When I can avoid supporting chain stores, I do but I had a good visit the other day. Everything was easy and simple to find, staff was not overly friendly but were still kind and smiled. Overall, it was a good visit. Nothing outstanding to set it apart from others though, at least in my eyes.

Best Safeway Sub Sandwiches around. They actually take their time unlike the downtown Safeway when making your sub and they always do a great job of making it. Always fresh ingredients and great sub buns too. A quick go to for lunch that isn't bad for you like most other quick options in town.

I like their ready-made salads for my lunch time. This is the fastest way to eat healthy...if you're into that. They have a great BULK food section. And they have the best prices in town for healthy Mitchell's Soup and Chili soups. A great assortment of those easy to make meals. They are only $6.99 each.

HOWEVER, at my local Safeway - Vernon, BC, Canada - the check out I clerks did not have masks, disposable gloves, were not disinfecting the surfaces after every customer, no plexiglass nor other shielding between customer and clerk. The restocking crews were not wearing masks despite the fact that there was no way to stay 6 ft away from them while traversing the isles. ALL of these safeguards are being used at Save-On Foods where I recently picked up a couple of items after visiting the Liquor Store next door. So despite your CEO’s efforts at reassuring your customer base, you are letting your team down at this store! Respectfully, Aly Clifton 30 year customer of Safeway!!

Safeway has updated and facilities and amenities which is nice, but it is seemingly reflected in the price as it's a bit more expensive than other retailers. I would still reccomend going here though as they have an awesome deli that makes alot of different interesting foods, and I think the extra price is worth paying. The selection is also wuite good, but not quite that as some of the bigger stores such as Walmarts and superstore.

Love this Safeway! It’s not HuGe like other grocery stores that take forever to shop inside, but it’s still big enough to have everything you need. Management and staff truly care about customer experience. The Deli has tons of healthy new options, even trendy things like turkey meatballs and turkey meatloaf. Meat department has fresh chicken and meat dinners, all seasoned with veggies, just pop in the oven. Great healthy alternative to gross microwave dinners. Bakery has high end, made in store delectable treats, like premium cupcakes. The Airmiles program is hands down the best consumer loyalty program. Many days you can get 100 airmiles for just spending $100. Over the last few years we’ve taken multiple flights just because of the amazing offers. Safeway customer for LIFE!!!

Safeway is always surprising because it’s never been my go-to grocery store, but every time I pop in looking for something I couldn’t find elsewhere, the shelves are fully stocked and more often than not they’ve got the very thing I’m after. They’ve been there for me in a pinch ???? Different vibe than the places I usually go but definitely a major player in the grocery chain game.

Great strip mall. You can get all your groceries at Safeway or find all your cheap trinket needs at Dollarama. There is also a White Spot and a liquor store. The only problem is trying to get out of the lot once you are done shopping. The highway side is often backed up.

This Safeway is pretty good. It feels a bit dark and dank when you immediately walk in but then it brightens up. They have a fairly good selection of produce and generally a good selection of dry goods too. Most of the registers are open during the day which makes it a convenient place to shop.

My favorite place to shop, the staff are helpful and efficient. Lots of parking with other services and merchants within walking distance It doesn't hurt that I collect Airmiles and and get coupons sent to me online that reward me with miles on favorite, regular purchases. Yayy Safeway!!

Great produce and cooked meals. Organic produce is fresh. They also make sandwiches on-site. Service was friendly and attentive. Shelves were well stocked with a good variety of products. There is even a Starbucks inside if you want a coffee!

The place is fine.....i bought however Safeway lemon meringue pie that was awful.......I have no idea what the bakery did to it but the flavoring is very bad.......like something had turned. Even the pastry was pale and lacked flavour of any kind.

This review is based on the one experience at the sandwich counter tonight with one certain employee and not the store in general. I have had great experiences and great food normally. I'm sure its the training for staff on food handling but, the employee who made my sandwich tonight was cleaning the meat slicer and came over to make my sandwhich. They didn't change their gloves for starters and while the sandwhich was in the toaster picked up a garbage bag in the can. Grabbed my sandwich with the same gloves. When I mentioned that they oppologized and changed their gloves and continued on. Didnt offer to make a new sandwich. I didn't cause a scene but needless to say I didn't eat it. Safeway needs to train their staff on safe food handling procedures!!

Fantastic grocery store, but the homeless in the area are robbing it blind. Watched it with mine own eyes. No security at all for the young people working, it’s an accident waiting to happen if they don’t change their evening routine of staffing and a proper security person

I always have great experiences but wth is up with the sad pathetic boxes of chicken???? They are more like paper chicken livers. 1 manager will exchange and the next seems to think it's acceptable. Super frustrating when you use them all the time in your bistro and half the boxes have been a pathetic joke

Just ordered a floral arrangement for a friend and was so disappointed... the clashing carnations and mums and 3 gerberas definitely was not worth the $50 I spent (and that was not including delivery cost). I won't be ordering flowers from Safeway again.

This is in a mall so there's lots of traffic and getting out of the parking lot is a hazard to say the least. Like all Safeways, the prices are high but they do have a good variety of goods. They still have Black Frisday which is definitely a plus. They always seem to never run out of stock which is very good as well.

Numerous homeless constantly panhandling directly outside the store doors. Management allows these people to loiter for hours, day in, day out without any action. This does not occur at any other city stores, since management moves them along. I will shop elsewhere until management realizes that customers don't enjoy being accosted by these people and takes some action to clean up their store.

5 Stars for the floral department! I have used this location a few times to order flowers for friends and family. Recently, I ordered a arrangement for Mothers Day and it turned out amazing. Service was great when ordering and it was delivered by a friendly driver. I would recommend and use this location again.
