They have a great menu selection with options for various fish choices and sides of fresh cut potato fries, sweet potato fries or rice! I've been going to Sue's Seafood for about 3 years now. It's usually very good, but the last two times I've ordered from them has been disappointing. On one occasion, two of the items that I had paid for were missing from my order. And the customer service was deplorable on the other. I will not be patronizing them again.

Very busy at 5pm on a Friday but staff is very quick & efficient putting order in, cashing you out. Fish (haddock) was really good! Batter was crispy & generous portions. Price was terrific and they have a great variety of fish available.

Even if you aren't there for fish, their alternative meals are also really tasty. The burgers there taste better than high end restaurant's burgers. All around, really good food, really good portion sizes, and it is worth the money.

Always my fave fish & chips in Welland (and I've tried them all) on my way home from work, and just up the street from my house, so very practical when I'm too tired to cook. Great fish, crispy & tasty, BIG portions, friendly service. Only one error in 2 years (got mushy peas instead of gravy- no big deal).

We always say we are going to try Sues seafood so tonight we did. It was delicious. The portion sizes were huge, I ordered a family pack of fish and chicken strips for my son. We had enough for two meals for a family of four. We will definitely go again.

Amazing quality. Super friendly and everything is homemade - coleslaw, mac salad and even the tatar sauce!! I hate when a fish and chip place gives me packets of garbage mass produced tartar sauce. Sue's was amazing. Fish was cooked perfectly and so was the shrimp! I would recommend this small local restaurant to anyone

I tried Sue's Seafood for the first time today. I was pleasantly surprised with the portions and the quality of the fish. The only reason I didn't score 5 stars is that I found the fries to be slightly overcooked. I would definitely order again, delicious.

We tried Sues for the first time on Good Friday. We had both the halibut and haddock, and both were excellent! Portions were large. We will definitely be eating here again. They also handled ordering and delivery to vehicle well, considering we’re dealing with a pandemic!

After trying a competitor yesterday (and being very disappointed!), I am crawling back to Sues with joy and asking forgiveness (LOL). Best fish hands down. Flaky, light battered, HUGE portions. The wait can be a bit long sometimes, but after the experience I had at the competition yesterday, I'd wait years for my fish at Sue's. Keep up the great work guys!

I am not one for Fish and Chips, but felt like having some today. Quick Google search and Sue's came up. Driven by it many times, so I decided to give it a try. I ordered the Alaskan Halibut, figured I would splurge. So glad I did. Cooked perfectly, Perfectly breaded. Absolutely no oil dripping from it when it arrived. This was the best tasting piece of fish I have ever had. You guys may actually get me back into eating fish again. Great Job !!!!!!!!

Amazing fish and chips, and service. The young man who works there is incredibly nice and helpful, and the haddock was perfectly cooked. Crunchy on the outside, tender on the inside, and not greasy at all. Would recommend trying, and would return. Butterfly shrimp was also great.

I live in New Brunswick and I eat seafood regularly as I am a recreational scuba diver and dive for scallops and have access to fresh seafood. So when I eat seafood anywhere out of the maritimes I don’t expect the same freshness we have here. That being said, what a great quality seafood and the next time I’m in Welland or even within an hour away I would gladly make the drive to get there fish n chips again. The staff were also really friendly and polite.

Recently moved to welland and have been trying some different fish and chip joints. I dont need to look any further. Halibut was excellent. My wife and I ordered the 2 piece and chips and we couldnt finish it because there was so much. Tartar appeared to be homemade and was better than the little packages you normally get. Prices were comparable to other fish and chip places as well. two thumbs up!

The food was overcooked and dried out.The fish was way to crunchy .The fries had many black pieces in them This was Not worth the drive from St. Catharines!!! I was driving by Clare street on a delivery and noticed the seafood sign. Decided to google search the place to see if it was a restaurant or an establishment that sells fresh seafood. Saw the reviews and menu on their site. And had to call to pick up a one piece haddock dinner. I must say I was impressed at the size fish and portion of fries I got. Well worth the price and the taste by far best in town. Service with a smile and the lady at the counter was very pleasant. I’ll be back to try the Alaskan halibut dinner and their many other entrees next time I’m in the area.
