Usually it's ok. But this last time the shrimp were totally flavorless. Tasted like water. Told the manager. All he suggested was to get something else next time. Didnt take anything off the bill either. (When I talked to the server and manager, I was polite and spoke quietly as to not make anything obvious to other diners.)

My husband loves there all you can eat fish and chips. Fresh and flavourful you can't go wrong. I tried the pan fired Cajun version...wouldn't recommend it.

They have great fish & chips here! Good price, fresh and delicious. Harry’s down town is a good runner up but Joey’s has better fries and their coleslaw id good and I prefer their batter too.

I usually don’t write reviews but I could not stop myself to write about my recent experience with this restaurant in Vernon. Extremely bad customer service. Since the time we were there till the end, waitress and the owner did not even smile once and they came twice and told us to hold on to your kids who were playing in the restaurant. We felt like we were in prison with all the attitudes we got. Never visit there. Food was okay, nothing extra ordinary. At the end, when we pay the bill, the lady walked away! It was a horrible experience we had first time in Canada.

Good food and really quick service even tho it was really busy. We had the all you can eat fish-n-chips. Pretty good. The tartar wasn't great to us tho. If that doesn't matter to you, then we highly recommend it!

I don't normally place a review on here but I just can' not this time. I have went to joeys a few times now and had very good service and food. Today was my first bad experience. I had half my lunch ate when I see a hair on the plate. Not mine di finish. Let server know she said sorry. So u would think comp my lunch. Nope charge me for half my lunch???? I'm shocked but payed. Will not go back tho just don't feel good about that way of handling it.

Poor description of daily specials and refusal to honour coupons issued at a prior visit. Very poor customer service and the way they dismissed their own promo coupons. I shall never darken their door again. There are many other more friendly and open dining establishments.

$14 for 2 finger size fish sticks, $7 for 4 tiny shrimps. What a rip off!!! Don’t waste your money eating there ????????????

Fantastic restaurant! Fish taco Thursdays are a MUST! We had a party of 9 and the tacos just kept coming! Staff is friendly and efficient. We always visit when we are in Vernon. Highly recommend!

The food is really good, and from what I've heard better since the new owners took over, but I can't really speak to that as I heard it from a friend that it has improved. What I can say though is that the food now is very tasty. Service is good, and we've been a few times for the all you can eat and have not been dissapointed. I definitely recommend checking Joey's out.

Went here on a Monday night, and it seemed busy- maybe due to the great special they were having. But you would not have noticed, because the staff were so fast and wonderful. The food was perfect. The place smelled and looked very clean, and the restrooms were very tidy. Even though our waitress (possibly the manager?) was training a new server, they had that place running like a well oiled machine, obviously. Would definetly bring my fussy mom or my grandma there next time, as I know they would love it!

Saw a coupon in the paper for their Double Catch meal for $17. Decided to use it only to find out it was just a savings of $1.00. The fish was good but nothing to rave about. I’ve had better fish and chips in town for around the same price or cheaper. The fry’s were On the skimpy side and just ordinary. The coleslaw was tasty but again a very meager portion. My friend had the “All you can Eat” Fish Tacos. They were good but had to wait a long time for refills to come even though the place wasn’t that busy.

We ordered take out. Lady on phone was friendly and also lady was friendly when we picked up food (not sure if it was same lady as on phone) this is why the 2 stars. When I got my food in the car and closed door I got a really bad odor of fish, should of just went back in store. Anyways we were hungry so drove back to our hotel. As soon as I walked in the door my wife went what the hell is that really bad smell... It was our fish. We managed one or two bites and$40 of food went in the garbage. Try any where else is my suggestion.
