Took back a terrible reel by ugly stick. The young kid there was really helpful and knowledgable and was able to return it without the bill. I like more experience than hearing an old guy spout off. I did not want a cheap rod for my kids BC I really just want to buy one and for it to last. Tie a rope to rod then to life jacket so it's not dropped in the water BC this is why cheap Rods are bought. He gave me some good ideas for my next rod, and I bought a decent reel. I just need to wait until some rods go on sale to purchase one more.

What place promotes hunting but has a tiny little isle for arrows? I honestly hate going in cause they never have anything I need yet they sell dress clothes, cheese puffs and fudge... how about you guys focus on hunting and fishing and ditch the extra junk, I'd say 95% of people that shop there don't actually hunt.. also their winter camp selection is awful.

store is always clean and items well laid out. lots to look at , appreciate that they hire young people , they are polite and helpful. my ordering online story is awful tho... ordered 2 items. waited 7 days finally called in and they said only 1 they could " find" in their warehouse so they shipped it. then got a email telling me it finally shipped out with Ups. it has sat another 7 full days without creating a shipping label. all in all its been 16 days to get nothing moving. this is my first time ordering online with them.. and yup you guessed it.. MY LAST. simply put it's run awful and no real communication to the customer. Not professional when you have to babysit the completion of your order calling them every week as nothing is moving.

Their selection of camping and fishing gear is pretty handy but when they have sales on certain items is when this place becomes great. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Covid-19 times aside, they usually have extra activities happening in the store as well... so if you're the type of person that shops at Cabela's, then you'd probably find it worth your time to check out their schedules for those events, as you might find something you like!

My husband bought me a brand new gun from candian tire in swift and brought it straight to cabelas to get a scope put on, they did it but don't let you you see your gun after. He gave it to me at home and there is scratches and nicks in the stock and the scope is slanted not even straight. Calling store in morning as we live out of town and it was closed when he got home. So livid right now!
