Solid food. Not exceptional, but it feels home made in a good and bad way. Service is a bit slow, but not too bad. Atmosphere is pretty drab, though the prices are cheap which makes the cash only a bit more bearable. Overall there's nothing really wrong with it, but nothing that makes it stand out.

A classic Canadian/Chinese Diner. The kind you will find in every great small town across Northern and Western Canada. A go to for me is the all day breakfast with 3 sausages, 2 sunny eggs, toast, hashbrowns, and coffee. My bill is under $10. The prices are seriously insane. For lunch/dinner I love the fried rice, sweet and sour pork, and the halibut burger. It has almost become an addiction how often I want to eat here. The neighborhood gains so much by having Marble Arch be a part of it. It's been around for 30 years and I hope it is around for another 30.

My go to for a quick bite cheap. The only reason I take out cash. Good sized portions, most under a 10 dollar bill. Where do you get a restaurant meal for under 10 bucks anymore? Favorites are the chow mein & egg foo yung. And the clubhouse with fries!

I really wanted to like this place as the owners are such nice people, and I love old school Mom & Pop shops. I ordered a burger with fries and gravy. It was ready in good time and served with a smile. The burger itself was fairly decent, but the fries were undercooked and the gravy tasted like flour. Someone had obviously used way too much to thicken it and it had lost its original flavour. Prices though are very reasonable, but take cash as they don't take any kind of electronic payments.

I went in there today and it was busy and so I sat down and waited patiently however no one even acknowledge me or ask me if i needed a drink or a menu to take my order for some take out instead. She decided to seat customer's and bring them drinks also taking their orders while i was sitting right in front of them for 30 minutes and nothing so i left. They have great chinese however their loyalty to long time customers is definitely not good at all, It made me feel as if they took advantage of a long time customer and thought they could just make me wait 30 minutes for nothing then leave with nothing either, When they should of offer me and drink along with taking my order so i can come back and be on my way, But nothing at all. I dont no if I will ever go back there again after this.

Would definitely not recommend this place, we called them to order fish and chips, no mention of how much it costs or that they only accept cash. I got there and saw they only accepted cash, so had to go to ATM and pay $3 extra. Got my food, and the fish was tiny, looked like shrimp to me, fries didnt look all that appetizing. No ketchup or tartar sauce included. Tasted one piece of Fish, and it tasted bland. Took it back and got my money back. Choose somewhere else if you want a decent experience, this place doesn't care what they serve to their customers.

Great family owned greasy spoon atmosphere if you're into that. If you want corporate denny's/white spot aesthetic you will be disappointed. Simple and filling, no weird classically victoria butter chicken eggs benny or anything odd like that. More like a trip back in time to the 70's, 80's, probably also the last time they renovated the place, which is fine by me

Affordable Western/Chinese diner. Cash-only. Made-to-order chow mein and crisp 'beef' (when is deep-fried beef white?). Noodles were fresh fried but the chicken in the chow mein had a freezer taste to it. I only make the mistake of eating here every 5 years or so. Maybe I'll remember next time.

I was hoping to find a fish a chips place but found a Chinese restaurant that serves breakfast. The 2 piece halibut was $35 for 2 plates. Sadly disappointed. While the fries were decent the fish was not so good. No lemon for the fish and the tartar sauce seemed like mayo. Would not recommend this spot for the price . .

Not as good as some of the reviews suggested. My water had bugs in it, we got fish n' chips and there were some hair in our fries, my cod was soggy and so was the halibu. For being on the island I was expecting more... I've had better fish n' chips in the prairies.

Restaurant old style but not very clean. I asked if the fish was fresh or frozen...if looks could kill!!! Not too fiendly at all. The oil in the fryer was old and black.....eughhhhhh. Place smells greasy..I just felt it was the wrong place for me. So went to Salty's on Craigflower...much cleaner..comparable prices...but salty's fish is frozen which is not as good as fresh.Think i'll go back to my favorite......White Spot

They didn't offer a kids menu but it says it's kid friendly, and then to boot walking in we waited 10 minutes before service. She didn't even offer us a drink, the whole time we sat and ate our meal we weren't offered a drink. Food was average definitely not as good as I though

If I could give them half a star I would way to expensive I spent 132.10 and was expecting to get the same size dishes as a regular Chinese food places but I got the half sized styrofoam container all dripping in oil.thanks marble arch for over pricing and cutting dishes in half .... I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone ever profiting from a pandemic hope this is helpful

Having a meal here is like stepping back in time of the classic rock & roll diner days. t's operated by a Chinese husband wife team. He's the cook & she serves. Decor is old fashioned, basic but clean. Menu displayed openly on the wall & also avaliable on a really old worn out paper menu encased in plastic. You get the feeling of nostalgia as you view it trying to decide what favours you especially if it's your first time here. Anyway there are all day breakfast choices, hamburgers, sandwiches, oysters, fish & chips, soups as well as chinese combination plates. A can't go wrong choice looking from all directions. I picked a combo that had chow mein accompanied with deep fried prawns. I was astonished that it looked plain with bits of chicken however the chow mein was a little too salty. Ordered coffee given 1 extra refill. You can't beat the old fashion prices though food portions are mediocre but enough to depart satisfied that I gurantee you. While sitting down you can observe the cook preparing your order since the kitchen is open concept. Don't expect high standards just plain inexpensive simple down to earth decent food. I have been in a few times and noticed place is popular with seniors probably price being a leading factor. Mornings seems to attract the construction crowd from nearby job sites for a quick coffee break. Wednesday special is 6 pcs of fish & chips for $7.49. In god we trust, they only accept cash payments.
