(Translated) Very disappointed! The sauce of the Papas in Huancayna was really not authentic, in fact I never eat the least good. The Lomo Saltado either, with that North American brown sauce that is so not authentic that I wondered if it was not a brown sauce cane "saint-hubert", not to mention the sintered potatoes that was frozen. The Jalea was ordinary but so minimal, literally half of what is found in the Peruvian restaurant in Montreal. Their Chicha Morrada was good as well as their hot pepper sauce, but who is seriously going there for that? I did not risk committing their Ceviche because one of my brothers told me that it is very bad. The decor is weird; planks of wood and ceramic that clash and makes the whole "doubtful". I read good reviews of people who are probably not Peruvians by a damme that says it's delicious and authentic (I imagine the owner). It was my first and last time. To avoid if you want authentic Peruvian. The service is slow as well as the kitchen. (Especially since we were two tables) Too expensive for what it is. I give them honestly 2 * / 5 * but considering that their rating of 4.8 / 5 is ridiculous I must make the overall more accurate! (Sorry but not sorry) If you want real Peruvian go to MTL. Sol y Mar as well as Eche Pa Echarle are by far superior (on plaza st-hubert). I have often been told that the Peruvian restaurant on Wellington in Verdun is delicious. This will be my next destination to discover. P.S .: I am Peruvians! (Original) Très déçu! Je me suis pas risqué à commender leur Ceviche car un de mes frères m'a dit qu'elle est très mauvaise. Le décor est bizarre; planches de bois et céramique qui clash et rend le tout "douteux". J'ai lue de bon commentaires de gens qui sont probablement pas Péruviens à par une damme qui dit que c'est délicieux et authentique (j'imagine la proprio). C'était ma première et dernière fois. À éviter si vous voulez de l'authentique Péruvien. Le service est lent ainsi que la cuisine. (Surtout qu'on était deux tables) Trop cher pour ce que c'est. Je leur donne honnêtement 2*/5* mais vue que leur cote de 4.8/5 est ridicule je me dois de rendre le overall plus exact! (Désolé mais pas désolé) Si vous voulez du vrai Péruvien allez à MTL. Sol y Mar ainsi que Eche Pa Echarle sont de loin supérieur (sur plaza st-hubert). On m'a souvent dit que le resto Péruvien sur Wellington à Verdun est délicieux. I have been going to this restaurant for years. If you had to compare back then vs now, there really is a drastic difference. Especially since this is the South Shore, it's much, much cheaper than going to Montreal's where both the price and quality of the food is simply atrocious. (In Mtl, the cheapest plate is about 23$, the portion is ridiculously small and the taste is awful, I'm referencing those stores on the main streets of Metro Jean-Talon.) While there are times that the food is simply "meh", there are other times where the food is exquisite. That's normal. It's only a husband & wife restaurant (And sometimes cousins help), it's nothing like 4uattro. Cesar and his wife really outdid themselves as the years went by. I'm glad that the restaurant is still prospering despite the covid outbreak. PS. If you tell them it's your birthday with Valid ID, they'll make you a free of charge pancake doused with dulce de leche with a fireworks candle and put the "Happy Birthday" song in their pc. (It's simple, but it shows how they much they care about their customer's well-being.)

Use to order here. The quality was going down. Eventually we asked for a pick up order 3 hours before going to look for the food. The service was REALLY SLOW, I had to wait 1 extra hour and NO ONE was there. No customer service at all. Must probably won't return there

I have had it for the second time this year. Both times had the Arroz Con Pollo (rice& chicken) and my gf ordered the Poutine Inka and we shared half/half. I honestly cannot get over how delicious these plates are. Save yourself the trouble of ordering from a big chain and getting lower quality ingredients. This restaurant knows how to pack flavour in each plate!!

Really excellent Peruvian food on the south shore. I've been there only once but I've uber ordered several times and they have yet to disappoint. Excellent portions, fresh, delicious food. I can't say enough good things about this place. Peruvians are known to have the greatest food of South America and Cesar brings honor to their culture.

First 3 experiences were great, food taste and portions were excellent. Portions have gotten smaller and prices continue to get higher. Taste was mediocre on my last visit. Ventilation is poor (smokey and very hot) and service is slow and lacks professionalism. Waitress is more worried about what show is playing on the tv. Unfortunately am not likely to return.

I'm peruvian so I expected some authentic peruvian food. This is not it. I guess that for someone trying peruvian food for the first time, this place seems great but I strongly disagree. The pollo a la brasa is somewhat acceptable for the price and what it includes, the lomo and papa a la huancaina are also ok. The rest is just not. The plates feel cheap for the price they charge, and are not a good representation of what real peruvian food is. The customer service is terrible, takes forever and out of 4 times i have ordered from there, they have changed or simply forgotten part of my order twice. I usually love encouraging small businesses, so it pains me to write this review, but I tried giving it a few chances and I keep getting dissapointed.
