plain lettuce is almost insulting. My crab cakes tasted like they had been out and exposed in the fridge for a while. I ordered my Benedict eggs to be cooked medium when the waitress asked, however they gave me hard fully cooked eggs. The sauce on top was bland and tasteless. The only tasty thing on the plate was the potatoes, which I ruined when I poured a “house made ketchup” that bubbled in my tongue as soon as I tried it. I told the waitress that their ketchup is going bad and she gave me a condescending attitude but no apology; she didn’t even offer to bring me a different ketchup or anything else. We had ordered the French toast which has been great in the past, but the server forgot about it so we didn’t get it. I asked the Hostess for our bill and the waitress came back to ask if I still wanted the French toast in a very rude way. I said if the order hadn’t been sent to the kitchen we didn’t want them anymore, but if they were on the way we would take them. Of course they hadn’t been sent. We got our bill and paid, but the server never apologized for serving me an expired ketchup (which makes me question if they even check the BB dates of their supplies and products) and she never Apologized for not bringing me the French toast we ordered. I don’t know if they have changed their cooks or not, but there is a massive difference between our previous experiences and this one. Lastly, the horrible service we got from the waitress makes it hard to think that we will ever come back.

We are still sitting at this restaurant while writing this review. The fish & chips was tasteless with some odd ammonia- like smell !! The Seafood Chowder was watery and salty. We were here 3 years ago, the food was good so we thought we would try again but end up very disappointed! We told the waitress about it. She offered a dessert to us but we refused. The drinks are insanely overpriced. $15 for a cocktail? The food was beautifully plated, but meh, I’ve had way better burgers. And what is up with the runny ketchup? I had to ask the server if it was homemade or gone bad, because I couldn’t tell. It tasted like weird spaghetti sauce pretending to be ketchup. Server was meh and uninterested. Wouldn’t go back, overpriced for what it was. And seriously, turn the heaters down on the deck. Definitely need to find a restaurant to have a redo of my Birthday because it really wasn’t a great experience here. $30 wasted on a subpar burger.

Uli’s is by far one of my favourite restaurants along Marine Drive in White Rock. The star of the show - their cheesecake. This is, without a doubt, the best cheesecake you can get in South Surrey/White Rock (and believe me, I’ve tried almost every piece in this area.) they constantly cycle the flavour and I’ve tried three so far - the chocolate being my favourite. Their burgers are also very good. Pictured is their #2 Burger. Go get their cheesecake. Seriously.

This was our first night out since lockdown and the team at Uli’s did a great job to make a great night for us. We started out with mussels in the tomato sauce and calamari and then for dinner I had the beef ragu and my wife had the gnocchi of the day. Everything tasted great and made it to our table quickly. Our server was attentive and quick to get the drinks out to the table. It was good to get out and Uli’s made our first night out a memorable one.

I loved the experience that me and my friends had there yesterday!! Even though they were busy, the staff was very friendly and helpful! The waiter recommended a hamburger (it had goat cheese and crispy onions) with bacon and it was absolutely fantastic! Perfect!! They also have their own ketchup… OMG best ketchup I ever had in my life!! I’ll definitely go back there !

Fabulous menu. Us being Vegan they have a Paella that is just amazing and great portion for 2 at 20 bucks and just right! Sangria was perfect on the deck. Service was awesome. Can't go wrong at this gem. The vegan paella is not on the menu but just ask for it!

Heard great reviews from all my local client's so I thought it'd be a great place for a birthday supper. Well it lived up to all the great reviews and then some. 4 of us had Uli's burgers and salad/shoestring fries. They were all AMAZING! We ended the night with chocolate torte and buttermilk lime cheesecake. The desserts matched the dinner in taste and quality...AMAZING. The service, AMAZING too. The customer service was really good. Our waitress /hostess was charming and attentive. The menu was mediocre although the appetizers were delicious. We had the oysters Rockefeller and the baked brie and they both were really good. I had the beef dip with their clam chowder and that was mediocre. They loaded the sandwich with a lot of beef which was good but I've had better chowder elsewhere. My friend had a the cured smoked salmon benny and her eggs were overcooked and the smoked salmon was too salty for her liking. The prices are reasonable for this place. It wasn't too expensive. I might come back again.

Uli's is a German name but the food is multi country, if that description makes sense. The burger is an award winner and all the food at our table was excellent. The first page of the beer list had 18 beers with a total of 42 beers available. The cranberry sour-ish beer was interestingly good. We had the best table, the best server and the best time. I've been to a couple spots on the strip in white rock. While I cannot complain about the service or the seating I can say with no ill will I found the quality to simply be average. It was quite busy on a Tuesday night in the summer. We ordered the fish and chips, lemonade and the focaccia. All items were just plain Jane in terms of flavour. Perhaps other items on the menu are better but compared to other restaurants like five I can say it was a 3 on all fronts.

My nephew had the grilled cheese with the skinny fries, and he finished the whole plate! He loved it, but sadly I did not get to try! I had the burger 08 from the secret menu which I also loved. The grilled Caesar salad was worth the extra cost to upgrade from the fries. The staff was super friendly and the restaurant was nice inside. Sure it is a little pricey, but you won't be sorry. Recommend skipping the bottled root beer as not worth the cost.

There is no mistaking Uli's for a chain steakhouse. A first time visitor might be forgiven for thinking it was a pub because of the eclectic decor and the unpretentious service. Had my first time to dine in here Burgers were Really good but didn't expect too much of the fries. It could have been good if there is a small portion of beautiful side salad that comes with it for a price of $24. Fish that was serve were lack of seasoned and it was too golden brown and over cooked and a small portion for a price of $19. A beautiful plating could help too. But it was good experience. Hope to come back here next time and will have a lovely plate of this items mentioned.

The food is good if a bit uninspired. Friendly service. It was pouring rain but the restaurant was so busy that one group sat outside ( under cover with a heater). We were seated near the door and everytime the server attend the table outside, they held the door open. Made for a chilly lunch! Maybe stepping outside and letting the door close would have been a better approach.

Last Wednesday (May.12th) was my friend's 34th Birthday. He made a reservation for a wheelchair accessible table for 6pm. Unfortunately there was a situation that caused us to be 15 minutes late to the restaurant. We called to let them know we would be arriving in 5 minutes just to have them say they had given our table away!!!! My friend had already been having a rough birthday as it was and for this to happen was just the icing on the cake...Not impressed at all and couldn't believe they didn't call to ask us if we were still coming and that the table would be given away before hand. Very inconsiderate and just plain rude. We ended up having to wait for 2 hours to get into a neighbouring restaurant. What is the point in taking a reservation just to have your table given away, especially on someone's birthday. Not cool guys.....

Always heard good things about Uli's and finally got a chance to dine there about two weeks ago. Let's just say the burger hype was justified. The food was excellent, and the Caesars were top. Service was excellent too, with the Staff there providing great banter back and forth. And of course the views are unreal. And bonus points for treating my sister so well on her birthday! Celebrated a couple of post secondary grads yesterday with a group of 14 for Brunch. The service and food was outstanding. Our server Bree was always smiling, got all our orders right and despite our guests moving seats to visit all our bills were correct. The food arrived all together, was hot and absolutely delicious. We sat in the soon to disappear streetside patio space. The service was very friendly and efficient and the food was top notch, particularly the Gnocchi of the day which had a delicious wild mushroom and bacon sauce. The kids declared that the Fish & Chips was the best they've had. The cocktails likewise were very good. A little pricey but in line with other places in the area, plus they buy from local sources so it's worth every penny.

Uli's is not only the best restaurant in White Rock, it's one of the best restaurants in all of Greater Vancouver. Throughout the Covid-19 pandemic they have offered an exceptional takeout menu which includes many of their signature dishes and award winning burgers along with beer, wine, jars of their house made salad dressing, and some of the best fried chicken I've ever had. The food photos I've added are takeout photos, Uli's plating skills are MUCH better than mine.

Oh boy where to start. Firstly my partner and I had the pleasure of trying atleast 10 cocktails from their menu! Overdoing it, maybe. Any regrets, heck no! All were so unique, tastefully done and layered! They even did a couple dessert drinks from scratch! The view is spectacular. Also dinner and dessert was great! I have plans to come back here in April and I might just never leave.

Hands down our favourite restaurant. Not only is the food amazing, the cocktails are clever and tasty and served in beautiful vintage glassware. We spend way too much money on cocktails and beer because it’s just so much fun. Clark is an expert on all things beer and we love having him as our server. We always leave ulis with more knowledge on beer than when we went in. Clark has the most amazing stories, and is clearly passionate about his work and sharing his love for food and drink. Ulis is an experience not to be missed!

We ordered the smoked salmon eggs Benedict, chicken and waffles, coffee, and caesars. The waitress was so sweet and kind. We had a great experience and the food was soooo good. my partner and I were both quite disappointed with our meal, although we tried to look on the positive side (there was a beautiful view). 1.) Crab cakes (starter): for twenty five dollars, we were expecting nice sizeable thick crab cakes, fragrant and delicious with chunks of real crab. instead, we got three thin crab patties, with an unsatisfying texture that sort of falls apart too easily, and without much substance. the flavour was not bad and was its redeeming quality. 2.) Paella: the portion was hefty and the flavours were strong, with the seafood cooked well, but it was not traditional by any means. there was also some chicken in there which was confusing / didn't add much to the dish. 3.) Fish of the Day: halibut with mushroom risotto and turnips. the turnips were my favourite part of the dish. the halibut was very dry, although portion-wise it was great. the mushroom risotto was somewhat one-dimensional in flavour, and the texture of the rice grains just didn't seem right for a risotto. 4.) Drinks: the strawberry lemonade was deliciously fizzy and wasn't too sweet. Overall, was pricey for the quality of food, as the meal was disappointing.

Had a blast here for Oktoberfest! Good beer, and great food. I look forward to Oktoberfest every year here. They were also very accommodating to my dates allergies. The place itself is warm and inviting.

Went out for a nice lunch with a friend and in return got below average service. The one star I’m giving is only for the food. Our waitress was rude and never came to even check on us while she came multiple times to the table beside us. It is also worth mentioning we were seated on the patio during a heat wave (which is fine) however, not being offered water after we initially finished our first glass is not. Our waitress had not even come back for water or to check on our first bites, very disappointed. As we waited and waited the waitress refused to even make eye contact with us as if our table was not worth the attention. We eventually gave up and went inside to ask for our bills ourselves. We wanted our remaining food to be packed but with the waiting and the fact that we had to go inside to get the attention of our waitress, we were over it and just wanted to get out of there. It would be nice to be treated well while dining in a restaurant with great views and great food.
