This place is beautiful inside. Nice brick walls and beautiful ceiling. It's an old jewelry store so they have a volt for their beer room. So unique. Great staff, cold beer and tasty nachos. Keep up the good work!

My friends and I are from out of town and just happened to pass by this place . WOW , are we ever glad we did . The food was absolutely amazing and surpassed our expectations. We ordered a beef brisket pountine as a app to share and it was delicious . We all ordered the burgers with different sides and nothing disappointed. The burgers were so tasteful and fresh and the salad and soup (sides) were magnificent . We will def come by again in the future. Our waitress Ashley was also fantastic and gave great service!

It's been about a year since we were last at Sideways.. I enjoyed our visit then.. it has improved since then.. I had the philly on naan.. great flavour.. good portion.. the fries were not as crispy as I would like but my wife's sweet potato fries were excellent..the service was very good both from our server and the manager. A nice selection of beer although I didn't have any as it was lunch.. a reason to return soon.

We LOVE Sideways - everything from the vibe, to the great servers, to the incredible food. We were there on a Saturday night - wasn't overly packed, but was certainly steady. Between the 3 ladies working, we were constantly attended to - checked in on, drinks were kept flowing and food came out hot. Their wings too... They're not to be missed. #lemonpepperparm I'm practically drooling typing, thinking of them. Haha! A great place here in Sarnia - not to be missed.

One of my favorite places to go to for drinks and Roadhouse type food. Poutine is really good, I love the spicy bacon poutine. Poutine needs really good fries and decent gravy and Sideways had that covered. For me they have one of the best burgers in the area - it is excellent. Beer selection is good but not great - could use some more craft beers. Wine selection is good.

Tried Sideways tonight and really enjoyed the atmosphere, staff and the food. While my friends ordered Poutines (with varying opinions), I tried the Philly Brisket Burger. It was one of the best burgers I've ever had. The brisket was amazing (tall praise from a Texan) and perfectly complemented the burger. I only wish I could find this back home. This will now be one of my go-to meals whenever I'm in Sarnia. Highly recommended.

Goood poutine. We crossed an international border just to get poutine. Burger was also good, though maybe not worth the price, even with an exchange rate. They didn't have any unsweetened iced tea...but the waitress brewed me a cup of tea and poured it over ice, without me asking. Our service was great. Other family members' food was not so great. So, a mixed bag, but good, on the whole.

Gotta be honest, I went in with low expectations and was very pleasantly surprised. The Shrimp in the appetizer we ordered were huge! And then the Chicken Vindaloo curry was awesome. I love curry and this was hot, fresh, and tasty with a generous portion of chicken too. Only concern is that because its a long and narrow room, it tends to be a bit loud, but if you're looking for a happening and busy place to go, there's nothing wrong with that.

Was out getting some things done down town when. I saw this place. Just pulled up to the bar and ordered 20 wings. They were even good as leftovers the next day! One of the other patrons I was talking to actually said that she worked there as a bartender, and she ordered food to! She said they have the best kitchen. If the staff look at the kitchen and still love it then it's good enough for me! Get the wings!

Small place, but good food. High-end pub fare with good burgers, wonton nachos, and a couple gluten-friendly options. Decent selection of beers on tap and a good overall atmosphere for lunch or dinner. Avoid on First Friday as its packed to the point of standing room only!

Used to love this place but the food has gone down hill. They used to have my wife's favourite burger but the past handful of times it has been mediocre. From what I hear the staff turnover is quite high here which makes it hard to keep the food tasting consistent. Service is always top notch though.

I can't say enough good things about Sideways. Nachos = amazing! Wings = good! (although price went up $.30 each haha). Just had chicken vindaloo for lunch = major deposit of love units into my heart. WOW! Highly recommend this joint. Could be the best place for a date night or just for a quick bite in town... if you can get in, as it's often packed.

Awful staff, boyfriend didnt like his food after eating one piece, took the bartender (who was nice and understanding) to come over not even a waitress.. then the waitress comes back with the food after coming from the back and says she has to charge us even with barely eating it. Great customer service. Will not be back.

The burger was amazing. My partner said it was the best burger she's had in years. Fish and chips were great; fish itself was excellent but the batter was just a bit bland. Tasty but just needed that little something extra to knock it out of the park.

I ordered the grilled cheese because the server recommended it as her favourite item and it was the worst grilled cheese I’ve ever had in my 26 years of life and then I got the Buddha bowl which had a hair in it... server did a great job still and was very attentive to the issues that had taken place but I would tell anyone who is looking for food from sideways to go to McDonald’s for better food... great place to drink and amazing service from the servers but DO NOT EAT AT SIDEWAYS !!!!

After a long day helping a friend find his way around Sarnia, we embarked upon this little place. We expected nothing, but walked away with one of the most wonderful cuisine experiences one can have in this town. Ashley, being our waitress for the evening was fantastic at guiding us through the favourite dishes, and we decided to have the briskette poutine, and the sideways burger. We were not dissapinted. Infact, I dare to say that I had the best burger in my life! This place is worth the visit for its food and the beautiful people that will serve you. Will visit again!

Been going here for a while. Pretty much done now. Sick of rediculous prices. Wing night special... like 90 cents a wing... sweet special... oh wait... you can get carrots and celery for $4.... hahaha hahaha... who owns this place.... I drop in quite often for a few beers after work... the servers and staff rock... good service clean nice bar.... but this place needs to get real with the prices... I ordered a ruben perogie special. Was an appatiser. Consisted of like 6 of them hardly filled with meat and hardly any sourkraut... now they were decent, dont get me wrong. That's fine... but for maybe $7... and I'd still be mad paying that. But no the greedy owner thought that $13 sounded better.... was blown away when I got my bill. I will spend my money elsewhere from now on.. apart from the odd pint.... Anyway. Staff is great. But management needs to get a grip.

We have been there twice, each time we were greeted immediately, the staff is very friendly. Our server each time was right there when we needed her. First we order burgers, amazing, tasted so good. The next time I ordered a salad, which was delicious and my husband ordered the fish which he said tasted great. I would go there again in a minute!

Cute spot in downtown Sarnia with a nice atmosphere. They have a nice selection of cocktails, wine and beer. Menu is pub style with modern touches. Place can get busy as its popular with the locals. There are a few large screen TVs so that you can watch the game as well.

Burger was fantastic! Really done well, the meat was flavorful, lots of cheese, thick and juicy. The fries reminded me of new york fries, they were nice and crisp. The gravy was runny and not very good though, but the awesome burger and decent fries made up for it.

Wings are a decent size but the flavors are a mile off of what they say they are. Jamaican jerk tastes absolutely nothing like jerk. The suicide is more like mild or Frank's original at best. Dill pickle was ok but hardly any seasoning it was so lightly sprinkled maybe 1 bite out of each wing was a little dilly kind of a tease if u ask me. Even the girlfriend thought the wings were bad and she loves Dominos wings n there horrible.The chicken cesar salad had chicken so dry I couldn't swallow it. I called and let them know it was my first time ordering from there and how disappointed I was with everything I ordered and the manager said she would call me back and never did. Also way overpriced 3lbs of wings and a Cesar salad was over 60$ before the 11$tip. Poor customer service and bland food I'll never be back

The layout of the place was very nice. However, the bartender, or manager, coughed without his mask on and put it on after. With all of this COVID stuff going on, please keep your mask on or at least sanitize the area.

I always liked this place as I had been here a couple of times. The last time I went however, they completely overcooked my flatbread turning it into cardboard. When I complained they offered to send another one out however we were in a hurry and everyone else at my table had already completed their meals so I just said forget about it. The waitress came back and told me that she 'discounted' my flatbread. I assumed that meant that she removed it from the bill. Not so, they actually discounted $1.50 from a $15 flatbread (total bill of $150). I was completely insulted, will not be returning.
