I was so happy to find a Stain & Odor remover that I have been looking for there. It's by Simple Solution an it is the best thing I have found to fix "accidents" that our senior 17yr old fur baby is having. Great staff and was pleasantly surprised at the price. Cute little store.

During Covid when I was unable to source food for our dogs they went out of their way to help me find something that would work. Then just yesterday a customer came into our own store in Cathedral and bought something on a direct recommendation from the Pet’s Store staff. They poor food in my dogs bowl and food on our family’s plate and we are thankful they are their and will be switching all our pet purchases there effective immediately! Thanks so much! What an amazing team of people that work here. My Dog passed away (one of a bonded pair). My living dog stopped eating and the people at this store helped me so much with advice on eating and guiding me through her grieving process. Their compassion for animals and for the community has definitely made a life long customer out of me. Easily the best Pet Store in the city.

Stopped in to pick up a 'thank you' gift for our cat sitter back home in Vancouver...what a lovely neighborhood pet store! Owner (Pam) and employee (Julie) are awesome! Both serious animal lovers, and super knowledgeable - we had a chat about best food for diabetic cats (we have one) they definitely know their stuff! The store is clean and well organized - great selection of food, toys, treats, dishes etc. Their covid protocols are excellent too (masks, sanitizer, customer limit), which is important to this cat loving RN! Some really unique items too - I ended up getting gifts for our kitties as well as their sitter????. If I lived here I would be shopping here all the time!???? 5 stars - highly recommended...

Good luck getting in! Call ahead! Last 2 times I was there, doors are locked with a "Be back at x:xx" was on the door. Guess these guys both need to take their breaks at the same time. Great way to run a business. smh

So kind and helpful. We ran out of cat food and it was late on a Thursday. They were closed and when I peered in the window they came and opened up the store and helped me pick out the right food I needed for our cats. They didn't have to do that -- it was the end of a long day for them, too. So I really really appreciated it!

Very knowledgeable and friendly staff will help you choose what you need for your pet without pressuring or upselling. I was able to purchase dog food with real ingredients and made in Alberta, supporting a local store and a Canadian food supplier. The dog toys are rugged and durable and safe for your pet. They don't have space for hordes of stock but you will probably find what you need. Pet-friendly as well.
