What a gorgeous place to spend an afternoon. Beautiful scenery, a petting zoo for the kids and delicious food in the restaurant. After a bite, go for a stroll along the trails or walk in the sand beside the river. What a fantastic afternoon!!

Great berry barn burger! The bun had crunch, and the produce was fresh ???? homemade beef patty was cooked perfectly (sorry but I can't stomach pink meat) Flavorful ceasar salad. ???? The Saskatoon Berry BBQ wings had a crunchy exterior, even though they were slathered with the berry BBQ sauce they were not too sweet. The meat was juicy & all the wings were well cooked! Fries were ???? especially when dipped in the white pepper gravy ???? I most definitely recommend going to the restaurant! Great service and beautiful outdoor seating! Also, many interesting things in the gift shop. Grabbed a bag of frozen Saskatoon berries, canned pie filling and jar of jelly. A pair of earrings (lots of jewelry in the shop), a bag of BBQ baked chickpeas, and 3 bars of fudge (1 maple walnut, 2 chocolate). Well worth the trip!

Definitely this is one of the places you MUST visit in Saskatoon. Either Summer or Winter, they will accommodate you accordingly. I visited them on Spring 2021 they have so many attractions there for your family. You will find: Gardening supplies A cute little farm with ponies and goats Nice and cozy landscaping viewing Mini Car rides fir kids entertainment And the FOOD? Spectacular!!! ????

It is a bit on the expensive side, but the food is good and the area is great. There was a petting zoo and pedal go carts even a short train ride. The gift and greenhouse areas are also enjoyable to browse through.

Beautiful and very neat place to spend a few hours . Food at the restaurant is good too, but I found the menu very restricted, not many options Ah the fruit and vegetables you buy there are the best. I love it

Very nice location. Food is good in the restaurant NOT the cinnamon buns you can buy to take home. Those are terrible! It was difficult to locate any cinnamon in them and the top of the bun is very hard and inedible. Worse, it'scovered with that looks like caramel but is actually a completely hardened candy-like substance. There is NO WAY a person can bite through it or even cut through it with a knife. I've never been so disappointed in a baked good. There a long wait to get in to the restaurant. They recently started to only take 2 reservations max because people weren't showing up for their reservations. That makes it hard for others because the walk in wait time can be very long. It was 45 mins today.

Went to the berry barn this weekend. Food was subpar at best. I had pancakes, sausage and meatballs. Sausage was so good! The pancakes were meh nothing special but the meatballs.... Disgusting! I cut into one and took a bite, it was mushy so i checked and it wasn't cooked all the way. I asked the waiter for different ones and he told me that's how they are cooked and that he could deep fry some new ones to try. I said sure and he brought some back a few minutes later and they again weren't cooked all the way. I decided to not eat them. The waiter didnt even take them off my bill. I decided to order a " berried treasure" for dessert... I love getting it at taste of saskatchewan.. Unfortunately it tasted freezer burnt. The waiter decided to charge me for a half order instead of the full order. Overall not impressed and probably wont ever be back.

It's been a family tradition to go to the Berry Barn. It never disappoints and is worth the drive. Love the flowers in summer too. Just gorgeous! Oh and the waffle topping bar - YUM!! One of everything for me :)

The Berry Barn is a lovely place to walk around, but not the best place to have a meal. Pros: Friendly staff and quick service, gorgeous view of outside from the sunroom, fair prices, and several gluten-free menu options. The waffle was crispy and fluffy. The salad was a nice, large portion. Cons: The food — mostly the toppings. I was very excited about the Saskatoon Berry Vinaigrette, and sadly disappointed; it was chunky and had an overwhelming garlic flavour. All of the fruit toppings were in a thick, sweet goop. And the peach topping had cinnamon spice in it — which took away from the flavour more than it added to it. The whipped cream was over-whipped. Very few hearty vegetarian meals. **We ordered the half portion of waffles, but it didn’t seem like the topping portions were halved. I’m not too outraged at this because I know that under NORMAL circumstances guests are able to go up to the topping bar, look at the toppings, and decide how much of each one they want. TLDR: Overall, the food is OK — nothing worth making the trip from Saskatoon to eat.

Unique experience @theberrybarnyxe @Saskatoonfarm. Even during COVID, they were open and very busy. Waffles are super large. If you eat like a mouse, order half the size. You might go into a waffle coma after eating. Enjoy the attraction - flowers, gardens, the river view and the berry shop. Great summer attraction.

It’s a little bit different with our last visit. But Foods are always delicious. There’s a pony ride and petting zoo that time, they are so adorable. Nice to see kids that are enjoying it.but i was looking for 2 big ???? nowhere to locate them.=(

Went to try Pony ride and Go-Pedal. See the nature and check out vegetable. Clean facility, nice and beautiful nature. Perfect for taking picture or for professional photo session. I like little decorations and trees. We did not try meal in the restaurant. Good following the Covid-19 protocols, safe and social distancing. Carts were disinfected after each person. If you need cash just request a to get in for cash back so you will a get cash back on a till.

Perfect place to have breakfast or dessert in lap of the nature, which is only 20 min ride from the city of Saskatoon. Besides the barn flows the beautiful south Saskatchewan River, that adds wonderful experience to your visit. They do also have there own bakery, nursery, and do also provide some activity like go carting. Amazing place to visit on day offs or even on half day. ???? To get your mind superb refresher.

I wish I could give the Berry Barn more stars. I love the atmosphere and it’s such a great place to take visitors. But wow the management is rude. I have never had a good experience with their staff and I’ve been at least a dozen times in the past few years. They are so rude when you call (if they answer the phone at all) and the wait staff is the same. The food is also mediocre at best. I hope someone else buys it eventually and focuses more on customer satisfaction.

Place is beautiful, I really enjoyed the scenery however, the food was absolutely awful and so is their service, our waiter only showed up to our table to ask for our orders and to drop off our food. We had to get salt and pepper ourselves from the waiters station and we went to the front desk to ask for our bill.

Holy heck. Normally it's not this hard to choose what you want but this time? I'll have one of everything. Dan our server was pleasant to deal with, the wait to get in on a Sunday wasn't long and the food was incredible. Huge portions of quality food at good prices? Sign me up. The grounds, even in the rain are worth a stroll around and don't forget to stop in the garden center and get yourself a little something to take home????

Went there last September. The entrance leads to a gift shop then the restaurant. Everything smelled so fresh and warm! The staff were extremely helpful and happy to make recommendations when asked. There's a variety of food and souvenirs not just for the berry barn but also Saskatoon. So definetly worth a look. The barn itself is very well kept with variety of activities catering to all age groups. Petting zoo, sandy lake, instagrammable decorations....you name it. Worth spending a relaxing Sunday there.

Sweet place to go for a drive, get a cinnamon bun, a cannoli, and enjoy the view of the river. The shop has a lot of interesting souvenirs and gifts. A great place to spend an afternoon.

Nice place with a decent amount of parking. Can be very busy with wait times on weekends. Locally owned and everything tastes great. The scenery is nice as it’s located alongside the river. Wish there was a bit more work done along the riverbank. Lots of garden things to purchase. I would come back but personally not on weekends. Best on a sunny day for a great experience. Nice place.

A friend had recommended that I check out this place. It is about 20 minutes out south if Saskatoon so it isn't too bad of a drive. It is also very easy to find as they have a sign telling you when the entrance is coming up. It was a short stay for me but I did order the most popular Saskatoon berry pie, I loved it it. The pie was not sugar loaded, and mine had a scoop of vanilla ice cream added on top, which I think is the best combination. Their brunch menu looks amazing and I have seen other people order it, too bad the opening hour is fairly late in the morning during the week at around 11am. What's also cool is this is a u-pick berry farm when it is the season, they also have souvenir shop that sells their own product made from Saskatoon berry. They also have a nice patio and secluded beach area. Check the photos I have uploaded!

Recently had a great experience eating at The Berry Barn. No one in Saskatoon makes waffles this tasty, and the topping bar is just too good! Had a very friendly server and the whole experience was great! Always a nice place to take people who are visiting from out of town, or even just a great place to go for a casual date. Location can’t be beat!

Nice place to spend some times on the weekend. A cosy restaurant, nice atmosphere and a cute local shop. A morning in summer my friends and I went there to have a brunch. First of all, we wanted to sit in the patio (or if I can call it the terrace) but one of the waitresses said it is fully booked. We sat on a table inside and had our brunch and interestingly during the whole time that we were there no one sat on those empty tables in the patio and it was so embarrassing. Second, quality of the food was good. A little pricey but not that much. I ordered a pancake and I was happy with that, because of the blueberry jam and my husband went for an omelette, which he found it not delicious. He could smell the egg. But after all, we went for a walk in its great nature beside the building and close to the river bank. There is a blueberry orchard that you can buy as much as you pick. We went bought some plants from the plant shop, near the parking area. It was a great day and it is worth to go there at least once a year.

Famous place for brunch/breakfast. The offerings are available all day long. The berry pie with a side of whipped cream and a dollop of icecream is most loved to end the brunch with. Would recommend reservation since the place is crunched during peak hours. Has outdoor seating area with a riverside view. Excellent for kids as it has a lot of games and fun stuff for adults who love shopping or gardening.

It's a nice play for a day out with family or friends! They have a petting zoo, a restaurant, go kart, they sell fresh veggies and plants and planters. Also, they have started a toy train. Takes like 20 min from Saskatoon. Ample parking spot if you arrive before 11. No outside food accepted. The oy thing is that I wish they had picnic spots too ! They have wheelchair accessible parking near the restaurant

We were passing by this place and number of cars parked made us curious and when we got in we could not agree more that it was one of the finest place in Saskatoon. The food and ambience was too good and so were the servers who were polite and welcoming. We tried the one of the signature desert SASKATOON BERRY PIE and Amazing is the word. We loved it so much that we came back twice on subsequent weekends. Over and above it has beautiful garden trail with swing, Cattle feeding and Berry plucking which was of great experience too. Love the place :)

We had a good time with friends there. The atmosphere was great inside. The food was good, and a little pricey but it is understandable as it is considered an attraction here in Saskatoon. I enjoyed everything but the dogs, as I am afraid of dogs. I didn't go for a walk as I am afraid of the dogs. But the place looks so nice I had the classic breakfast with sausage. My husband had the chicken burger. The salad dressing was very good. Highly recommended.

A wonderfully-peacefull escape just outside the city, and a great place to spend a couple hours. The restaurant is quaint and provides country comfort food, but a bit pricey for the portion size and quality. The greenhouse has lots of trinkets for a garden and just the basics for plants.

A lovely place to go spend some time enjoying the outdoors. There were so many flowers in bloom it was difficult to determine which arrangement I enjoyed most. The local dogs that meander the grounds are terrifically friendly and a delight to see. It did seem like there are a lot of signs posted about things not to do here which made it feel a little less inviting. Imagine it is necessary with the amount of visitors who enjoy this little slice of heaven on earth.

Beautiful day. Awesome setting along the river. Sandhill Cranes wwrelanding and taking off from the river so their sounds filled the air. Grandkids loved feeding the goats and animals in the petting zoo. Then they had a pony ride. Lots of people enjoying the outdoors. Lunch was excellent. Masks had to be worn and proof of vaccination shown. If you left your table you had to put your mask back.on. Felt very safe. Highly recommend the borscht and cheese/potato perogies and farmer's sausage.

Went to Berry Barn for Thanksgiving dinner with family. The lady at the front counter asking for vaccine passports was very rude to us and a few others as well. Not a good way to start the morning. The waitress was excellent and so was the food..we wanted to check out the gift shop but again that same lady was directing unmanagable traffic so we did not bother. We wanted to check out the greenhouse but the lady working there was not very pleasant so we ended up leaving. Musy have been a bad day for some of the workers. Its too bad because we were ready to purchase a big painting inside and some pumpkins but decided not to.

On a trip to the Berry Farm this past summer we purchased 4 bottles of Saskatoon syrup , when we went to open 1 a couple months ago it was like water. We checked the other 3 and two were also like water while the fourth was a hard jelly. We’ve reached out via email multiple times to discuss this but have had no response back. Sad really, it WAS one of our favorite excursions in Saskatoon.

We got recommendation and we were here twice within two days as we are on holidays. The dining was great, we were waiting 5 to 15 min to get the table. The service was great and the taste of the food awesome, portions are great, they have a small souvenir shop, plus some sweets. Excellent. We tried moca roll and some berry triangle and it wasnt too much sweet, which was perfect and so we enjoyed the taste. We would recommend dinning here ????❤???? fantastic place
