You have all the feddbacks of people who know the products and services of Duty Free Sarnia (Fish Shop) in the area of Sarnia-Clearwater (Canada).
Right now the business gets a rating of 4.4 over 5 and this rating has been based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, its rating is quite positive, and it is based on a very high number of reviews, so we can say that the valuation is very accurate. If there are many people who bothered to value when they are satisfied, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to place scores when they are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Fish Shop is included in the category of Duty free store.
Very clean but prices are pretty high for some things in the store
Less collection on liquor. It says duty free, it almost same price compare to Detroit stores.
Best store to buy liquor...very cheap price. Must give a shot. Friendly staff.
Clean good selections, candy, alcohol, gifts. Washroom usely clean, but some people are just pigs
Great store. Lots of things to choose from. With us its usually bear and wine but they have tons of things to choose from. Dont forget your drivers licence.
Huge selection and great prices. Clean and everything was well-stocked. Don't forget about foreign transaction fees if paying with a US credit card.
Excellent customer service Very friendly people Clean restrooms Great deals inside Stop by Thanks
The coffee shope ladies was delightful but tha atm was broke and they only have one. So getting cash to exchange was impossible.
It's our first stop on western motorcycle tours. Gotta get our "fuel" for the ride. Unfortunately, they no longer sell my favorite HIGH OCTANE juice: Lamb's 151 proof rum. It was great for a bike tour because it was the equivalent of 2 bottles in one - a space saver. Pretty good selection otherwise.
Good selections of alcohol, Perfumes, etc. Make sure that you check their specials. You can download them from their website.
I guess I don't understand the great reviews - the prices at this "duty free" location are the same if not higher than most places for things like alcohol or perfume/cologne. Sure - there are no "taxes" - but big deal. Definitely not worth the drive. The staff at this location are of the "we hate Americans" variety - and trust me - they can spot an american from a mile out. Like many Canadians - especially those that deal with Americans on a daily basis - the staff at this location seem to have a strong distaste for Americans. That may be fair, given the behavior of many Americans - but the collective attitude of the staff at this location were going to garner no better than a 3 star review.
Excellent place where you can get a ton of goods with no tax or duty. Great Canadian booze prices, great cigarette prices and a ton of other odds and ends that you can get. Make sure you know you're car's license plate when you go to check out cause they register the purchase to it: when your go through customs after the bridge you have to declare anything you get there. Always worth at least looking around if you're going through the border.
As a BORDER of Canada to USA, it's pretty fast ... they have many gates for cars or trucks. This duty free is right before the Sarnia border. It's small but the people are very efficient and sweet .
Very busy. We bought some ice wine.
Nice modern store, prices not so good. Alcohol is cheaper in US. Watches can be found cheaper on Amazon.
Vast sections of shelves without product left me unimpressed. They have lots of alcohol, though.
Some great holiday deals; however, no Jack Daniels Fire. They have Gretsky Red!
I had breakfast sandwiches a few times at the Coffee Lodge located after the bridge pay booth in Port Huron, 100 times better than the standard stuffs you get from Tim Hortons / McD. I always get the cafe latte when I am going to Warren, MI - it's perfectly made every time.
Do not make the mistake of passing this place up! The $$$$ I saved... All I can say is wow and the staff was super legit, informative and friendly!
Very nice staff, but they are willing to feign ignorance to get a sale. I specifically asked about if a product was available in the US, she told me no, but I later found out that it was a popular and not specialty item as she lead me to believe.
Rest rooms are very clean. You need to know your prices for the duty free. Check expiry dates before buying any butter tarts!
Great prices on beer and liquor. Just reinforces the fact that Ontarians / Canadians pay taxes through the nose on these items when purchased at non dutyfree locations (like the LCBO or beer store).
Great place to stop as you reenter the United States good normally have some good values I enjoyed this trip very nice store
Really nice store. Prices are reasonable. Nicest public restroom EVER!
Always a great stop before leaving Canada. Prices here are so much lower than other stores in Canada selling the same items.
Good for cheaper than regular cost booze, beer and cigarettes. Everything else is pretty pricey. But the odd good item that you can't find anywhere else.
A good place to shop. Has a decent collection on jewellery, souvenirs and cosmetics. Got wide collection of liquors!❤️. Also, they have some good offers on perfumes (some are 50%off and all other perfumes are on buy one get one 50%off) Pretty much a great place to shop around because of great customer service. The guy on picture has patiently assisted me in shopping, yeah he is good! Thank you guys for staying open and being so welcoming to customers. Would love to visit again. C U again and again!
Great prices and excellent selection + really nice staff. The little cafe here is a blessing on a long drive.
Friendly people.. Prices same as in canadian stores for perfume and alkohol
Great most things were a deal but as always you must your prices. Clean well stocked. NICE
Not as well stocked as it has been in the past.
Sarnia duty free has always been a wonderful place to stop for all our beverages before heading to the states. Such a bright clean and friendly place, even the coffee's fairly good.. Parking has never been an issue, except once it was a challenge getting around the parked transports near the road on to the bridge.
Good store, good prices. Took one star off for not carrying Belmont ciggarettes.
Great Duty Free. Easy to access prior to crossing the border. A reasonable selection of goods at standard prices. Staff were friendly and shop was clean and well organized.
Good place for tax free booze and cigarettes. Plenty of souvenirs, candy, and knick knacks too.
Nice place for shopping duty free. Lots branded products have.
Ughh I was a bit miffed about this location. No bargains, the prices were the same as buying at Total Wine or even Costco. The Duty Free store In Niagara /Buffalo had way better prices honestly. But I couldn't buy from there. This location is overpriced. I couldn't even afford Local made in Canada goods. Such a waste of time coming to this border crossing. It took over 30mins just to pay the toll, and after that about 20mins to get your passport scanned. Be careful when crossing into the parking lot from the toll gate, especially if you are in the extreme left lanes. The store is about the same as any other Duty Free store. It's quite large.
Fantastic front end staff, very knowledgeable
Well laid out with a great cheap selection; however the service is quite rude.
Good for getting some things you can't get at home (such as the international version of Glenlivet) but unless you live in a place with super high taxes or far away from a big city where they sell things at good prices, you only save a couple of bucks, if any. Friendly staff, clean.
It was more like a border liquor store, 3/4 of the store was just alcohol.
They always have best deals for so many things especially alcohol lovers lol
Great selection of stuff including luxury fragrances, liquor, cosmetics and some other small cute souvenir type stuff for good prices and of course tax free!
Clean washrooms and nice deals on alcohol
Well they really need to explain that it's only duty free if you were in Canada for 48 hours or more
A very nice duty free store that stocks a wide variety of products. Occasionally, they have those difficult to find adult beverages.
Great Liquor prices. Remember to check your license plate number before entering.
It's a little tricky to navigate after the toll, if you dont pay attention. Once you enter the store is clean and there are a lot of things to buy. They have an array of items such as t-shirts, hats, food, alcohol, watches, and gloves. The sign at the front of the store has details on how much you can buy and the quantities.
The nicest Duty Free that w have been to. Prices are good and great selection of everything there
Cheap beer even after paying duty. A case of bud light worked out to $30...better than the $47.95 LCBO charges
Clean, well organized, and accessible Duty Free shop before entering US. Makes Sarnia my preferred entrance point into MI.
Love this duty free at Sarnia. Very wide selection of everything one is looking for. Friendly staff.
Thank You DUTY FREE for carrying ICE WINE!!! My favorite wine EVER!!! My husband and I have driven to this Duty Free just to pick up a bottle! The store associates are very friendly and the store always has great deals and it's usually very clean!
Great stop, good services and better prices than on the way back to CA, product variety is really good. Clean washrooms, free wifi and nice stop for a coffee and a bite.
Nice clean friendly place. Just didn't have a couple things we wanted
Friendly service and staff. Really needed to stop after driving 4 hours. Alot of items in the place to buy.
Cash Out people were very kind and helpful, though i feel they can get more people in store who can help potential customers.. Overall good experience..
Easy to get into. Good prices and more importantly we'll stocked. They have lots of the nicer beverages as well as your go to items. Staff is friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are well maintained. The dog walk area is an added extra to take advantage of if travelling with pets. Also an electric car charging station.
It is a nicely stocked store with a wide variety of items. The bathrooms are clean and the service is friendly. If you are in the market for alcohol, beauty product or sweet treats you should definately stop.
Always have some great deals on the usual things you buy at the duty free. Good selection and prices on whisky.
Excellent prices and amazing selection of great products, booze, jewelry, cologne & perfume, cigars, etc. Tax free.
Prices are pretty good depending on what you are buying. People working there are not that friendly or helpful.
Great little place. Lots of cosmetic products, alcohol, jewelry products and souvenir stuff to choose from
I travel from Canada to USA and back. Before buying anything, take the time to understand exactly what your duty free allowance is as it varies depending on the length of your visit. Once past the turnstiles you're in duty-free territory. Look around and you'll realize that not everything is a good value. Best deals are with alcohol, with cosmetics frequently on sale. The best bargains are realized using Canadian funds. Also, if you need US currency, there's a separate building for that before you reach duty free, on the left hand side.
Duty free just means no tax, but these stores can still charge whatever they want. I found it useful to search prices on my phone as I was shopping to see what was worth it.
Good prices on alcohol, decent prices on souvenirs, avoid the perfume. We stopped to avoid having to change back the rest of our Canadian currency.
The Sarnia Duty Free has a large selection of items with extremely competitive prices. The staff are friendly and willing to help (locating products). Parking isn't bountiful, but still ample. Don't forget to write down (or take a picture with your phone) your license plate number, as it is necessary to check out (for reporting and declaration purposes on the U.S. side).
Always clean. The perfect break in our drive for a quick coffee and restroom break. So grateful for the "Family" restroom. Makes diaper changes for our little one SO much easier!
Hey, it's duty-free, the prices are great, and they're open 24 hours. What's not to like?! (Except perhaps a larger selection of liqueurs.)
Duty Free shop offers almost all brands of whisky, vodka etc & perfumes Wash rooms are clean & staff is trained in duty free rules - Ample parking - Open 24 hrs -
I was expecting more especially after visiting the one going into Niagara Falls duty free which was HUGE. They have lots of stuff but not what I was looking for. It is worth stopping, at they have a very friendly and efficient staff.
Its OK, nothing special inside, and low variety of things, prices not that big difference, you can find better deals at Meijer or walmart, or even at any other store.
The place to go for cheap booze and cigarettes. Aside from this, which is the real selling point, the store is clean, well stocked and organized and has a friendly staff.
Staff was very helpful. The place was very well maintained. Good deals on some items.
Great selection, wonderful staff! A must stop on your roadtrip.
Prices where extremely high, i ordered a latte from the coffee shop and she didn't add the flavor to it so i wasted money on a cup of hot milk
Great prices and always get what I am looking for clean well stocked with friendly staff
Very good store to buy some fragrances, liquor and some very rare boxes of sweets.
2 of the Attendants were very kind and assisted me with accessing a hat that was pretty high up on a mannequin. However the young lady that checked my family and I out was a bit rude. The border patrol personnel was also a bit short with us.
Great selection of adult beverages, prices are great too. Always a good last stop going back to the USA.
A very nice place with some great deals. Some of the stuff is really over priced in my opinion, but it all depends on what you're looking for. Obviously it is geared towards travelers so the souvenir and novelty type stuff is pricey, but there is a huge selection of duty free adult beverages!
Great service clean but understocked.
They have great selection on liquor and beer. A good selection also on jewelry, perfume, watch purse and souvenir items. Helpful and friendly staff.
Better prices and selection than other duty free stores in the area.
It's a very nice place. Always clean and bright. The prices are great.
Great selection of products and always friendly staff; however, management team should STRONGLY consider having a rewards points card similar to Windsor's duty free shop. Travelers have options and the fact that this duty free at Sarnia does not have a rewards points card is a strong reason to consider going elsewhere (e.g., Windsor) to start accumilating points. We live in an age where everything gives you points to keep you rewarded and engaged, especially in the world of traveling (think Delta skymiles, Marriott points, etc), so no reason this duty free doesn't have it yet. Please consider changing this! If you had a rewards points card, I'd give 5 stars willingly.
Was actually surprised how good the coffee is (I had dark roast). The scone was really good.
Great prices on all merchandise if you need to stock up on alcohol I highly suggest you stop here...
This duty free is very well stocked. The layout makes sense, and items are easy to find. Great selection of scotch.
Very helpful staff. Decent restrooms. Good prices for liquor.
They sell cheap booze. Beer selection could be better. Also, good candy selction.
Wonderful store. So many kinds of alcohol.... Some I have not seen at LCBO. Quite a selection of cigars, perfumes etc. Nice staff. Would definitely recommend.
We stopped for a little while before crossing the border, just to browse. When checking out, we asked the lady who was assisting for some directions. The other cashier brought a map to us and showed us which way we should go for our destination. He was extremely helpful and made the journey a little more clearer. Unfortunately, I did not catch their names but it was close to 11pm, mid January. I did not enjoy crossing at this border but I did enjoy the duty free. Also, they seem to have a much larger alcohol collection stocked than the peace bridge border. If you're into that.
The staff was very helpful. If you miss the currency exchange when crossing the Canadian/US border you still have an opportunity to exchange your Canadian dollars .
Decent place with all the usual items at a duty free including a nice little coffee shop.
Good prices. Nice place for quick shopping before returning to the US
Good selection
I found some great bargains here. Plus the perfumes are buy one get one for 50% off. I love stopping here on my way back to the states.
The Filipino looking lady at the cashier should be fired immediately for her arrogant, demeaning disrespectful unprofessional behavior. Refuses to get the fax when asked, then she makes up stories about why she doesn't act professionally. Her name is Row as I found out when demand to speak with a manager. Though she said there is no manager, then I asked back, what do you mean by no manager here, then she grabbed someone I guess more senior by position. I find it disgusting that the rudest person gets to represent the Canadian culture at the border. Shame on Canada.
Friendly staff. Lots of stuff to choose from. Much better pricing than in state.
Very helpful and friendly people. Prices on alcohol and cologne is amazing
Great selection of alcohol and great prices. This is one if the best border crossings.
I've never been to that place but can only assume it's a great spot to buy cheap alcohol and tobacco. Great job on sending random notifications to my phone in the middle of the night Google. 5 stars.
Ladies here are awesome. Full product knowledge of the store. Knew exactly where everything was. Super nice aswell. Can also change any money here into american and canadian which i did not know unil they informed me!
Prices are good but you can only get one bottle of liquor so it's almost pointless
Visited late night around midnight. Open 24/7. Varieties of selections. People were nice even though it was late at night.
More booze than anything. Not what I expected at all
Staff followed my child and I around the whole store. I work in retail, so I know what it means when you're being followed. Absolutely disgusting! If the cigarettes weren't so cheap I'd never go back.
You can not argue with the duty free prices. Store personnel had a great sense of humour! Okay, at least in my opinion.
Has coffee and sandwiches/wraps Vegetarian and non vegetarian. I bought a vegetarian wrap. Was good. Good collection of liquor and souvenirs.
They don't carry Belmont which causes one star deducted. They have various selections of cosmetic and skin care like Dior, Estee Lauder, Shiseido etc. You will find a good deal if they have promotion. The washroom is nice and clean as well! This is one of the must-shop duty free!
great prices on alcohol very large selection with things you can only get here sizes only available here. decent price on souvenirs friendly staff
A must stop before you go back the the U.S.A. Very nice and clean and a cool bathroom. Good prices on most things.
Excellent net and clean Reasonable price Friendly
They don't carry all the brands of smokes. Particularly, Belmont which is quite popular and big.
Your ordinary standard duty free shop. No lines, friendly staff, great prices especially on the alcohol. We bought three bottles of whiskey for a great price around $100. Not only does this place have a variety of alcohol but they sell perfumes and good quality makeup. The best part is that everything is tax free!
Love stopping at this Duty Free store. Great variety of goods , friendly employees.
If you have been to a duty free shop, it is the norm. Good prices on luxury items like chocolate, jewelry, liquor, tobacco, clothes, tourist stuff, and watches. Good prices due to the nature of the store. Nice addition is a coffee type shop. I enjoyed the experience.
This was my first time here. I was surprised to see what items they had at the store. Enjoyed looking & buying.
The store was very clean and the staff was very helpful
