Usually very happy with products and services, but today they would not help me at all with paint my husband bought in the wrong colour, plus the saleswoman was condescending and rude. No retint, no exchange, nothing. I will not buy paint there again. Not recommended.

I found the ladies were huddled together laughing and telling jokes, paying no attention to the customers. They were yelling at each other across the store. I just found it very unprofessional and annoying. Love your products, though. You asked; so this is my statement. Please don't take this personal, b/c I don't. Updating my experience as it's just gotten worse and worse. I understand we are in a pandemic but I've never had any issues with curbside until I moved to sturgeon falls and had to call a few times for orders. It often takes 15-20 Calls just to get through to someone and when someone finally does decide to answer the phone they ask for your name and number and don't call you back.. how you place an order with these people I have no clue. But I've chosen to take the drive to north bay as I have never had a bad experience with them. Seriously hire some people or fix your system. Instead of asking for my name Maybe get my order that would take 2 minutes to grab and call me back. Why make me wait a whole day to call just to call again. Absurd.

It's annoying that Home Hardware website is a disconnect with the store. On line orders are delivered from a warehouse in SW Ontario and are not picked out of inventory at the store so timely pickup is unlikely to happen. Also, items listed on the website are not necessarily available in the store. For instance, I ordered 150 feet of clothesline and phoned my order into the store. I gave the order taker the item number listed on the website. When I picked up the order I got 150 feet of clothesline that had been cut from a spool and priced per 50 foot length resulting in a $10 difference. The store clerk said we don't carry that part you ordered

Terrible experiance! I've been calling regularly for 3 weeks to try and place some large scale orders, they have easily lost out on thousands of dollars that I would have spent with them had they just picked up the phone. What a shame, when we were trying to support local.

Have always had good luck in the past , but not the past 2 visits . Not only could the order desk not sell my wife the complete unit ( 2 parts ), when she took the sample in . Then guys in the yard were on the rude side . When she returned the next day to get the second part the order desk gave her the run around . Very disappointed after dealing there for 14 years . Wish Bert was still the owner , he had his staff bend over backwards for the customer
