Love, love, love this place! Have gone to the Kelowna one since I was a kid and frequent the Vernon location now! Always great service, great selection and great prices (cheaper than the grocery stores and SOOO much better quality!)

I go to the Med Market for pastas, tomatoes, concentrated tomato paste (for great pizza making), cheeses and meats from Canada and Europe, taramasalata (Greek fish roe), exotic spices and flavouring like smoked salts, zaatar, sumac, and many great spice blends as well. Head to The Mediterranean Market for the best prices in town.

This place is known for having European products. I was excited to try it out since I lived in and travelled the Mediterranean for years. Unfortunately I don't find any European products at the Mediterranean Market, other than the ones that are already in all the supermarkets.

This store is amazing.... i live in kelowna and drove down there to get the product i needed, .. i called they were friendly and kind, looked to see if they had the product for me, i would reccomend going to this store.. there staff is always friendly, and extremely helpful.. if one doesnt know the answer they are prompt to ask someone else to get the answer to u... they will call as ask if they dont have the item .... amazing service and amzing staff

They introduced me, totally against my will to St.Agur blue cheese...and that makes them #1 in my tastebuds! I was soo disappointed they didn't have my favourite Gorgonzola and offered me St.Agur of whch I had never heard before. I had travelled 1100 km from Dawson Creek and was soo looking forward to a 1/2 wheel of Gorgonzola. More out of politeness I did buy a chunk of this jewel of Blue Cheeses and now I regret that it was only a small chunk. Ah well, may as well travel to the sunny Okanagan again and buy a 1/2 wheel of this delicassy which incidentally goes really well with dulce de membrillo or Quince and a glass of Malbec.

Love it here! Great selection of imported foods including specialty olives, olive oil, flours, rice, tomatoes and sauces, mustards, sardines, duck eggs etc etc. Also a great selection of cheese and deli meat. Oh and did I mention the bulk selection of licorice? Double Zout - mmm. They also make a mean spicy sub - delicious! Friendly service and great prices too. Just make sure you have either cash or debit as they don't take credit cards.

This establishment is truly awesome! It offers a superb selection of quality international food products, a staff who is ALWAYS friendly and helpful , and very competitive pricing. I have happily shopped here since they first opened and would be lost without them!! They've even shared delicious recipes with me and have taken the time to explain how best to use/cook many of the delicious products they offer! Thank you Mediterranean Market!

This is the best place that I've found in Vernon to buy foods from Europe. Very good prices and good knowledge of products. Good choices in olive oils with an interesting selection of other oils and vinegars. For organic choices, they have the very best prices in oils, sauces, and canned goods.

I stopped at the Market at 1045am on Feb 10 to grab a couple of things. My hands we a little full and as I left the deli counter to head to cashier (who was standing there watching me as she had no customers) I dropped one of the olives. My bad. I should have got a basket but I thought I could make the 10 steps to the cashier. She loudly pointed out that is why they have baskets at the front door. I agreed and said my bad, you could also have offered assistance when you saw me struggle. I proceeded to the cashier to pay while the other worker got me some olives. I WOULD HAVE GLADLY PAID FOR THE PRODUCT I DROPPED had the cashier not proceeded to tell me why baskets are at the front entrance. I again reminded her she also could have offered to help as that would be good customer service. I paid for my order and as I was leaving she said remember next time there are baskets at the front. I replied don’t worry I won’t be back.

The place should be called European market, not a Mediterranean market. I have lived in Greece for 17 years before moving to Canada. I have not seen a wide selection of Mediterranean region products there. They don't accept credit cards. I spent about 15 mins there, nobody has asked me if I needed any help. In the end cashier was not friendly.

Very unfriendly and rude polish woman...went there to prove my friends wrong but was greeted rudely like my friends who said that they dont go there because of that woman. If i would be the store owner i would fire her because you are loosing lots of customers! Good variety of food selection though!

This is the worst place in the Okanagan to buy stuff from there variety is very poor. And the staff are the rudest people you will come across stay far far away if you want to be treated like a second class citizen then it's all yours. The owner is especially very rude I would not recommend going here at all.

The Mediterranean Market is such a wonderful local business to have in the Okanagan! I have been going to the Vernon location for over the past 11 years, and I am so happy I stumbled across this place one day. They have a great selection of cheeses and oils. I personally love their custom cheese platters, they are perfect for dinner parties and special occasions. Not to mention, all the employees are so gracious and helpful. Furthermore, if the Vernon location does not have a particular item that I want, they will not hesitate to pick up the phone and call the Kelowna store to order it for me. This store truly treats you like a valued customer, and I will continue to go there because this is the best place in Vernon to buy European goods!

Deli meats minimum 100 gr. No signs. It's just what they are told. Another Lady explained the machine doesn't pick up on anything under 100 grams. Would not produce a ticket.What is going on at this store?
