Love this store and that it supports local. I buy my cats hard food here, because this is the only store in Saint John that carries North Paw (a company originating in Fredericton, New Brunswick). I feel comfortable knowing anything I buy here is high quality and safe for my animals, and I feel happy to be able to support local businesses and entrepreneurs by shopping here. The staff are kind and helpful and my dog is a big fan, as they give him lots of love (and treats). I love the loyalty program, too... a free bag of food sure comes in handy! Best little pet shop in Saint John and I highly recommend shopping here.

Whenever I’ve ever gone into Global Pet Foods in Saint John I’ve always been asked if I needed assistance, either to help me find what I’m looking for or to help carry the product to the register or my car. Often I inquire at the register as to what bag of food we buy as my husband is usually the one who takes care of that and they’ve always gladly helped. It’s also a nice clean environment. I would definitely recommend that one shop there for all their pet needs.

Global Pets is our favourite place to shop for our babies! Vader and Leia love it there they feel so at home and love seeing all the staff! The custermor service at this place is about the best in Saint John always so helpful and cheery and they offer to get what you need carry it out for you and always with a smile, nice to see you thank you have a great day and you most certainly will walk into warm smiles as soon as you enter with or without your pet at your side!

We have been purchasing Natures Harvest beef and ocean fish flavor for adult cats which is normally very good...we have noticed from time to time the food is not suitable for our feline as the contents are sometimes bad. In the past, we just returned it back to the store and received another one... Now, the manager on duty today says; because it was an opened can, they will not replace it. (I do believe Natures harvest credits the store for any product that is not satisfactory to the customer.) Our cat would not eat the food, as the smell was off, so we brought the food back to exchange for another tin. In the past, Global was providing customer service, but this manager thought otherwise, which cost the store a good customer today. Thank you, Meagan, for getting back to us, and letting the Company that manufactures the cat food know about the problem we had with the cat food. Thank you, for reaching out and making us feel like we are heard and acknowledged and making the situation better by providing good customer service. We are happy to continue being a valued customer because you made all the difference in validating and acknowledging there was an issue with the cat food and decided to reach out and do something positive about it.

Great place for many reasons already shopped here for my cat and the food prices are great and other needs these folks had also helped me with my venture of a puppy offering discounts and education on products taking the time with use, the kids and the puppy has made a world of difference not only on my mind but my pocket book trying to balance everyone's needs ....I find most products are price well and fair based on materials made of and limitations that are supplied in the surrounding area ...ie cat trees and dog cages beds and bowls ......also wide selection of raw foods
