We've got the feddbacks of people who are consuming the products and services of Pasquale's Italian Ristorante (Fish Shop) in the territory close to Saint Boniface (Canada).
As of day this business receives a score of 4.5 stars out of 5 and that rating is based on 127 reviews.
As you can read, it has an average rating is virtually the best one, and it is founded on a high number of feddbacks, so we may think that the score is very faithful. If many people have bothered to leave their score when they are satisfied, is that it works.
As you know, we do not usually bother to set tatings when these are correct and we usually do it only if we have had a problem or issue...
This Fish Shop belongs to the category of Italian restaurant.
First time there and we were NOT disappointed. While parking can be a challenge it is well worth it. Amazing customer service we were greeted right away and were extremely well tended to. Impressive menu and even more impressive food with a wonderfully home made taste, it was like a little taste of authentic Italy in a bowl. Now if never had real home made Italian food so i have nothing to compare to but this is how it felt. My husband had the spaghetti with marinara giant meat balls and melted cheese and I had the fettuccini pollo di broccoli. Quality food worth every penny after 2 main courses, an appatizer, a beer and a juice it was only $60 before gratuity. We will for sure be going again and would highly recommend it to others!
Food was edible but not amazing. Service was friendly, but that was the only good thing. She was not informative or knowledgeable about the menu or wine list. Answered with I don't know to almost every question. Not the worst night out but an underwhelming one. Won't be returning.
Great experience every time i have been here the don is a killer pizza. Thin crust so good, staff amazing. Great lunch specials so swing on by for a fine and reasonably priced lunch you won't be disappointed. Such a nice restaurant upstairs outdoor patio and quaint interior
Not bad but not going to be a favorite. Staffs are friendly. A bit pricey.
Great place to be on a cold rainy evening. From their garlic bread (on a soft chiabata bun) to their Italian salad and great dish of piping hot spaghetti - Fort Garry beer - finished off with an espresso alongé and caloni. Merci thanks
Outstanding food and service. Authentic Italian food in a charming setting. Will return soon!
Really good and rich tasting food. Stopped because I saw the sign for single slice pizza. So worth it! Yummo The mushroom soup is made with rich fresh ingredients..so good
We were excited to try lots of menu items. We ordered chicken fettuccine Alfredo, medium pizza, calamari, and ravioli. Meh. Was nothing we would want to have again. Nothing tasted bad.
The food was super fantastic and service was excellent and friendly. Such an intimate atmosphere. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
Excellent dining, great service. The veal cutlet is amazing. Would definitely come again to try the pizza. Mmmm.
Best place in town. Joe and Shelley took good care of me.
Great service and good food. Only reason its not 5 star is because what I had ordered did seem a little weak on the spices and was a more bland than I was expecting. Still good food but could have been better.
Was there a year ago as part of a work trip but brought my family back this time - food was as excellent as I remembered it! We had the capresé salad, veal Marsala and penne with spicey sausage. Huge portions. Best Italian restaurant in Winnipeg in my opinion. Thanks for looking after us and see you next time we are in town!
Tried the pizza here for the first time today. All I have to say it's top notch. They don't skimp on toppings or overload it too much. It's just the perfect amount. The dough is nice and thin. The pizza sauce it self was Amazing.... My only issue is they didn't put enough sauce on it. Highly recommend this place and will deffently order again!
This this restaurant has delicious food that is genuinely Italian. The price range is between 20 to $30. Portion is very big. I had a seafood pasta and it had generous amount of seafood in it which I found it found really nice. If you go in the summertime, they have a patio upstairs that is really nice and spacious spacious but I also really like their indoor settings. As you walk in the restaurant there is a dessert Display and although I was too full to try an in desserts they looked really good.
Food tasted good up until I found egg shells in my carbonara... They did however remake it and the staff didn't question me on it. However they still charged me full price after this mishap. Not sure if I'll be back as this was my 1st impression of this place. I hope something like this isn't a regular occurrence...
Cozy restaurant in St. Boniface that I must have passed hundreds of times in high school. Glad I finally got the opportunity to try it. It's a great little space to have a get together with friends and family. Food was fantastic and great for sharing. Will definitely return to try the roof top patio.
Best Italian pizza ever had. It’s bit expensive but worth trying.
I came here for the first time and all I can say is wow. Incredible pasta, the carbonara was creamy and delicious, and the atmosphere was very cozy. Can get a little loud but that's expected in a smaller restaurant. Overall I will definitely be back!
Great place for some traditional Italian plates. Friendly staff and the owner Joe is a good guy. I reccomend this place !!
Had our first Pizza from Pasquale,s and was very impressed. great crust and sauce with generous topping.. the place to go for great Pizza.
Tourists to the area, we came upon this restaurant via google. Called ahead to make a reservation. It was amazing! Very friendly service, food arrived quickly even though it was packed on a wed night. And it tasted amazing! We had the veal, Lasagna, Spaghetti Pesto and some very tasty desserts and everything was fresh and fabulous! If you like authentic italian food you have to stop in here :)
This restaurant is truly a Winnipeg staple. Everytime I go, I'm treated by the owner, the staff are all exceptionally freindly, the food is of outstanding taste and quality, and the prices are very reasonable. It is always a pleasant surprise, every step of the dining experience. I would recommend Pasquale's to anyone.
The patio is perfect, I love people watching all the drivers on Marion who sneakily think they are looking at their cell phones while driving but the patrons of Pasquale's patio know your secrets! Also the food is very good and authentic, the prices are agreeable for the quality and quantity you get and my girlfriend ordered a glass of wine and it came full to the brim! A fantastic St.B dining experience.
I love Pasquale's. The best Italian eatery in town! Their food is always great and the owner and staff so friendly and helpful. I've been going there for quite a number of years off and on and I'm never disappointed. If you've never been there try it you will love it!! Thanks Joe!!!
Great food and price. A rare experience if not being able to finish dinner as the portions were huge!
Fantastic service and food was amazing proportions were very good as well.
Excellent place! Enjoyed our 19th anniversary meal here today. Started with Badda Bing Shrimp, followed by Antipasto Salad and a Italian Sausage and mushroom stuffed panzerotti. Prices very reasonable, friendly staff and a roof top patio. I've been here several times and highly recommend you try it for yourself ????
Average at best. Very pricey for what you get, it's something you look at and think, "I totally could've made this at home". Service is below-average to average. The pasta I ordered was straight out of a box and tossed into some sauce and that's it. My girlfriend got their dinner special at the time, and honestly it looked like something I could've gotten at my hospital cafeteria. Not worth the price, for that same price you could just go to Harth and have a MUCH better experience. I've yet to try the rest of their menu, but apparently the pasta I ordered was one of their best sellers, so not entirely enthusiastic to return.
It was a little tight but the food was delicious
Best Italian food in the city, best pizza in the city and great service. The staff know my husband and I by name and they know our appetizer and drink order by heart. Just walking in to this place brings a smile to my face. I went on a vacation for a week and a half alone. After driving for 14hrs to get home my husband asked me what I wanted to eat. My answer of course was Pasquale's once we walked in I finally had this overwhelming feeling and said to my husband as we sat at our usual table "I am home!". This restaurant makes me feel like that and it is an amazing feeling.
My wife and I enjoyed amazing appetizers including mussels, calamari and Nana's amazing meatballs. All were absolutely mouthwatering, exquisitely delicious. The portions were generous, the ambience relaxed, and the serving staff friendly and outright professionals. It is no wonder Pasquale continues to enjoy such a varied and loyal base of customers.
I've come here twice for lunch and both times had a great experience. The staff are friendly, conversational and attentive. Management or possibly the owner came and asked how my meal was at both occasions. Very nice touch. Food was hearty and delicious. For the quality and amount of food, I found the prices very reasonable on the lunch menu. Highly recommend and will be going back again.
My favorite restaurant ever by far! Best Italian food in the city. Small restaurant, but large patio. Very friendly staff, quick and courteous service. Pricing is amazingly reasonable for the huge serving sizes. Definitely recommend!!
I've been here many times and the food is always amazing. Granted I only ever get the chicken and broccoli fettuccine Alfredo, it's the best I've ever had. The portions are more then I can eat in one sitting.
First time going with my friends and we had the best time. Food was amazing, atmosphere was great, staff were so kind! Also, I'm not sure if he was the owner, but this man was so kind! I highly recommend and will be back!????
Service was unbelievable! Shelley was our server and her recommendations were on point. The owner even came to check on us when we were finished which you do not see very often. I understand why this place has been around for so long. Keep up the great work.
Authentic Italian food just like the one my Grandma used to cook. Friendly staff. We really enjoyed our meals.
Had dinner tonight with the girls at Pasquale’s. Warm, welcoming atmosphere, great service and delicious food! I will definitely be back for more.????????
The food was truly amazing and the patio view was breathless. Service was spectacular. This is really a hidden gem in the heart if Winnipeg.
Great restaurant. Real good Cousine fresh ingredients! Just yummy . Wanna go on a date go there . The wine selection is excellent!
I love Pasquale's. Best local pizza in my opinion. I usually get the Margherita pizza, I love the simple rich flavours and the combination of buffalo mozzarella and regular mozzarella. They have a good gluten free option for their pizza too, I've tried and enjoy both. Service is always friendly and the ambiance is warm and cozy. My favorite time of year to go is summer so I can enjoy the second story patio. I recommend making a reservation if you want to attend during peak times.
Food was ok but a bit expensive
Loved it. Great pizza, great salads, great pasta and desserts. Service was spot on, definitely must try this place. Wonderful place to eat and enjoy
Great staff. Awesome food. Great patio. Always enjoy going to see Joe and the rest of the staff
Had the Sambuca Chili Cream Shrimp. Not usually a fan of seafood but was absolutely delicious
We had the Panzerotti and an Antipasto Salad. Panzerotti is massive. 2 of split it and were stuffed. Delicious and great rooftop patio.
Had a great experience. The pizza was fantastic, the service top notch. This is a great place to bring the family, It is such a unique building, pretty sure this was a house converted into a restaurant. The decore is very Italian, and tasteful. We will be going back.
Very cute place. The food was great, the waitress was very nice as well... I will definitely be coming here in the future. Ps they say to get in during the weekends to reserve a table. I would do it regardless because I went late on a Thursday and it was still busy!
Great good and even better service. Highly recommend
We loved this place. The bread and butter was delicious. The food was great. The service was exceptional.
From initial reservation to the moment we left the experience was wonderful and waitress was very professional. Also, the food was amazing! I can honestly say that it was the best lasagna I have ever had! If you are looking for Italian, you need to try this place!
We really like Pasquales and our waitress was second to none the other night, but.... The entrees were all over the map in serving size. Some meals were really plentiful but others were not really satisfying at all. The Chicken Parmesan dinner at $27 was quite small and another person in our party had dinner sized Ceasar Salad and that was disappointingly small also. The food quality was good but both these people left the restaurant hungry despite the fact that we all had an appetizer. I'm felt bad that I had suggested supper there as a result. Not a good night overall.
First time going to restaurant. Family was in from out of country wanted to try something other than chain restaurant. They were able to take reservation for 8 people 2 hours before we wanted to come. We had a lovely space all to ourselves. We had ordered a bunch of different things and tried everyone’s entrees. Everything was amazing. Excellent service. Definitely would go back and recommend to others
First time visiting and it will NOT be the last! Great little restaurant, found it very cozy and comfortable. Highly recommended a reservation given the smaller size to ensure no disappointment. Food was excellent with the timing spread out between appetizers and mains. They have a great selection of desserts too All all I highly recommend this restaurant, you will not leave disappointed
The best restaurant in Winnipeg. Everything is always delicious, the service is awesome and I can't wait to come back!
Beautiful evening on the patio..the food was awesome..company was great
great food. nice service. all around good place to eat
Stopped in with my daughter to share an appetizer and a dessert. The Suppli (risotto balls) were delicious and the portion was a good size for the price. Dear Daughter chose the raspberry cheesecake as our dessert and it was a great choice. Very rich, smooth and flavourful. We were greeted immediately and warmly by Shelley followed by excellent service from Danielle. She was attentive, informative and friendly. The cozy and romantic atmosphere is comforting and unique. A great spot to wine and dine someone.
We had a very good supper tonight. I enjoyed the pistachio pasta special. It has been over a year since we're last here and the server recognized us. That is good service.
Hands down my favourite restaurant in the city! Amazing pasta and huge portions.
Food was fantastic. Our server was awesome with our 8 year old. Great restaurant for date night, family night or casual dining. Family owned and serving Winnipeg for many years.
We ordered for curbside pick-up yesterday evening. The misses ordered the Spaghetti Fruti di Mare and shared a large Caesar Salad with me. The pasta was extremely watery are very bland. The salad was just a bunch of stalk chopped up with very little leaf and with hardly any shredded parmesan cheese and croutons. The two small containers of dressing were not nearly enough to sufficiently coat the salad. Since it's a take-out order, it's better to have too much dressing on the side than not enough. On the flip side, the 12'' pepperoni and pineapple pizza was superb! After reading in a review that Pasquale's doesn't add enough sauce to their pizzas, I ordered extra sauce, which, to my surprise, was provided in two cups rather than spread directly onto the pie crust. Nonetheless, this common sense oversight did not hamper the quality of the pizza. Our go-to place for Italian take-out is Bellisimo's; but we figured we would try a variety of homegrown restaurants to support the industry during these trying times. My suggestion to the boss is to send his chef to Bellisimo's and have them order the Scampi Al Vino Bianco with a Caesar Salad. That's how a seafood pasta and salad should taste like!
We feel insulted! Let's start with positive I ordered their meatballs which were decent, moist and seasoned well. Marinara sauce was alright. But lack finesse even if its a " rustic ". We paid $20 for a small " margherita pizza. (as you can see) it is not. Instead we got a cheese pizza with diced tomatoes with dried basil sprinkled. And the whole topping slid off. Which is a clear sign of a poor pizza. I just think as in life "if you can not do it right, do not do it at all!" And since when are margherita pizza so oily to the point the box was soaked at the bottom ? I will not recommend this "establishment"
Went there today for lunch with my husband and daughter, and received the wrong pizza order. I ordered the Louis Primavera (vegetarian) and received the Primo (meat & olive). While I was disappointed initially to eat after everyone else was finished, the owner went above and beyond to correct the mistake as quickly as possible on a busy Friday AND offer a coupon for a return visit. Most amazing service by the owner and most amazing vegetarian pizza!! Thank you!!
Very good Sangria, Suppli appetizer, French onion soup with provolone cheese, and my friend's sold was very good.
The food is awesome but the staff is even better! My husband, and I are missing so much our favorite restaurant (AKA "my kitchen"). Please reopen soon! The Chartier
Love this place. Always order through skip. Decided to go in and eat. Good portion sizes and such a cute restaurant. Highly reccomend
Good Italian restaurant with good prices. Feels very homey. Service may be slow if the place is busy (understandably).
Excellent food! Try to eat on the rooftop if you can.
Been here four times and everytime is delicious. Would go more often, but it is a bit of a drive from where i work. It is also very great to see the owner greeting customers, cleaning tables and doing whatever to help out. (Soups are amazing)
Amazing pizzas and panzarotis. Friendly service too. Highly recommend!
My wife and I had a late dinner at Pasquale's Jan 26th, 2019. We had been talking about going there since we drive past it daily, for a couple of years and finally decided to just go. Appetizers were deep fried risotto balls and panfritta's (or "little clouds of heaven" as my wife now calls them). I had the 3 course meal they currently have and also chose the Caesar salad and Fettucine Pollo Alfredo. My wife ordered the Fettucine Pollo Fuhn-something or other (Fettucine with chicken, mushroom and Marsala sauce). It came with a couple of little loaves of bread. Everything was excellent. We both tried all the dishes and liked them all. The Alfredo Sauce was a little different than I've ever had and was quite pleasant, I'd say the same for the Caesar dressing. Portions are quite large. I'm a big guy and went in hungry and still left with enough for another meal, as did my wife. I commented several times that their menu prices seemed cheaper than I expected on most items by about $5, which I found impressive considering the portion size and how tasty it was. We used to get pizza from Pasquale's but hadn't dinned inside in almost 10 years, but we're making it a regular on our outings list. Our server was very friendly and attentive (the poor girl banged her head on a shelf while we were there and toughed her way through it like nothing happened). It was a great overall experience and I would highly recommend.
Everything about this place was amazing!! The atmosphere was perfect, the service was friendly and superb, the food was THE BEST!! This is my new favourite restaurant in Winnipeg, definitely gonna be visiting again when we're in town!
My daughter and I stopped in here today for lunch. We had an overall wonderful dining experience. The food was excellent and our waitress was incredibly efficient and helpful. I certainly echo the large number of positive reviews that this restaurant has earned.
This was our second time to your establishment. The service is both welcoming and great. We were a table of 8 tonight and everyone thought the food was fantastic. Cheers, Pasquale's on a job well done. We'll be back for sure.
Amazing food & great servers!
Great family restaurant, always enjoy the quality of the food and drinks at Pasquales. Their pizzas are prepared to perfection, with traditional and unique varaities. Their entrees and pastas are also delicious. Service is great and they are very accommodating to small or large parties (call ahead for big parties).
great vegan options and really nice roof top patio
First time I've been there and was not disappointed. Everything was hot and tasted great. I think the price was good also. Staff is friendly. Definitely will be going back.
Great food and amazing service! Half way through our meal my 3-year old sent her pasta flying across the table and floor. The staff were quick to help clean up and made us feel like it was no big deal (the mess was huge!). Sorry for the mess! Thanks for the amazing service.
The food here is very good. Your standard fare for Americanized Italian Cuisine. The quality is superior to most restaurants and the prices are very reasonable. It's a cozy space, there are plenty of secluded spaces in the restaurant and even when it's at capacity it still feels like you have privacy. They have excellent desserts! The patio is also very nice during the summer.
The food was good, but remarkably over priced - I had one glass of the house wine and a bowl of pasta (that came without salad or side vegetable), and my bill was $30. Two members of our party had their meals served well after the rest of the group - one got the explanation that their food had been cooked incorrectly, while the other got no explanation at all? The price point puts this restaurant in the same realm as some much more intimate, upscale, and inventive restaurants in the area. We won't be coming back.
This place makes my favourite pizza. I don't even bother getting pizza anywhere else. My partner and I have make Pasquale's one of our regular date spots and we are never disappointed. They are so friendly and the place is very inviting and cozy. The last server we had was Nora according to the receipt and she was really friendly and prompt. I will always recommend Pasquale's to anyone and will be coming back for years to come.
My first time to Pasquale's Italian Risorante. I was very imoressed with how accomidating the servers were. I am a vegotarian and they were able to recpmend a good vegoarian dish. The Egg Plant Parm was great!!. Servers did not need tp ne flagged down to request more water or wine. They would ask befkre I wanted to ask which was awesme. The atmousphere was very friendly and inviting. Looking forward to use my gift rhey gave to see hiw much I will save on my next meal.
Lovely little Italian restaurant with big, fresh flavor and ingredients, and wonderful staff!
Came to the restaurant, for the first time, and perfect all the way across. First the staff is very friendly Second it is very clean, sure it's an old building but well maintained and cleaned Third it's nice to see how the staff works here since the owner him self brings to meals, or at least brought our meals and other people meals when I saw other tables Forth the meals at first glance look small but there is a lot more there then one would think, that is what I thought, started to deal like it never would end, it's like it has the trick when it doubles while your eating Fifth they make it great by having to customers in tone with everything, example like when the manager announced the Italy vs British football game coming up and asking, not by force at all, a vote for who you wish would win the up coming game. Lastly my conclusion. Great place great service, my complaint, almost too much to eat, JUST managed to finish though. As said in Italian, BELLISSIMO.
Enjoyed our dinner, the server was very friendly. We had the Chicken Ala Pasquale, which was delicious. We met the owner Joe who came to say Hi.
Tried ordering through Skip the Dishes. It failed and cancelled my order. So I called to see if they were open. They were they just hadn't activated skip yet. They let me know I could order direct online from them. So looking to support a local business and save them the Skips fees I did. Over an hour and a half later. Still no food. and it didn't save me any money. The price was the same through Skip but maybe I would have my food. At least I would know the status of my delivery. No such update from their system. I did finally get my food. It was very good even though the sauce from my pasta was spilled all over the bag. But it all tasted delicious.
Had a good night with my mother. The waitress/staff are polite, accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. For starters mother had Caesar salad and I antipasto salad - delicious. For entree I ordered Spaghetti Primavera Pesto, adding shrimp and chicken (all the proteins!) and it was made Gluten Free (swapping out the noodles for GF). To be honest I think the dish was delicious but the noodles slightly over cooked, my experience with GF noodles is if they are over cooked they’re mush, but to be fair GF is tricky and it’s a hard balance. The sauce and meat was cooked beautifully. My mother had Alla Parmigiana with veal and she said it was cooked perfect. The manager/owner even came by to check up on our meal and I don’t come often - maybe 2-3 times a year but when we do, whomever I come with - family, friends, dates I always feel welcome and love to support local. Will go again and again, maybe try a pizza? Never had and I think? They have GF options
