AWFUL. After many years of buying fish here, just pulled Black Cod out of the oven to find it was liquified - most likely spoiled from having got wet. Disgusting experience, having to do dinner triage on protein. Thanks Seven Seas for ruining our dinner and our evening. We won't be back.

A small store which has a reasonable selection of the fish. However I was only able to find two types of fresh fish, everything else was previously frozen.

paid an arm and a leg for BC spot prawns here assured enthusiastically by the gentleman behind the counter that they were fresh and amazing. got them home to find half of them mushy and bordering on inedible. not okay and I won't be back. with so many fresh fish shops in Vancouver this kind of inconsistency is not appreciated.

Just bought some fresh cod fillets, and the fish was amazing! Employees were very friendly. The display is looking a lot better, and the fish is excellent. Highly recommend 7Seas and their products, especially the salmon candy dip!

This is an adequate fish market in Kitsilano. It offers fresh and frozen fish. It also offers BBQ salmon chunks, which are delish. You can also purchase seafood related items, such as lemons, bread crumbs, tartar sauce, seafood cocktail sauce, etc.

Really like the shop and the staff friendly. Would like to see them find an alternative to using a plastic bag each time they pick up seafood.....other seafood shops don’t seem to need to do this.

Only ever had great service here. The mussels are amazing. Very fresh. Very cheap. They discard the ones that are no good. They explain to you how they are a living creature..... I would never buy vacuum sealed ones at Costco! Great store, friendly service.

Came here to grab some squid for paella, I am not sure how old it was but it basically disintegrated into mush in the paella. It smelled ok, but who knows. This place is expensive and questionable quality.

I shop at this 7 seas located on 4th regulary for the past 8 months as I am a private chef working closeby this location. 7 seas offer a wide variety of fresh fish and seafood. I usually go there to get shrimps, mussels, and a couple of different fish. The staff are always friendly and helpful. I have worked with James a couple years back when I was working in the restaurant industry, and he is very knowledgable, friendly and always tries his best to meet the customers' requests to make them happy! Last week, he had recommended to me their Arctic Turbot. I had tried it for my client and personally for myself, and we were impressed by how beautiful, succelent and buttery Arctic Turbot fish was. Now I have to say that Arctic Turbot is my top favourite fish. I am looking forward to try upcoming new fish/seafood they will be bringing in the store.

Love this store. I live in Kitts and shop locally and 7seas is my seafood shop. I really enjoy the crab and salmon cakes as well as the wonderful customer service. It's has a wonderful section of fresh seafood and I really like the fact that they are part of the ocean wise program. I've have recommended this store to many of my friends Thanks 7seas

Bought supposedly fresh spring salmon here yesterday. When we got home the fish rather than being firm was mush with an “off” smell. This place should be AVOIDED. There are so many good place for fish in Vancouver. No reason they should be in business.

This year we were late for canning Sockeye salmon. After phoning several places and not having any success we stumbled on to 7 seas. Spoke with Stevie who said yes they had Sockeye. The price was quite reasonable. We got our Salmon. They dressed, cleaned and cut off the fins - ready for canning. The fish was fresh and the service was superb. They have many other varieties of fresh and frozen fish and sea food. And sauces and spices. I also talked with Cato, the store manager and knowledgeable about their products. They are oceanwise. Highly recommend this place.
