They told me “30 day guarantee” ? At the day I bought fishes, one of them was death, the day after I bring the fish back, they asked for the sample. When I back with sample THEY ASKED FOR THE DEATH FISH that I already gave them. Then the lady left me and chat to other guy. Now all of the fish is death after 3 days. And I have not get any exchange fish. They are liar. I WILL NOT STEP IN TO ANY PETLAND.

My family loves coming here! staff are great! kids love the reptiles and how they can hold the animals. Best place to have some family fun and learn how to take care of the different types of animals and reptiles. I've shopped here a few times, the animals are always well taken care of, my only problem is that the are far too many kids unsupervised harassing the animals in the open bins (I saw a young boy grabbing quite violently at budgies while they made alarm calls and no staff was present to assist him and prevent damage or emotional trauma to him or the birds). They offered to request and call me for a specific type of cockatiel, no response there yet but the breeders may not have it yet so I'm fine with that, and I appreciate that they put in a request. I did have a small complaint about phone etiquette. I called and asked for a specific product and the girl who answered was very curt with her response and made me feel like I was not valued as a potential customer. Also if your website offers the product and your store does not, it seems like good business practice to consider offering to order the product in if there are customers that want to purchase it, since it's clearly available to your company.

Staff is really young and inexperienced. Every time we go buy food for our pets the price is different, they have discounts and when you go to pay you have to tell them about the discount, since they don't know their prices you have to go back and take the price stickers to them so they charge you what they're supposed to. This has happened every single time I have bought food for my dog and cat there. Disappointed, I don't recommend it.

While service, selection and services are competitively competent, something in the building or people makes my older dog nervous. Over the last 13 years we've probably had her groomed there at least once and we wonder if she was nicked or remembers some other trauma. Horrible experience. Crappy customer service. Never once been greeted. The one time I mentioned to the guy in the fish and reptiles that he had 3 dead fish he gasped stated in the most sarcastic tone that he knew and he'd get it later. The fish and snails in the tank weren't looking very well at all. I could have basically walked out of the store holding on to the bunny I had been petting as soon as I had walked in. Horrible and the worst experience EVER in a pet store.

Great selection of pet food, toys, and care products as well as the largest variety of adorable pets in Regina. They take good care of the creatures they peddle. Fish, birds, lizards, amphibians, many medium and small mammals, and more! One problem is that many of their products are a bit overpriced. If you can find an alternative at somewhere like Walmart, it will be cheaper.

I've seen many that have been mistreated and every Guinea pig I've got from them has been sick. I did like some of the people that worked there but they've been replaced. They do have lots of supplies that I can't find other places.

Used to love the store, would come here first for my pet needs. Staff is always friendly and helpful. I have been transitioning my fish tank to real plants. First I needed to buy fertilizer for my plants, an employee came up and asked if I needed help and I said yes as I was looking for plant fertilizer. This employee then went to get another who was more knowledgeable about plants, the employee never returned. I waited 20+ minutes for them to return but ended up making my own decision based on help from the internet. Went in a few days later to get some live plants. I decided upon two Anubias. The plants were and still are very healthy, little to my knowledge they had pest snails in them. Both adults and eggs. The next day I looked in my tank and it is infested. I immediately went in and all I got was "we can't guarantee there isn't pest snails in the plants" and then the girl said to me "I hope things get easier for you". Had to go out of my way to then buy an assassin snail from a different pet store to kill these pest snails. Be warned when considering buying live plants from here your tank has a high chance of getting infested. Needless to say I will NOT be returning to petland or to buy anything from their store.

It's 3:02pm and the sun is shining bright in the sky and these parking lot lights are blazing lumens onto the freely solar illuminated parking as if our planet isn't bursting into flames right now. You should be ashamed. I couldn't even go inside. I would give zero stars if I could. Edit: It is 12:49 on a bright and frigid January day. The snow is so blinding I am wearing sunglasses. These lights are still on, petland. I don't want to stare into the light, there is still plenty of life to live- for individuals and our Earth. Don't make us stare into your artifical light. Please. EDIT: I would like to thank google, the internet, my mom and dad, and the capitalist overlords who have heard my cries. It is March first at 2:29pm and the lights are finally being given their day of rest. Amen. I will finally enter the store. Edit: The fish here appear better cared for than every other chain pet store I have attended. Thanks.

Staff are nice, the loyalty program is handy with a growing puppy, they have some great Canadian products regularly stocked, & a good selection of limited-ingredient foods (my pup has allergies), and they sell Acana & Canadian naturals which my fur-babies love. Their collars & leashes are on the expensive end though (save some $ and buy off amazon, or at petsmart, or petvalu)

Checked store times on Google and it stated that they closed at 9pm. I showed up at 8:20pm (drove all the way from the far NW corner to get there). The doors were still open, so I walked in and the lady apologized and said they were closed. I explained that on the website or Google it states open until 9pm and I desperately needed dog food. She stated the tills were closed off. I said she needed to have the website adjusted. She then snottily stated they have no control over that. Wrong answer. The correct answer is that she would contact a manager or the person necessary to correct it to save people from going through the same thing. Normally this store is "ok" in dealing with customers...wouldnt say great. Most of the people they hire are working there only to play with the animals but don't have any real world working knowledge. I believe this snotty girl I dealt with was one of them. Because of this, I'll save fuel and go to one of the other pet stores where they would actually offer to fix a problem rather than slough it off as not her/their problem. I will be going on to cow town and pats pets site and giving them a 5 star google reviews after this. Because after dealing with them consistently as well, they at least have never displayed an arrogance and dismissal type attitude.

I normally have excellent service and very understanding staff but upon getting my birds wings clipped ( I've ALWAYS gone with my bird) I said ok let's go when she came to me saying yes I'll clip his wings. She had a HUGE ATTITUDE problem with me all of a sudden going in in the back with her while she clips his wings.... finally I said whatever It has to get done one way or another " if you don't trust me here " I said " whatever just do it I'll talk to your manager later. Just had a great time at Petland. Was out enjoying the day and decided to drop in and see what was up. Was in the cat adoption room for a bit. Wanted to visit and play with another cat just for some fun therapy. Staff are very friendly and accommodating to what you are looking for. When I was done had to look around for gift ideas for my cat and a couple of other 4 legged friends. Go and have a look and who knows? Might come home with a new friend :)
