A nice place to pick up lunch for the crew. Fried food get's 'tagged' as being greasy and I don't find that at Perry's. We've added Perry's to our lunch options. Food is great, portions are proper, all the sides are included. Quick and reasonable, yes, greeted with a smile. Highly recommend.

I haven't been there for over 15 years, but was in town, and remembered Perry's had great fried fish when I was growing up. Had a craving for something other than fast food...so I stopped in and ordered the special. The lovely lady who runs the shop (Owner, perhaps?) greeted me warmly and went to work immediately preparing my food fresh. I sat in the wooden pew bench and made pleasant small talk with her until the food was ready. I took it out and was salivating by the time I arrived at my lunch spot. Suffice it to say, the quality of the fish and the taste and freshness was wonderful. Service was top notch. Overall value, for under $7...2 large pieces of fish and fresh cut fries...way better that a fast food value meal. Small shops like this are hard to find in many cities. I'm glad it's still around and can't wait to return again.

Though just take out at this point; their fish and chips were excellent. We had halibut and tried haddock as well. Both were really good. Coleslaw was delicious and good size portion. Look forward to dining in when conditions permit!

First time at Perry's. It's like most chippies in the UK. The halibut was excellent; a nice thick piece rather than a long thin piece. My spouse says the white fish was very good too. I drove a long way home so the fries didn't stay crisp but that's physics not lack of quality. I will be returning for lunch and eat in my car.

This place is excellent. It has been here for many years and continues to produce the same yummy fish all the time. I have never had a problem with any of the staff and the food is delicious. If you like the good old English fish and chips this is the place to be. Good to see them take the fillet and batter it while you wait so you knew it wasnt going to be a frozen portion of fish.. Server/cook was friendly.. willl be back.

Ordered 4 fish and chips. Paid for my order of 52 dollars out of 60.00 and she asked me if I wanted my change back. What???? Who does that.Thought it was kind of ignorant. Gave her 5 dollars anyway. Never ask for a tip. Fish was excellent but the fries were way over done. Didn't get her name but hope she's not there next time.

Perry’s provided the Salmon for a wedding I attended and it was absolutely wonderful!! The service received while ordering was excellent and the price for 40 Salmon fillets was absolutely reasonable. The Salmon was perfect and couldn’t have been better. I have never eaten anything else from there, but it is definitely somewhere I will frequent after that experience.

Not as good as it I remember. The fish has the same great taste but the pieces are half the size they used to be and the price has gone up several dollars. The fries were burnt and bland. I hope this was a poor experience from the hard times or else I'll have to find a new place for fish and chips.

I absolutely love this shop!! So many memories from when I was a little girl..and I'm 33years old and still continue to go when I can!! Friendly staff.. Terry is an amazing lady and works hard to operate this shop...and it shows :) ...my favourites are the halibut and clam strips...but anything on the menu is great!

I thought the fish dinner I got was good but I ordered a fish sandwich for my son and it was the poorest excuse for a sandwich I ever seen . They heated a little dinky bun in the microwave and put the patty on it. Then I ordered coleslaw and I kid you not I could of put it all in a 1 ounce shot glass. I know I would not go back for the price they charge.they are not cheap. So if you pay the price you should get a quality meal.

Quite possibly one of or the best take out fish & chips in Sarnia. Not cheap, but not outrageous in price either. Good portions, still hot when we got it home as well. They can be lined up out the door, don't be afraid to call ahead and place your order. It is the fastest way in and out. Always hot and good prices. Always good. You won’t be disappointed. Take out only. Friendly lady. We visit monthly
