To Jenn and Shane. Our phone rings several times (50+) in a day and when another customer calls we hear the beep for the incoming call but we cannot switch over until we are done with the original call. The reason we do not have the answering machine set up is because if a customer calls that has a loan due my boss will like to speak with them personally.

Just wondering with all this covid 19 stuff going on and now certain stores are closed due to it how would people who have things in there currently go about extending or getting thier stuff back I've tried to leave a message at the number online but noone answers and there is no voice mail set up. This place doesn't even deserve ONE Star - but it's the only way to put how DISGUSTED I am!!! The Website showed Store Hours and to put it Nicely - PUT THE RIGHT STORE HOURS ON YOUR SITE!!!!!!!!!! I came in to St. Thomas from out of town and it was CLOSED when it said OPEN. It actually has Sunday - Open 24 hours. Word of mouth is a Powerful thing St. Thomas Pawn Shop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!c

The owner is friendly but the staff could use a lesson in patronage. The quality of products is not guaranteed, since there is no way to tell if they've been certified in any way, or even checked properly for functionality. They also never answer their phone if you want to ask about an item, and they don't even have voicemail at the moment. If you collect tat, it's a good place to stop in for a few minutes before heading to stores where you are actually likely to spend money rather than have a mild window-shopping experience.

Owner is very fair and wonderfully helpful to his customers. Some of these people live a very simple life and I've seen this guy helping them to not only find the stuff they actually need, but also to help them get it all working. Good guy and fair prices.

I found out if anyone was curious on Matthew Funstin's review. All items are fully serviced and tested before items come out. Most items get a 30 day warranty and the items that don't still get a limited warranty. As for not answering the telephone read MAXTHUNDER99's review and that should clear the confusion up and also check the hours because they may not be open that day.

I've been dealing with these guys for almost 20 years. I remember the first time I went in there. I had a bunch of things stolen from me and sold there. I told them what happened and provided proof, and they gave everything back. I'll never forget that, and I've been a regular customer ever since. Everyone who has doubts about pawn shops should shop here. You'll never find a better one. Taxes included on everything they sell, and they're more than happy to make a deal with you on the price. Not to mention they stand behind what they sell! Some big box retailers don't even do that.

Purchased a Crate Keyboard amp,, at this location. channel 1 not working properly...a new Reverb Chamber has been added as a replacement and all you hear is the smash of reverb, even on 1. Let’s be honest here the amp was never CHECKED, there was no set up in store because they didn’t have a bass to try it. They were selling it and was marked as a bass amp. I return on Saturday, no cash for me return on Tuesday and am told by the owner, ‘I checked that amp out personally and there is not a thing wrong with it’. referring to the writer and the writer’s wife liars, I guess.

The guys in this shop are solid the professionalism and integrity they conduct every trade or sale I've seen done there is nothing short of downright amazing. More than fair and even when it's not about what he wants to have in his shop they still are willing to do anything they can to help or seek out information generally they do as much as possible just to help the customer out ... Thanks guys ... And I will always refer your shop without hesitation.

you never answer the dam phone when people have a question for an item before they bring it up and secondly your answering machine with rogers is not set up either. So maybe take care of this issue and you might make money

First time I went in the owner went on about how he treats his customers properly and that's why he has been in business for so long. Then, somewhat ironically, the second and last time I went in he was quite rude. Was short about pricing though I never tried to haggle, and was insulting when asked a question. But that's typical of men like him when they don't know something. Not worth going unless you have to as this town lacks options. Also.. it says a lot that his employees wear a mask but the owner himself does not. Selfish and untrustworthy is all that says about a person when it's this far into a pandemic.
