My wife and I were dying from traveling in a land ripe with cheeseburgers and pizza shops and stumbled across this little gem. Just when we thought we weren't going to make it due to a lack of flavor, we were saved. The menu is rock solid, take out only which is perfect because i like eating alone. Much appreciated! Thanks for that amazing meal! To anyone reading this, if you pass through vernon and don't stop here...your loss!

Incredible place! Small menu done right! When you do each item on your menu as well as they do, you don't need a bigger menu! Try the fish pakora; it does NOT disappoint! From the frosted glasses to the thoughtful presentation, this little gem makes your experience a truly enjoyable one!

I would leave zero stars if I could. The food is mediocre for the price and to make it even worse it is not even close to authentic. You should not call yourself Naan because you are using frozen bread from the stores. The Samosas was probably cooked weeks ago (not even heated up to look fresh). The staff was arrogant and not close to hospitality.???? I would not recommend to every person to not even try any of the food from Kal's Naan stop!!!! The staff doesn't accept their mistakes rather they make up stories and try to cut you out if you correct them. ????

My 79 yr old Mom and I went for the first time... We both LOVED the food. We had the Fish Curry and Butter Chicken Samosas ..ummm ummmm! We had a great chat the the owners and shared our love of the book "Eat right for your Type"... would recommend this authentic Indian Food Restaurant to anyone.... Can't wait to try the Butter Chicken Pizza :)

Tried this place for the first time the other week, and I can't get enough of their veggie samoa's now! Friendly and prompt service, and fantastic food! Prices are also very reasonable. Atmosphere is a bit more cafe like, as in, not somewhere I would go for a fancy/romantic outing, but I will be getting take out here ALL the time for sure!

DO NOT EAT HERE!! Worst restaurant experience I've ever had. Don't be fooled by Google's positive star ratings like we were. Not only did they completely screw up the order, but chicken was ice cold, samosas were ice cold, we only got 1 bhatura when we paid for 2. Anyways I called back to complain, and drove right back to receive a "partial refund"... I literally handed them back their cold samosas and cold chicken... only for them to throw me $10 cash out of the til for my refund. ???????? I said I wanted a refund for my tip as well. She says here is $5 for your chicken and $5 for your tip. (my tip was actually around $8, and I never got my missing Bhatura nor did we eat the cold samosas). The main food was also awful (my first time ever eating bad Indian food), not to mention the worst customer service. I felt totally robbed, and we were all still hungry. ???? This is my first negative Google review.. and it was well deserved. Order your food elsewhere!

This small, cozy restaurant offers insanely good Indian food. We had the tasting vegetarian menu which was superb. You could taste such a variety of flavors, test like Amritsar Punjab, so delicious. What a find!

A friend visiting had a craving for their delicious Pakoras, she called a head for a pick up order. I added their Saag paneer to the order to try it out. Very tasty!. Their Pakoras were nice and crisp and the saag paneer came with rice and naan so I had enough for 2 meals. Spicyness was just perfect. This authentic Indian delight was worth every penny. Pick up order was ready when they said it was going to be and staff are super friendly and helpful!! Love this place.

We order from Kal's usually once a week. Usually the butter chicken however we've gotten the pizza twice too. Such a great hidden gem, their food is So good! Sometimes pickup time is a wee bit, but that's just because they're busy cuz they're so awesome & delicious! ???? The staff are always super nice too!

Looked promising at the outset. High reviews. House converted to commercial space. Native chefs in the kitchen. Limited menu items. But there was nothing memorable about the food, which was one dimensional in flavor. Left me bloated. Decent Indian food but not deserving of the ratings it's getting.

I have to rate this as the best Butter Chicken and rice I have ever had. Amazing Food, Amazing Portions, and incredibly Authentic taste, Great People. Wow!!

This place is amazing!!! We do take out! We call in and it's almost ready in less time than it takes to drive to pick it up!!! Huge portions, great prices and ready so quickly!! The butter chicken is just how we like it- and it actually contains chicken . Some places cheap out on the meat but not kals. They give you a Naan and rice with every dish ordered !!! We always get 3 extra Naan because it's so delicious. We almost went crazy when they were shut from the kitchen malfunction. We are so glad you are back up and running

I highly recommend Kal's Naan Stop. I saw the reviews and decided to stop in before my long drive home. Am I ever glad I did. The vegetable samosas and butter chicken were outstanding, and I really enjoyed the flavor of the seek kebab as well. I had enough food for one person to have dinner, two lunches, and a snack. Thank you for sharing your talents for such delicious cooking with those of us blessed enough to find Kal's Naan Stop!

We have had takeout from Kal's a few times and it was excellent, but today was anything but. I just got home from a 12 hour shift and my wife had purchased a Chicken Curry takeaway with Naan bread but what we got was Spicy Chicken Soup with Roti that was mostly broth. In the container were about five pieces of chicken in a thin but spicy broth with a few pieces of Roti that were supposed to be Naan bread. This was very disappointing tonight.

Great service, Amazing Food! I am in town for business and was recommended to check out authentic Indian food here at Kal's Naan Stop. They were friendly, food was amazing and priced reasonably. Love their spicy scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the spiciest). If you love authentic Indian food, you have to try it. I had dinner there last night, had lunch delivered from them today and going back tonight to try more items on their menu.

One of our co-workers, Kam, bought Pakoras and Samosas for everyone at the Fun Store. Everyone loved it and kept coming back for more, there were no leftovers! I personally think their Samosa is the best one I've ever had. Now I can't wait to try more of their food! I am not a huge Indian food fan, but this food was fantastic. Placed a take out order. Had the samosas, best I have ever tasted. Most have too many potatoes in them for my liking, but these had some but mostly tasty filling. The sauce served with them just added that extra touch of spicy sweetness. Also had Lentil Yellow Curry, Chicken Masala and Butter Chicken. Enjoyed all the dishes but the Butter Chicken was definitely our favorite. Meal came with lots of rice and warmed nann bread. Fed three of us amply. Will return to try more items on their menu.

The food is fantastic, the customer service is phenomenal!! We called an order in to pick up at a specific time as we were heading to a party in town (we were coming from out of town and wanted to bring some delicious appies). We had to call and say the roads had delayed our arrival time by about 15mins and they were really accommodating to prepare our food a bit later so it was hot and fresh. They were very busy that night and we had to wait for our pick up order when we arrived to the restaurant. She went above and beyond and gave me a generous gift card to spend on our next meal there!! Even offered us lodging for the snowy night if needed, what a sweetie;).

Don't let the positive reviews fool you because they seem tailored & they're deceiving. Their take on Indian food is awful & not even up to par with restaurant quality - amateur, if even that. Then they have the confidence to infuse Chinese as well? At least be good at one cuisine before including another. The food wasn't seasoned right & some items were still stone cold. Go somewhere else.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant through an app. Bad news: The naan bread was the driest naan bread I have ever eaten from a restaurant. It was identical to the naan bread packs I buy from a grocery store. Good news: It is the only Indian restaurant I know in town which serves pizza. I took a chance and ordered their 10 inch vegetarian pizza for 16 bucks. It actually tasted pretty good! In contrast to The Curry Pot, Saffron Touch, Haveli, and Namaste, I would probably have to rank it at the bottom based on taste but third place based on price. If I ordered from here again, I would stick to the pizza. Because of the 5 star pizza and the 1 star naan, everything cancels out to a solid 3 stars!

Excellent butter chicken. Wasn’t overly impressed with the somosas the ones at Safeway in the deli are better these are small frozen chewy type of things with indistinguishable meat inside. And it would be nice to get more than just 1 piece of naan bread with the butter chicken meal. 1 piece doesn’t go very far.

In from out of town and this little gem was recommended by a local. My friend and I had the vegetable and fish pakhoras to start and then butter chicken and lamb curry. Everything was excellent. Clearly authentic flavours, and friendly staff. Will definitely eat here again the next time I'm in town.
