Takeaway has an abundance of local products and inspiring flavourful things like honeys, hot sauces, crackers, etc. I love getting down to this shop!

A great place for buying unique ingredients which cant be found anywhere else. Amazing selection of cheese which can tasted and knowledgeable staff that will guid you to the next future favorite. The owner is passionate about everything she sells and the energy carries over to all of her staff. Give this place a visit if you like tasty treats.

The best place to go for an great selection of delicious cheeses. They also get in tons of great products (bagels, mustard, dips/sauces, Lockwood sourdough bread!) from around the province and beyond. Friendly, bright, and knowledgeable staff make the entire shopping experience a delight!

Takeaway Gourmet is phenomenal with a HUGE selection of deliciousness ♥ I got married this summer and my fiance is a total cheese lover. As a surprise I wanted to have one of the tiers on our cake a layer of cheese and the owner made the dream come true! She brought in a huge block of 6 year aged white cheddar from Quebec (which was also awesome that she sourced within Canada) and formed the block of cheese into a round tier that fit PERFECTLY on our cake. My husband was so thrilled and said it was the best cheese he's ever eaten ♥ The cheese layer was the second from the top with the ribbon around it. THANK YOU!

Finally the place to find from Montreal Baggels to Irish Cheddar or Dutch Gouda. If you know your cheese, this is the place where you can meet it again. . . Cured Prosciutto and other cold cuts ready to delight one's senses with the traditional european specialities. Right around the corner from the Pacific Fish Store in the Cathedral area and across the street from Safeway.... Where would you go?????

Takeaway Gourmet is one of the best cheese shops in Saskatchewan. Their selection is impressive, and you will never be disappointed in anything you buy. If cheese isn't your thing (pft, yeah right), there is also an impressive selection of Hors d'oeuvres, cured meats, lots of pickled goods, along with rotating desserts and breads from various local businesses. The entire staff treats everyone like family, and I've never left without a good impression or great recommendation. Everyone seems to have a great knowledge of the products being sold, and on top of that, seem to really love working there. It's a pleasure to visit, and I highly recommend.

You do not have to be a cheese connoisseur to enter the doors of this store! Being local-centric, this store offers a variety of products from other local vendors including a few of my favs: Chef Malcolm Homemade Pies, and Lockwood Sourdough. Also, they host pop-ups here and there which adds a nice level of excitement to the shopping experience. If you are a budding cheese-o-holic you should treat yourself by making this your go-to cheese supplier!

I wanted to love it but my expereince was very mixed. I was looking to have some charcuterie boards done up for an event we were hosting. I messaged them asking for photos, pricing and options but was told to call in. When I called in a spoke to a gentleman who was very helpful and I expalined exactly what we needed. I placed an order for 2 boards which he assured me would be lots of the number of guests we had and then added on additional items on the side included fresh baguettes. When we went to pick up the order just before the event there was no where near enough food (two small trays for 16 people) and there was no bread. When we inquired we were told by the people wokring there that that morning staff handle it and we have nothing to do with it. When we asked about the bread we wre told they have not had it for like 2 weeks but no one thought to call us or advise us to make alternative arrangements. I have had MUCH better experinces with other local businesses for charcuterie boards and will not be going back.

We went in for the pop up pizza event. Very nice owners, staff and customers. Everyone is friendly and they even offer samples of the specialty cheeses. Lots of local and specialty items to try.

Super helpful humans. Love their cheese boards and the suggestions they give for any meal, but especially their cheese choices for my homemade mac n cheese. My kids are huge fans too and love trying all the different cheeses. My 10yo has started trying to send me subliminal messages to order cheese boards every other week (it works most of the time). Also, the sourdough and bagels they bring in are amaaazing! And the escargots - yum!

The owner's brother was very accommodating and showed lots of enthusiasm and love for the store. He gave us lots of cheese samples to help us decide which one to get. They also sell scrumptious home made pies which reminds me of a coffee bakery place back home. And they sell never been frozen Bagels from Montreal.
