The woman working was extremely helpful. Spent a good amount of time asking about our dog and informing us of all the options and benefits of different types of dog food for him. At the end she gave us food samples to try to see which our dog preferred so we could come back and buy after we test them out. We will definitely be back to get our food there. Service was above and beyond. Thank you!

They have a good selection of good quality pet food, a large variety toys, and dozens of leashes, collar and harnesses. It is a good place to take your dog is they are sociable.

This is my go-to store for everything my two cats need. The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Has a wonderful small shop feel with the open space and lower inner shelving units. Prices are competitive despite it being a smaller store.

My doggy really loves the selection. They lay out the chews in displays that dogs can examine! There's a wall of unique clothes, a wall of rabbit and caavy needs, cat needs, dog needs, furnishings, toys, specialty foods. You can get your BARF or frozen raw pet foods here. I really find the staff fun to interact with too, and they often bring their own pups along for the day so there's always a friendly fur buddy to say hello to.

Everyone there is pretty helpful and has some decent pet knowledge and they also don't hunt you around the store and let you browse if you want. Always happy to answer questions about the products. And they sell very good quality pet food and pet furniture. Go to place in Saskatoon for our pets!

We go here sometimes. I think a better buisness practice would be to raise the price sticker on the item first then change it at the till . This would take the mystery out of how much money your products will cost.

I was surprised at the lack of knowledge regarding the raw dog food. We entered the store and the two girls working didn't greet us and continued with their conversation. We found the freezers for the raw food ourselves and looked through it. Finally, a girl approached us. I asked several questions about the raw dog food and she couldn't provide any solid answers. She was quite shy and quiet. I hear advertisements on the radio all the time for pet planet saying how knowledgeable they are. This is not the case at the 8th street location.

Called about availability of an product. Twice. In an row. Recieved confirmation and proceeded to travel the 40 km to the store. Not only was the product an complete catfish, they charged double the quoted price because the price I brokered about was for an xxsmall. First day off in 17 days and I wasted over 2 hours with pet planet. Side note: chuckit balls and sticks are 210% cheaper at Walmart than here.

Love Pet Planet! Definitely my go to pet store. Great food options for cats and dogs and a fair amount cheaper than larger stores. Love getting my food and treats there. Toys have a good selection too. Really cool bulk treat option for dogs, have chews and bone treats and whatnot. Great service and always willing to go the extra mile. Only complaint would be that I like getting raw food medallions for my cat and the times I have got them they tend to be freezer burned. The inside of the medallion is still okay but the outside isn't. Still the only place I can find that kind of food at a reasonable price though. Will continue to return as this place is still the best for food and cat litter.

Not impressed.Made it clear I did not want "old"raw frozen food for my dogs.Most of their packages you can't see inside(instinct brand)When I got it home the large bag of raw chicken was freezer burned bad.Obviously old stock.Not happy at all.Will shop elsewhere.
