I love this place. I wish I knew about it sooner. The staff is always very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. They're fare in their dealings with me, and offer an amazing variety of beautiful and healthy fish. Best place in Sudbury to get fish, hands down!!

High quality products, advice and fish. There are both fresh and salt water available as well as frags and plants. They sell tanks, saltwater systems, biopods, fresh water equipment, food of all kinds, natural decorations, accessories and of course fish. The knowledgeable staff are friendly and helpful. If you're into the hobby this is the best place to go for all your needs. Pricing is reasonable. Very fair. I highly recommend this store.

Not a newbie-friendly store. I'm considering a first aquarium, so I stopped in hoping for some starter suggestions -- but the salesperson (or owner?) seemed annoyed that I was asking him questions. If I get an aquarium, it'll be from somewhere friendlier.

Nice small store with friendly and knowledgeable staff. They have salt and freshwater aquatic life as well as some low light tropical plants (potted). I've been happy with this store, but it can be a bit of a challenge to order items in.

Great shop, especially given the location. There is not a better store further north but you will also find uncommon things that are not necessarily readily available in southern Ontario. Both times I've visited found uncommon angels. Nice selection of other fish and even sea horses. Decent coral selection with good selection of dry goods too.

Decent place, but all the harlequin rasboras I got from here died. Might have been an issue with my tank, however. I also got a driftwood piece, as well as a java fern, and the fern is still alive and doing quite well. This store mostly seems to focus on saltwater fish though. I enjoy visiting to look at everything they have to offer!

I was in the store last Thursday to buy three koi fish. I told the staff that it was my first time having fish. I brought them home and put them into the pond and found one dead today( it's been four days) I proceeded to call them to find out why and he said that I needed to acclimate them and that he wouldn't have fed them. I had no clue! I wasn't told anything about it at the time I purchased them. I asked him to replace the fish considering the issue and because I should have been given care instructions. He agreed that I should have been told but that he wasn't going to replace the dead fish. I have to say that I am very upset about there poor business. I won't be going back.

have been dealing with jordon at peters reef pond for 4-5 yrs. always a pleasant experience. i have a large reef tank so i have only dealt with the marine end. i live up north so shopping for my tank is something i dont get to do very often. jordon has always been very good to me, even going so far as to open after hrs or when the store is closed so i can pick up orders or shop. i have called him more than once and he has helped me troubleshoot when i have had problems. i have found his prices reasonable considering the mileage the stock gets before you see it in the tanks or on the shelf. but the service and help i have gotten there, even if it costs more i will still shop there. its worth it to me. i drive 400 miles just to get to sudbury. i want that store to stay open. besides if you want to be able to spend a nice pleasant afternoon browsing for your tank then you better spend a little money local or you will be driving to toronto to do it

Bought some freshwater fish on two different occasions over a few months. Both times the fish were extremely healthy and didn't even need to be quarantined. Great gut on em all and awesome fins. Decent selection and helpful, very very friendly staff. Even some really nice, hard to find plants at a very fair price! (cheaper than Ebay even) Beats any big box store any day. Great quality and value.

Just went there today and purchased a small beta fish and a small catfish. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful, and were extremely knowledgeable about the fish. They also really didn't take advantage of my lack of fish experience - gave me what I exactly what I needed :) Fish are all healthy and happy, and great prices! Will be returning to get more fish soon!

I waited 6 weeks for my order and still nothing. In the past I went in to by neons and I ended up with cardinal. I quest they can"t tell what is what.I rather got were people now there stuff. From now on I'm going to big all's. Much nice fish lots to chose from and they now there stuff.

Don’t have them Oder you fish they tell you they will get them and to come in they all way get them thersday noprobelm you drive over a hour to get there and nuthin is there they say next week same time and u call to make shere and that tell you that the guy that was going to Toronto to get them dos not cuz he didn’t feel like it not the way to run a bisniss not shopping there and I spend a lot on fish to bad
