Here you will see all the feddbacks of people who are using the services and products of Sobeys Prince Street Sydney (Fish Shop) near to the territory of Sydney (Canada).
Now this firm receives a rating of 4.1 stars over 5 and this score is based on 127 reviews.
You must have seen that its rating is really positive, and it's based on a high number of feddbacks, so we can think that the assessment is very reliable. If many people have bothered to rate when they've done well with the service, it works.
As you know, we don't usually stop to place reviews when they are good and we usually do it only if we've had a problem or incidence...
This Fish Shop is classified in the category of Grocery store.
Over priced and alot of the produce must come in frozen and ribs quick I throw out a lot of produce from here
I shop here for the Sobey's Our Compliments brand. Especially their bathroom tissue and paper towels. Excellent quality for at an excellent price.
Worst sobeys ever, cashier was rude, Threw my stuff on top of the carousel, then when I asked for a bag she was rude and didnt even wait until I packed my groceries before she started ringing someone else through. I know we are in the middle of a pandemic but a smile and some decency go along way.
Great service and wide range of products.
I like this store,I find the meat section good and when I luck out on a sale it's great.Staff are nice and the store is s clean.
Has everything I go looking for and is conveniently located right next to the tequila store.
Good for fish an meat. Expensive for other products
Good selection but always the most expensive option
My favourite deli counter when I can't figure out what to eat for lunch. Plus, those gorgeously huge parking spaces are always a delight! I find there aren't always enough cash registers open but it's one of my favorite supermarkets.
What an absolutely gorgeous store..fully stocked...friendly atmosphere
Awesome selection! Especially for vegetarians, vegans, people who choose to eat healthy or organic! Even a really good selection of non GMO products! Their greens selection is the beat I've seen anywhere! Produce is always so nice and …
Great selection of all the amazing foods you love, and then some! Fresh daily baked breads(as all Sobeys), a great deli section with fast and friendly service all around. I used to go to the cheaper places, or what "I thought" were cheaper, and suffered the price(no pun intended) with having no real variety of foods ..but Sobeys has many great deals to take advantage of as well as good competitive pricing on all of their products. I shop Sobeys weekly now, ..and I don't plan to stop anytime soon :)
If it wasn't for the fact that I have to pass several other grocery stores to get to this one, I'd shop here all the time. Hands down the best selection in Sydney - especially if you're looking for something that's a bit uncommon or specialty. Also find they keep a reasonable amount of checkout lanes open, unlike some of the other stores...
Overpriced grocery store, deli toss salads have to much rotten lettuce and fruit put in them. Sometimes the employees cross contaminate the seafood and eggs sandwiches. Wouldn't …
Amazing customer service! ;) The store is inviting, bright, easy to navigate and find exactly what you need. They always have things going on in the summer months. I love how community friendly they are, too! Sports teams can have barbecues to raise money, there are weekly cooking classes, and let's not forget about how they don't charge for plastic bags. :) Great place to shop. They certainly do go above and beyond just being a grocery store.
Always a lovely atmosphere , the subs that you can get are goated and not bad on price and so are the other made in store items
Clean and well stacked supermarket Easy to navigate with well illustrated direction marks Friendly staff who follows and maintains all Covid Protocols in and out Store
I love shopping there but the only thing I don't appreciate is when the floor walkers watch you assuming I'm going to Steele something that it makes it very in uncomfortable really really bothers me n I have no PB telling them to stop following me. Other then that I love Sobeys I will continue to shop there
The selection is generally smaller than other grocery stores and it is incredibly common to find products that are expired/past the best before date by several days and still on the shelves; this includes produce that is beyond over ripe or rotting in its packaging. Couple this with inflated prices when compared to other Sobeys locations, even those within a 5-10 minute drive, and horribly under-staffed checkout lines and you're left with a store that absolutely can not be recommended.
I purchase my groceries from here. Little over priced comparatively walmart and nofrills but still we get more better and fresh items, especially froots and vegetables.
I find this Sobeys crowded it's much smaller than the Glace Bay Sobeys. It just seems cluttered with large displays blocking the milk and cheese section. ~ A tower wall of crackers that everyone is trying to safely navigate around, not good if you are trying to stay a Covid distance away from people. A word of advice for this store I have found bread I bought and while putting it away discovered it had previously been enjoyed by a mouse, tunneled half way through, my mistake for not inspecting. Also a lot of items on the shelves here are expired, or missing the expiration sticker Sobeys are supposed to put on when it arrives at the store. I Do not trust freshness in this store at all. ~That being said, the redemption factor for this place is the fact they have a half decent Sushi station here. The man who makes the Sushi is very nice. It's usually my craving for Sushi that gets me to go in.
Not only did we have to go back because we were overcharged for the products we bought but, we were treated very rudely by the staff.
Store is tidy, well labeled but the biggest downfall is all of the cars idling by the doors and parked in the fire lane. Security doesn't really seem to bother with this. It bottlenecks the parking lot and makes it difficult to use the crosswalk
What you expect from Sobeys. There's a few cashiers here who will recognize you and ask about your day, which is really nice. The in-store food that's prepared always seems to be fresh and consistent. And the sushi stand is like watching DaVinci paint a masterpiece. They are non stop and work with precision. There's always stock on hand, the store is clean and well lit, parking is fantastic because of the way it's painted, and the workers are generally really nice.
Your go to shop for almost anything you can think of ,great spot for international snacks/spices seasonings/foods as well . If you're there try the Jarritos soda or Irn Bru soda!
My only issue was the cashier when she broke the seal on the mushrooms, dropped a couple on the floor and placed them back in the container with no gloves on. I wanted a different pack and she refused to get one. Food safe does not exist in her books.
Sobeys staff is really friendly but its not my favorite grocery store in Sydney. Some things are over priced compared to the other grocery stores in town. They do offer air miles and they do make birthday cakes in their bakery. They have staff in the deli to weigh meat for you and a lobster tank and people available to cook them for a higher price.
Giid quality products bit has some untypical odor inside store
Great selection of meats although sometimes can be pricey. Sales days the best time to go. Long wait lines at checkouts at noon and supper time.
Love shopping here good fresh food
Stopped in at the Sobeys and got a chicken meal in every other Sobeys a number 4 is a 10-piece crispy chicken meal and they never have a problem substituting gravy for coleslaw however this particular Store has the number of pieces blocked out on their sign and the young guy said it was 9:00 now not 10 and they were almost rude about it and the kid getting my chicken was picking the pieces up in analyzing them before they put them in a package like he didn't even know what to put in the box worst Sobeys in Cape Breton
Nice clean store, reasonably well stocked with a few exceptions (very little choice of decaf ground coffee, not much in the way of frozen meat-free foods), checkout queues (lines) can be very long and very slow moving which is very painful for those of us with walking disabilities! Not enough disabled persons' parking spaces either.
Hot food section needs more then just chicken and fries. Cross contamination needs more control. Mac and cheese got them the 1 star its good. Unfortunately all other stars are taken away for lack of real groceries, to many boxes
The most racist grocery store in Atlantic Canada
THIS PLACE IS GREAT! Fair prices and large selection of products. If you ask the right staff member, they'll give you a bit of cocaine in the bathroom. The staff will let you steal whatever you want. Its great!
Went on looking for a specific cake that only Sobeys carry. It was 1:45 I was told that they have it but would not be available until lunch was over???!
Not a shopping cart to be found and no sanitized carts being cleaned in the front and not to mention the over priced food. Sobeys is like a last stop out of desperation
great staff friendly and helpful but every time I'm there I see a mouse or two running around the bread isle and cereal isle scares me. and a bit exspensive
Employee in produce was cutting rot off cabbage. I asked for a fresh one out of one of the three bags beside him. He said the rotten one had to be prepared before he would give me the one I wanted! I was in shock! He had a lot more words before he was finished, even told me I thought I was entitled! The very first time I was ever treated so poorly at Sobeys! Will never set foot In that store again. However I did eventually get a fresh cabbage. Just dont understand why this man felt he had the right to speak with a customer in that tone.
The staff was helpful HOWEVER the shelves were partially stocked. For example, there has been no vermicelli for a long while and the butter sticks were sold individually. I felt ill served and being a professional talented government employee, i feel like taking my money and business somewhere else. O have choice....
Clean, bright store. Friendly staff.
I bought a "REDUCED BY $1.00" deli chicken dinner. Never again … the chicken was as hard as a brick … the coleslaw was runny !!! Why not throw this trash out, or make sure it's edible before pawning it off on the customers ?
Tamra goes above and beyond.
Wife just waited 45 minutes at the checkout to pick up 5 things on a Thursday morning at 11am. Management might want to actually pay attention to the line ups and do their jobs. What a joke. Would give 0 stars if I could
The pharmacists are a joke. Constantly losing prescriptions and saying the assistant misplaced them. Yeah, that doesn't fly with me.
Ensure you bring your own bags. Their cloth bags are the same as dollarama (too thin) and they want 25 cents each.
Really like the store but at certain times of day the side windows get the sun and it's blinding on that side so automatic shades would solve this and I would give it 5 stars.
Love the great sales they constantly have.
Generally sobeys is more over priced and have a bit more close to expiry products, compared with other major grocery store. But personally I think a deli with large varieties of cooked goods has always been a great advantage for sobeys ,thats the only reason why I keep going back. but in the past weeks I have had moldy sandwich and yesterday bought a warm and 'fresh' cooked ham that have a strong smell of old meat. I hope you keep up with the qualities. I understand you need to maintain a healthy looking accounting book but not at the cost of the customers. Thanks .
Always clean, always well stocked..but this grocery store is expensive..I go there for ad items. Most of the staff are not nice. New Waterford Sobeys has nicer staff. Wish it was closer to me.
