Chummy's always has great food with excellent service. Highly recommend their breakfast specials. Awesome burgers as well, they always make them fresh. You get a lot of fries that are made fresh. Some of the best poutines in town in my opinion. Pricing is fair and reasonable, all around great experience every time never had a bad experience!!.

Really big portions! Definately worth the money. We had the all day breakfast and it was really tasty. Servers were busy but there was lots of room and it didn't feel crampt. The biggest draw is the carvings of wild life, they're incredible! Check them out if you're in the area, you won't regret it.

Literally the best breakfast I have had in a restaurant -- and I have had a LOT of breakfasts in restaurants in my 69 years! The home fries were delicious, the rye-bread toast was home-made and also delicious, the eggs and bacon were perfect and the service was perfect. Couldn't ask for better! Awesome restaurant!!!!! I wish I lived in the Soo so I could eat here more often.

Went for lunch at Chummy's today for the first time ever, my mom and I ordered the large poutine, its no joke folks, it was huge! But so so yummy! The waitress was super sweet and nice. I will def be back to try some of the other menu items!

It is a very busy restaurant, had to wait about 10-15 minutes for dinner time service, but the wait was worth it. The food portions are big and the price is very reasonable. No tax!! The food is excellent, I tried the hamburger and macaroni soup, so good! Remember it as a kid having that soup. Tried a bit of the pickerel fish, very good! Wish I was more hungry to try out their burgers or the fish & chips. The Indian taco looked savory and filling. The only negative experience was not enough staff to deal with the influx of customers. The waitresses were running around, and my friend had to remind the waitress to bring my soup, while my friends were all waiting. Overall, a good place to stop by for a great meal!

Went to Chummys with my family for brunch. The potatoes weren't even cooked they were as though they chopped them and just threw them on the grill for 2 seconds then served them. I used to rave about chummys but this is the second time I have had uncooked potatoes with my breakfast. Definately won't be going back. The servers were great it wasn't their fault.

Excellent food, nice place. I’ve never seen so many fries in a serving with my burger. Burger was definitely home made and tasted fantastic. Fries were crispy and abundant. Salad was fresh made. Only complaint was I was freezing.

Four of us had breakfast /lunch yesterday. Good food and large portions. Blueberry pancakes are very good—and big. Real maple syrup provided. Good wraps and fries. Service good and friendly. Reasonable prices. Lots of impressive wood carvings to look at. Baked goods for sale at counter looked delicious. The only drawback was that it got a bit noisy when the place filled up.

In the past the quality of food was great. The last 3 times it has been aweful. Ordered a closed hot hamburger and got an open faced and the carrots were mush. Then ordered a hamburger and it was raw. Now i ordered a chicken ceaser salad and the romaine was half rotten and limp. Not fresh at all.

Hubby and I had breakfast here today. Our first time eating here and we were not disappointed! We both ordered the big breakfast. The food was hot, portions were large and the service was great considering how busy our waitress was. She checked on us once but no word of a lie, she didn't stop running while we were there! One of the, if not the, best places in town for breakfast. My family’s go-to spot before hitting the lake for the weekend. Killer omelettes. Service is always great and fast. Can’t beat the home style cooking and in house baked good are to die for.

Wasn’t impressed last night , ordered my granddaughter the pancakes and ham and the pancake was so burnt it was black on one side and the cook obviously put the burnt side down so we wouldn’t see it , my husband ordered the scrambler which is his favourite and it was burnt . Another waitress came by and seen the pancake and offered to take it back to get another one made . Our server didn’t seem to know what she was doing . The couple behind us seen the burnt pancake and they were appalled that it was served to us …will not be going back anytime soon .

pre-covid, I thought this place was awesome - great food, large portions reasonable price. Last Monday wife & I went there for a late breakfast - loved their pea meal bacon and eggs and was looking forward to it. Ordered eggs over easy, pea meal, hash browns and brown toast - eggs were hard and cold, toast was burnt, pea meal used to be a thick slab from RJs but this was thin slices like the prepackaged bacon and over cooked and the potatoes were home fries and barely warm. Very disappointed compared to my previous experiences. Gonna give them another try but not for several months to see if they can get their act together again.

Enjoyable First Nations and diner fare with a nice family restaurant atmosphere to it with giant carvings of wolves and bears. The "Indian Taco" is great value, not overly-spiced or too strongly flavored but compensates with the sheer size of portion - the frybread is always fresh and tasty. The fish is very fresh, a very simple fry as opposed to an "English-style" fish and chips and while it doesn't have a batter so to speak of, it makes up with its freshness.

Went after hearing Rav reviews and was probably the worst burger I have had at a restaurant. It was half the size of the bun, dry and burnt. I didn't get the toppings I ordered and when I sent it back they slapped some cheese and hot peppers on it. Waitress said there was a new cook and she'd been sending food back all day.
