The cool thing about this place is that it's one of the only spots to buy groceries for a bunch of kilometers in either direction. Much appreciated for people on bikes! I saw that they were retiring soon which is both sad and understandable.

Prices are ridiculous. Went there for a cheap rod combo, asked for assistance, ended up spending $125, which I'm okay with spending a little extra for quality, but then I google it when I get home and the same rod at Canadian tire for $65. Place has no morals, just a cashgrab. And because of the "store credit only" return policy, I'm out $125.

Good fish and chips. The sweet potato fries are delicious. I'd be happier if the poutine was with cheese curds. Also... it's dissapointing that they are using Styrofoam containers. Fun colorful spot for selfies.

So cool ???? what an awesome place to stop and look for goodies. Food was really good I had onion rings and they were delicious. We also found deals on shirts in the souvenir shop. So many cool carvings. You can't miss this place from the road. Stop here to breathe it all in.

We're in the middle of a long trip from Thunder Bay to Niagara Falls, and this was smack dab in the middle! The service was so welcoming that we could've stayed all day! The hunting section was closed, but there were many cute souvenir options! I loved the moose toilet paper holder (wish I had gotten a picture). His face was the best! We both got fresh baked muffins on the way out, sooooo good! Best muffins we've ever had, hands down!

My review is specifically for the hunters headquarters. Everytime I have purchased something from the hunting store it's been a pretty good experience. I think they know me by name now actually. I have purchased two firearms, a lot of ammo and also a case and boresnake cleaner. Dave is a really nice guy and if he doesn't have what you want he will get it for you. Some people complain about pricing but you have to realize they are a small store and they go through a supplier not like Cabela's who can get everything wholesale right from the source. That being said it's only a little bit more money, like 5%. Perrys gun shop across the street will charge $100 more than the suggested retail price of certain firearms. I also bought a 12GA from the trading post as my first purchase from them. I didn't like the quality of the screws that came with the firearm so I brought it back and was credited the amount I paid. I used that and then paid the difference to buy something better and have since put many rounds through it. I also went back in to buy a bigger gun Case than the one I originally purchased and guess what? They just traded me for it. No one else would do that - not in Sault Ste. Marie. Seriously. Try this place.

I stopped here on my way north to get a fishing license and some gear. The staff was very helpful in explaining which license was best for our trip. They also had all the fishing gear we needed. When I got home I realized I'd never grabbed my driver's license from the person helping me and went all weekend without it. I got all the way home back in the US before I realized it. I made a quick call to the store and they had it waiting for me and since I wasn't coming back they were more than happy to put in the mail for me. Great store, great service.

Don't stop here if you just need gas and a washroom. Pumps are archaic. One toilet per mens and women's washroom and you need a key. You could pee your pants waiting after a long drive.
