Terrible. Extremely disappointed. We have had to switch brands or flavours every single month because the Revelstoke location is constantly "out of stock." We tried a special order and it took over a month to arrive (despite being told it would arrive within the week). I have always shopped at small family owned pet stores and never had any problems until moving to Revelstoke where Animal House is our only option. We will be taking our business elsewhere.

Very helpful staff and friendly to boot. The only reason for the four stars instead of five is that they do not carry Blue Wilderness dog food which is the one that my dog does the best on. They do however have some healthy foods there and I will go back there when in need and in the area again.

I'm only giving 1 star because I can't leave zero. I've been here several times in a pinch and not once have I had even remotely a good experience. Worst pet store I've ever been to. Manager is one of the rudest people I've ever encountered and makes every trip into the store an awful experience. She will snap at and insult customers and I've witnessed hwr treating staff poorly repeatedly. The people that work for her are wonderful but I can't justify going in there and giving that awful woman my money. Not even too mention that their products are massively overpriced and many of them are low quality. If you have any pet other than a dog you're not going to be able to find what you need, the manager will most likely be unwilling to try to order it in for you. If you do find what you need you're going to pay an exorbitant amount for a product that will be dirty/broken or unsafe/unsuitable for your pet. There is absolutely nothing they can offer you that you're not better off ordering online or going out of town for.

the manager woman is miserable and unhelpful. we have purchased lots of fish products and fish from this location and have watched her be incredibly rude to us and others in line multiple times now. Today was the final straw. we've had issues with our tank and came in to get help and advice. we were told "owning a fish tank is self explanatory" for our 30 gallon tropical fresh water community tank. obviously that DID NOT HELP US. even her employee was mortified and tried to reconcile for her rudeness and just plain disrespect. I recommend not supporting this business and carrying on to the next town for advice and purchases

Worse experience I have ever had. Women working was by far the rudest person ever. She was mean and treated customers like S***. I was returning an item but was within the time frame and the item wasn't used. They lost a loyal customer. Will order what I need online instead of entering that store.

Stock is generally quite good. Worst case scenario you need to grab a different sized bag if you need the exact formula/flavor. Have yet to have a problem. Staff is also very quick to help.
