We came here for the first time and the food was absolutely delish and fresh! I had the Tom Yum bowl with fresh halibut & my friend had the Tuna Tataki bowl. The menu was simple – you choose from a list of seafood such as salmon, halibut, sablefish, or prawns. Then select either rice or quinoa as the base. For the bowl itself, there’s a great selection of yummy sauces such as Tuna Tataki Bowl, Taco Bowl, or Glory Bowl. It was sure a difficult choice. They also offer seafood burgers and shrimp croissant. The wait was a bit longer than usual but definitely worth it. Due to Covid, there isn’t dining inside available. Why not enjoy your lunch by the ocean. They’re located right inside the Village Fish & Oyster Market off 15th and Marine Drive in West Vancouver. They’re open only for lunch from 11 am to 3 pm. I will be back to try the other bowls! A hidden gem in the neighbourhood!

I ordered the tom yum bowl with halibut, thanks to another reviewer, and it was absolutely delicious! The flavours and fresh ingredients blended so well together. Highly recommend and will definitely go back on my next trip to Vancouver!

I was in West Van area and decided to check Nell's Kitchen. It was the best bowls I have ever tried. Extremely delicious and healthy. I loved every single bowl and it was the best clam chowder I have ever tried! So bad I live pretty far from this area! Thank you Nell for your delicious bowls.

Nell’s is a great place for a fresh, healthy, and delicious lunch! My partner and I got the ahi poke bowl and the halibut glory grilled bowl. Both were above our expectations, definitely coming back here again!

Highly recommended by all our staff! Do yourself a favor and go to Nell's Kitchen for 'The Ambleside Shrimp Croissant'! The croissants are baked daily :)

I found Nell’s just after she opened as I worked across the street and I think I was in there for lunch two or three times a week. The food is amazing. I can recommend the Miso butter bowl with shrimp or fish, prawn taco bowl and the poke bowl. Honestly anything on the menu is delicious. I cannot wait to make it back and have it again soon!

Having recently moved back to West Vancouver I'm delighted to discover some of the gems that didn't exist when I lived here 12 years ago. Nell's Kitchen is a dream for the fresh vegetable and seafood bowl lunches. Today I had the miso bowl with sablefish and it was the best ever.

The absolute BEST spot for fresh and delicious lunches. Everything was made fresh to order and was so good. This is an all time favourite spot of mine and I will go out of my way to get to West Van and visit Nell's Kitchen. My personal favourite is the halibut burger with coleslaw. YUM!!!

We stop here when ever we can. Fresh, delicious and creative menu. We just love that you can go eat at the beach or take it with you and feel healthy and awesome afterwards. The quality of the fish is outstanding. I buy some frozen crab cakes too when there! Enjoy. Highly highly recommend this place.

Nell's kitchen is a hidden gem. It's as close to a literal analogy as possible as it is tucked by the window of a fresh fish store. It was the first location where fish burgers and sandwiches are not dry. Albeit, 16 dollars for a salmon burger, the price, from my experience as an avid food consumer, is justified. The freshness of the fish as well as how recently the food was prepped is reflected not only in the flavours, but the texture as well. Nell was polite, concise, and quick with her orders. She was manning the kitchen by herself but went through the short line of customers with ease. A must-visit location from anyone living in Greater Vancouver. I stopped by as I was in need of a lunch and was passing by, but it is a trek I am willing to make from Coquitlam.
