Amazing!!! The vegan options are so delicious. I could eat the pumpkin curry roti every day and never get tired of it. The roti is unbelievable. The portions are so large. The value is excellent. The service is absolutely fantastic. I will visit every single time I go to Welland.

This is hands down some of the best real food in Niagara. I was told to try them out two weeks ago and I think I've eaten from here 5 times since. They do a fantastic job at making just good solid food, something I've been craving in all my years living in Niagara. Hats off to these guys, I couldn't recommend this place enough.

Having recently moved to Welland, it was a thrill to find this place just today! We thought we'd give it a try and see what our taste buds say! Well well well, we just picked up our curried chicken/dhalpurie and jerk chicken/rice dish....and boy we were happy with the first mouthful! As u can see I couldn't wait to dig into that roti! Great job and kudos to the chefs at L'Js roti shop!

First time i order from this place and OMG its fantastic the curry chicken has the perfect blend of spices the rice and beans was delicious and the chicken roti was amazing has amazing flavor and was nice and big . My wife and I love this place. Delicious roti - we always order the same, chickpea with spinach, and it’s probably the best roti we’ve ever had! Juicy, good flavours, good size, reasonable price. The doubles are also great, just grab the 5 pack and save any leftover for the next day. Any time we are in the area we stop here for lunch, or dinner if we can make it in time before they close at 7pm! We usually eat at 7:30 so is a little early for us. LJ’s team, keep up the great work and see you soon!

What a hidden gem! I wish I would have realized LJ's Roti Shop has been here under my nose all this time. The portions are double what I'd normally eat in one sitting but I just can't stop. This curry chicken is exactly what I've been craving. I couldn't even wait after smelling the aromas once I walked in, I'm just scarfing it down in the car! The owners are super nice and walked me through their menu explaining a few unfamiliar items. I highly recommend if you enjoy these flavors. I will definitely be back, frequently.

Chicken curry & rotis are AMAZING. I live in St. Catharines and there is no place as good as this place, I will be driving here at least once every 2 weeks, it is literally the best. Service is amazing, food tastes great and is super fresh. Everyone should eat here!

It's real, healthy food that you'd cook and eat at home. So much better than the fast food that's everywhere in Welland. Tremendous flavours. The jerk chicken plate and lamb roti were excellent. The Cassareep chicken roti took the prize though: perfect blend of savoury and sweet flavours, absolutely delicious. The shop is spartan, and easy to miss from the road, but definitely worth seeking out.

I love Caribbean food and thought I would have to travel for a good plate of food when I moved into the region. I was so happy to find LJs and even more delighted to taste the fine dishes coming from this kitchen. The Dal Purri is fresh and soft, the Curry lamb was cooked so tender and seasoned well. No complaints only praises for LJs Roti Shop. Make sure you ask for Tamarin sauce . so good!!!

Our family has been faithfully coming here, over and over, for the past couple of years this place has been open for business because the food and service is absolutely amazing. Food is mediocre at best, Portions are very small. No veg served with any of the dishes we bought- which included Cassareep Chicken, Jerk Chicken Plate, and Curry Chicken Plate. Would only buy again because there are no other West Indian places around, otherwise...

Just went for the first time and it definitely won't be the last. I dove head first into some doubles that was so flavourful I couldn't bother to mind the pepper sauce I poured on it. This roti is about to get devoured straight. Good work.

Made the trip here for lunch during a recent trip to Niagara Falls. My girlfriend and I were trying to get away from the tourist traps, searching the surrounding areas for something more authentic We chose LJ's based on the strength of Google reviews, and happy that we did so! We like to ask questions when we're making selections, and the manager was happy to walk us through recommended pairings, including combos that weren't on the menu. I had the jerk chicken with a base of rice, and a scoop of "pumpkin". (We learned that this is a nickname for butternut squash). My girlfriend had the chicken curry roti, with a scoop of pumpkin wrapped inside the roti. The manager brought our order right to the car, and we ate it right there. We received HEALTHY portions for the price, and every bite was fantastic! I had to pop back into the shop to give them their props and offer thanks for the recommendations...it was that good. Thanks for a great lunch!

I sure hope this place lasts longer than the last Caribbean place did. I've been here 4 times now, have had 4 different items, and all have been outstandingly delicious. while I am a little sad that I can't try the roti as I no longer can handle the gluten, my coworkers tell me it is one of the best they've ever had. Everything is always delicious, and delivered quickly with a smile. I highly recommend!

I am still stunned there is a roti shop in the Niagara Region in a world saturated with Jamaican spots (not to hate on those...love me some food from yard too). I am a chef with caribbean background and really high standards. Niagara has only a handful of really good restaurants in my opinion. THIS IS ONE OF THEM. This family restaurant did not disappoint. I experimented first with a boneless chicken....a safe bet to test the waters and it wasn't bad at all. In fact being from Scarborough ontario (one of the GTA meccas for west indian cuisine), the roti stood up against all a dem... Rolands, Roti Hut.... Rotilicious in the east end, to be at least at par with those. In fact it was better than my experience with Leelas in Mississauga. It was good enough to bring me back the following day itching for more, going for a riskier order of lamb and all I can say is WOW! So impressed that I would drive out of my way to get here if I had to and that is rare for any restaurant. I THINK THE LAMB ROTI WAS TOP 5 ROTI'S I HAVE EVER GORGED ON IN CANADA. Highly recommend. If you are new to West Indian cuisine this is the right place to try it! Will be back again and again. Trying the shrimp next.....

I am having some trouble finding the words to describe how fing amazing the taste of this food was today.. I delt with a man named Sunny first impression was amazing, polite, genuine and VERY AMAZING customer service. He gave me a double to try as it was my first time eating here... phenomenal, I got the chicken on rice.. because. Well I dont remember the actual name lol. The chicken was the most tender I've had in years, and the rice? It was like every piece was cooked to perfection and packed with flavor. Every bite made me want more, I'm definitely going to go back and tell everyone about how amazing the food and service was

I’m originally from Toronto and moved to Welland in 2020. I have been driving by LJ’s for a while now but wasn’t sure how it would measure against some of my favourite spots from the city. I ordered from them off Skip the Dishes and I cannot believe how amazing the quality and flavour is! LJ’s is absolutely delicious and is hands down the best Roti I have ever had! I also want to touch on their customer service- they are so friendly and light hearted and an absolute pleasure to deal with. I had realized I made an error on my skip the dishes order and when I called to ask to make changes I was greeted with such kindness! Giving this a 5 star review because I really can’t think of one bad thing about my experience!

Stopped in with a large pickup order. The team was super friendly and accommodating. The food was absolutely phenomenal. The cassareep chicken is some the tastiest food I've ever had. Make sure you pick up some cassava balls to mop up any of the tasty sauce that breaks loose from your roti. Highly highly recommended. Will absolutely be back

I’ve ordered twice on doordash and both the times I’ve been made to wait for atleast 20-30 minutes and then got my order cancelled due to technical issues. I don’t get it, if y’all are on doordash then why not send the food and why cancel everytime? I haven’t ordered anything off the menu as well, as it is the doordash menu is so small and if orders don’t get fulfilled even then idk what else to say. If you guys don’t want to deliver for people on doordash then atleast get off doordash so that we don’t hope for food from your restaurant. All these good reviews and when you want to try it, you don’t get to. It’s just sad. I want to give 5 stars but I want to try the food first. And if you guys are gonna cancel the order anyways after 20-30 minutes then please don’t accept the order at all. This place goes above and beyond when it comes to customer service. I went in after hours and I really wanted roti since it’s once of my favourites and they served me up a goat roti which was everything I wanted it to be and some shrimp roti on the side at no cost. Mom and pop shops have the best food and this is a great example.

I drove from Ridgeway to Welland to try LJ's. It did not disappoint!!! The chicken curry in roti was outstanding. Seriously one of the best I have ever had. It is actually the best in the region. THE BEST FOOD IN THE AREA YOU WILL FIND!!!!! Coming from Toronto with endless food options it has been a challenge to find some good cooked food since moving. The jerk chicken is SO juicy and flavourful you need to try it, and the chow mein is not dry like most.. Shoutout to Junior the owner for his amazing and friendly service. YOU NEED TO COME HERE, I will definitely be sending all my friends and family here when they come down to the area. (ate the food so fast I didn’t get a picture oops)

I've been here a couple times and always get the same (Lamb curry and some pepper sauce) and I wanted to get my coworkers to try it. With our mains we ordered Fried Plantains through Skip the Dishes, they called us to tell us they were all out of stock of the Fried Plantains and to compensate they gave us 6 doubles (which isn't even on the menu yet) and 2 drinks. We got above and beyond customer service, the food feels like a fresh, home-cooked meal, and the price is right. How can you beat that?

We went for an afternoon ride through the Niagara region and stopped here for dinner. The food was 10/10 delicious, well worth the hour and a half drive from Mississauga. The customer service was also outstanding, Sunaina and Jr made us feel so welcome. Do yourself a favour and stop by next time you're in the Niagara area.
