My kids and I were taking a trip to Sarnia from Wheatley so I looked up best fry stands in town. This place meets all requirements! Food was delicious, fresh, large servings and affordable. We tried the Mexi fries, loaded fries, popcorn chicken and fries, stuffed spuds, and the spicy chicken burg. We will definitely return! Fantastic!

Go there just before it got busy. Great selection of Chapman's ice cream. Waffle cones available. Take cash or Debit only. Friendly helpful staff. Read the sign before you go in. Not much room for social distancing so they ask for only 2 groups at a time or Max of 4 people in the shop. You go through the back door and exit the front door.

I have been going to Albert's Rolling Lunch since before there was grass and Parks underneath the bridge..... I was disgusted with the Sarnia Town Council/ Point Edward Town Council .... & still am..... for making Albert's Rolling Lunch leave that area..... They have many different types of icecream and various tastes, when I went there for the first time I just supposed when I saw a long line of people over there, they have a sitting place for those who wants to enjoy with eating icecream there, but I didn't have it there because I was going to enjoy at the water front near the bridge . Walking over there with an icecream is a typical summer vibe in the area, do don't miss it. I recommend this place and try the Unicorn ???? toots one which is really yummy. I moved out of sarnia 5 years ago and never come to visit without a stop at Alberts!!! Its come so far since it first opened and the food is still amazing! There's usually a huge line but it moves quickly so dont be fooled! Highly recommend the poutine and hotdogs and its about a 3 second walk to a great park and view of the bridge!

I used to love Albert's, but on a recent visit, a friend asked what type of oil they were using. Both being vegetarians, I did take it on their posted word that they used vegetable oil, she, clearly more diligent than I asked and I am glad she did. Turns out they are NOT vegetarian or vegan friendly at all, it's false advertising. Something most people wouldn't care about, but those of us who don't eat animal products do want and need to know to make an informed decision. Upon this discovery I was appalled as this business had advertised otherwise on their sign, it isn't misleading it's a flat out lie. If you eat meat, this won't be a problem for you, but if you're vegetarian or vegan, SKIP this place, don't bother it came straight from their employees that they are using animal fat not vegetable oil on their fries.

Disappointed with the famous "bridge fries." Under cooked fries and super slow service. Chicken fingers were hard and gross. Don't bother trying the fish either. Everything seems freezer burnt then deep fried. Big thumbs down.

Alberts Fries has started this week with lot of amazing items on the menu My favourite thing here is veg spuds with zesty ranch. Large Poutine which has gravy and shredded cheese instead of cheese curds which is amazing ! You can add onions and different veggie to make it taste more good. Service is fast! Great view to sit under blue water bridge.

The fries here are always fresh! It's always packed during the summer, and it's great that you can get ice cream right next door. They do lose a few points for having a hard time making slight changes to an order, such as loaded fries with no bacon (it took them 3 tries to get it right), as well as the general lack of cleanliness in the restaurant. Expect to step on a few fries and have a dirty table if you sit in.

Had the privilege of visiting the shop after a lunch date at Albert's. After viewing the selection of ice cream an noticing that there isn't much to cater to people who lactose intolerance I was slightly disappointed. Feel that it would be nice to see more variety for those who can't enjoy a nice cool refreshing cone during the summer. Plenty of flavors for everyone. You will definitely find something that interests you there. Overal service and presentation was wonderful, hope to visit again and see something new!

I came from out of town with my family and ordered 6 poutine's. To my absolute Horror we received shredded cheese and gravy. I should asked for a refund right then and there. Poutine is made with cheese curds. Anything else is an insult to your clientele and canadians. Rip off.

Even during the pandemic, they are open..strict protocols in place, adequate signage and directions, seems everyone following the rules. Great to be able to enjoy some great simple fries under the bridge. Thanks for being open during covid and providing your great fries for another season. Definitely recommended!

This place was recommended by an acquaintance. I am not sure why the fries are so popular, they were ok. Ice cream was yummy. There is a great splash pad park across the street with a covered picnic table area to enjoy your food, as the small eatery can be a little crowded at times.

Having grown up in Sarnia I remember the Albert's fry truck under the Blue Water bridge. It was alway a treat to get "fries under the bridge"... We were excited to get our first fish and chips of the season when we could during the pandemic. Yesterday we finally went... what a disappointment!! The service was terrible, as they processed orders as if you were at a government agency "next, next, next..." Once the order was ready they dropped them on a table and yelled your name and vanished. They did not wait to ensure your oder was correct or if you needed anything else. In our case I tried to get their attention as we needed some condiments... As our food got cold and I tried to get someone's attention after about five minutes the next order was slapped down on the table. The person looked at us and when I said we have been waiting and trying to get their attention I got a dismissive look and it appeared we inconvenienced her to give us the condiments. When we finally did go to eat the fish and chips... the fries were not even the golden brown we used to love but still white, so as close to be under cooked as could be and cold... the Halibut was basically a couple of fish sticks... needless to say I don't see us eating there again.
