I find things go bad really quick. I purchased some sandwich meat. The next day I oppend the brown paper and took the top slice and made my sandwich. Later I noticed the bottom slices had mold! These would have been the exposed end. I'm sorry things are cheeper at the big box stores and last longer. UPDATE. I picked up a roast last Saturday at the market. Decided to cube it and make soup instead. You can clearly see how discolored and disgusting it was (the Brown layer). Then the bright red paint thats been applied to the outer layer to make it look fresh! Im done going to the market!!

This is one of my favourite places! Everyone there is so kind and friendly and I genuinely look forward to seeing them every week - not to mention the amazing products available! No matter who you buy from, you'll get a deal on everything to from deli and fresh meats, produce (especially seasonal, in the summer the whole place smells of fresh strawberries), honey, wine, and fresh baked goods. Make sure to try the butter tarts from the ladies at Bayfield Berry, the spring rolls, or the fresh mini donuts. This place is a genuine delight to shop at - good prices and the best people. It's open Wednesday and Saturday 7am-1pm, get there early as vendors can run out on busy days!

Love the Sarnia farmers market. While it is not the biggest place, it does offer a very nice assortment of fresh meat, fish, eggs, cheese, baked goods, fruit and vegetables. Usually a very busy spot, but that just shows how good it is. Parking can be a bit of a challenge sometimes, but there is an abundance of street parking and a small lot behind the farmers market as well. Also be sure to bring cash, yet to see anyone except debit/credit. There is a bank machine on site however should you need it, but who wants to pay those service charges. This place is definetly worth a stop, even if you do have to get up early on a Saturday to get the best selection.

Been going to this place for years. Good all season ace to get local produce and other goodies. The building itself could use a facelift and entrance/exits could be made more friendly to people with mobility needs.

Not the perfect market but being it's winter you can't expect more. Vendor are very kind and friendly can't wait to experience this in the summer/fall

Lots of fresh produce to choose from. Prices are good. If social distancing is important to you, you might not want to go here. Some of the vendors are inside and it was pretty crowded.
